Ono što je jučer najavljeno, dobilo je svoju potvrdu u srijedu, na izvanrednoj konferenciji za novinare NK Osijek održanoj u VIP salonu stadiona Gradski vrt. 

Za novog predsjednika osječkog prvoligaša imenovan je Slobodan Tolj, dosadašnji čelnik Nadzornog odbora (čiji je nasljednik na toj dužnosti Darinko Mikulić, nap.a.), dok je potpredsjednik postao Miroslav Kos, sada umirovljenik, koji je svoj trag u nogometu ostavio poglavito kao uspješni predsjednik nekadašnje Omladinske komisije NK Osijek. 

Budući da je, prije nego su se i novi klupski čelnici obratili novinarima, gradonačelnik Ivica Vrkić ustvrdio da je Grad i definitivno preuzeo skrb o NK Osijek te obećao u kratkom vremenskom roku isplatu svih zaostalih primanja nogometnim profesionalcima (pokazujući pritom i virman za prvih 600.000 kuna iz gradskog proračuna, nap.a.), stekao se dojam da bi prvoligaš s Drave, konačno, mogao uploviti u mirnije vode normalnog funkcioniranja što je prisnažio i Ante Vučemilović-Šimunović, predsjednik klupske Skupštine. 

Naravno, vrijeme će pokazati može li se NK Osijek doista, nakon niza godina neuspješnog poslovanja što je dovelo do pojave crnih oblaka stečajnog postupka, vratiti tamo gdje je nekad bio.

Bilo kako bilo, dužnost trenera prvoligaške momčadi preuzeo je Tomislav Rukavina, nekadašnji igrač NK Osijek, Dinama i Hajduka, a dosadašnji trener Ivica Kulešević određen je na mjesto sportskog direktora. Novu funkciju dobio je i dojučerašnji kapetan Ivo Smoje koji je objelodanio odluku o kraju karijere. 

«Sve se dogodilo brzo, nisam dvojio jer sam uvjeren da moj matični klub ima dobar igrački kadar i da opstanak u Prvoj hrvatskoj ligi neće doći u pitanje», rekao je Rukavina čiji trenerski opus dosad je zapažen samo kao pomoćnika Krune Jurčića u Dinamu.

Ono što je jučer najavljeno, dobilo je svoju potvrdu u srijedu, na izvanrednoj konferenciji za novinare NK Osijek održanoj u VIP salonu stadiona Gradski vrt. 

Za novog predsjednika osječkog prvoligaša imenovan je Slobodan Tolj, dosadašnji čelnik Nadzornog odbora (čiji je nasljednik na toj dužnosti Darinko Mikulić, nap.a.), dok je potpredsjednik postao Miroslav Kos, sada umirovljenik, koji je svoj trag u nogometu ostavio poglavito kao uspješni predsjednik nekadašnje Omladinske komisije NK Osijek. 

Budući da je, prije nego su se i novi klupski čelnici obratili novinarima, gradonačelnik Ivica Vrkić ustvrdio da je Grad i definitivno preuzeo skrb o NK Osijek te obećao u kratkom vremenskom roku isplatu svih zaostalih primanja nogometnim profesionalcima (pokazujući pritom i virman za prvih 600.000 kuna iz gradskog proračuna, nap.a.), stekao se dojam da bi prvoligaš s Drave, konačno, mogao uploviti u mirnije vode normalnog funkcioniranja što je prisnažio i Ante Vučemilović-Šimunović, predsjednik klupske Skupštine. 

Naravno, vrijeme će pokazati može li se NK Osijek doista, nakon niza godina neuspješnog poslovanja što je dovelo do pojave crnih oblaka stečajnog postupka, vratiti tamo gdje je nekad bio.

Bilo kako bilo, dužnost trenera prvoligaške momčadi preuzeo je Tomislav Rukavina, nekadašnji igrač NK Osijek, Dinama i Hajduka, a dosadašnji trener Ivica Kulešević određen je na mjesto sportskog direktora. Novu funkciju dobio je i dojučerašnji kapetan Ivo Smoje koji je objelodanio odluku o kraju karijere. 

«Sve se dogodilo brzo, nisam dvojio jer sam uvjeren da moj matični klub ima dobar igrački kadar i da opstanak u Prvoj hrvatskoj ligi neće doći u pitanje», rekao je Rukavina čiji trenerski opus dosad je zapažen samo kao pomoćnika Krune Jurčića u Dinamu.
