Početkom prošle sezone otišao je na posudbu u talijanski Cagliari no epizoda na “Čizmi” također je bila prožeta ozljedama i bez zapažena uspjeha
- Sada prije svega razmišljam o tome kako se nametnuti i izboriti mjesto u momčadi, sve drugo je sada u drugom planu - rekao je Brkljača koji je, nakon što je prve polusezone u Hajduku muku mučio s leđima, i u Italiji imao prave peripetije, što u klubu s papirima, što s ozljedama.
- Prije dolaska u Hajduk nisam imao ozbiljnijih ozljeda, a nakon problema s leđima otišao sam u Italiju u kojoj sam prvo dva-tri mjeseca čekao dozvolu za nastup. Uslijedila je ozljeda prepona, pa sam slomio ruku... Da mi je netko rekao da će se sve ovako razvijati rekao bih mu kako je to nemoguće! Valjda sam konačno svoje “pegule” odradio...
Brkljača ističe kako bi da mu se opet pružila prigoda vjerojatno ipak izabrao isti put.
- Valjda to tako bude u životu, ali sve bih ponovio. U godinu i pol prošao sam i Italiju i Hajduk, sve ono što sam prije samo priželjkivao, ali nisam ništa napravio. Ispada da sam pogriješio odlaskom u Italiju, da sam se mogao nametnuti u Hajduku, no ne žalim što sam otišao. To je za mene iskustvo više - smatra 25-godišnji veznjak koji sada samo priželjkuje što manje posjeta liječničkoj službi kluba.
- Želim biti zdrav i prisutan na svakom treningu, samo je to bitno. Zdravlje je najvažnije, potom želim izboriti mjesto u prvih jedanaest, a da pričam nešto drugo nakon svega što sam prošao - to bi bile “nebuloze”. Potom će se po potrebi dizati ljestvica. Cilj mi je što više igrati. Kada bih skupio 25-30 utakmica u narednoj sezoni bio bih više nego zadovoljan.
U postavljanju klupskih ciljeva nije pak bilo skromnosti. Za jubilarni rođendan kluba čelnici su jasno rekli kako priželjkuju titulu prvaka.
- Bilo bi idealno kada bi stoti rođendan proslavili titulom, ali neće biti lako pored Dinama, Rijeke... Bitan je start, da ne ponovimo greške iz proteklih sezona, ali važna je i svijest da se igra čitavo prvenstvo. Ovdje nakon jednog-dva slabija rezultata odmah na početku nastane šok, velik je pritisak, navijači traže više... Forma se hvata tijekom cijele sezone.

Početkom prošle sezone otišao je na posudbu u talijanski Cagliari no epizoda na “Čizmi” također je bila prožeta ozljedama i bez zapažena uspjeha
- Sada prije svega razmišljam o tome kako se nametnuti i izboriti mjesto u momčadi, sve drugo je sada u drugom planu - rekao je Brkljača koji je, nakon što je prve polusezone u Hajduku muku mučio s leđima, i u Italiji imao prave peripetije, što u klubu s papirima, što s ozljedama.
- Prije dolaska u Hajduk nisam imao ozbiljnijih ozljeda, a nakon problema s leđima otišao sam u Italiju u kojoj sam prvo dva-tri mjeseca čekao dozvolu za nastup. Uslijedila je ozljeda prepona, pa sam slomio ruku... Da mi je netko rekao da će se sve ovako razvijati rekao bih mu kako je to nemoguće! Valjda sam konačno svoje “pegule” odradio...
Brkljača ističe kako bi da mu se opet pružila prigoda vjerojatno ipak izabrao isti put.
- Valjda to tako bude u životu, ali sve bih ponovio. U godinu i pol prošao sam i Italiju i Hajduk, sve ono što sam prije samo priželjkivao, ali nisam ništa napravio. Ispada da sam pogriješio odlaskom u Italiju, da sam se mogao nametnuti u Hajduku, no ne žalim što sam otišao. To je za mene iskustvo više - smatra 25-godišnji veznjak koji sada samo priželjkuje što manje posjeta liječničkoj službi kluba.
- Želim biti zdrav i prisutan na svakom treningu, samo je to bitno. Zdravlje je najvažnije, potom želim izboriti mjesto u prvih jedanaest, a da pričam nešto drugo nakon svega što sam prošao - to bi bile “nebuloze”. Potom će se po potrebi dizati ljestvica. Cilj mi je što više igrati. Kada bih skupio 25-30 utakmica u narednoj sezoni bio bih više nego zadovoljan.
U postavljanju klupskih ciljeva nije pak bilo skromnosti. Za jubilarni rođendan kluba čelnici su jasno rekli kako priželjkuju titulu prvaka.
- Bilo bi idealno kada bi stoti rođendan proslavili titulom, ali neće biti lako pored Dinama, Rijeke... Bitan je start, da ne ponovimo greške iz proteklih sezona, ali važna je i svijest da se igra čitavo prvenstvo. Ovdje nakon jednog-dva slabija rezultata odmah na početku nastane šok, velik je pritisak, navijači traže više... Forma se hvata tijekom cijele sezone.
