U srijedu, 21. lipnja u poljskom Krakovu počinju Europske igre koje su za sve najbolje europske boksačice i boksače, pa tako i za hrvatske, najvažnije ovogodišnje natjecanje jer su kvalifikacijske za Olimpijske igre 2024. godine u Parizu.

Na Europskim igrama u Krakovu  boksačka natjecanja odvijat će se samo u olimpijskim kategorijama – u 7 muških i 6 ženskih težinskih kategorija, a na Olimpijskim igrama u Parizu ukupno će se natjecati 248 izabranih koji će se kvalificirati iz cijeloga svijeta – 124 boksača i 124 boksačice.

Hrvatska boksačka reprezentacija u Krakovu će biti dio naše velike olimpijske delegacije sa 131 predstavnikom u 18 sportova, a naši reprezentativci za Krakov putuju u utorak.

Hrvatski boks će na Europskim igrama u Poljskoj predstavljati ukupno osmero reprezentativaca, državnih prvaka u svojim kategorijama s iskustvom i medaljama s najvećih međunarodnih natjecanja

Za plasman na Olimpijske igre u Parizu 2024. godine, svatko od naših osmero predstavnika trebat će na Europskim igrama u Krakovu osvojiti medalju u svojoj kategoriji. Dapače, teškaš Marko Čalić (92 kg) i superteškaš Marko Milun (+92 kg) morat će izboriti finale, jer iz dvije najteže kategorije za OI će se kvalificirati samo po dvojica najboljih.

Tko neće uspjeti izboriti plasman na Olimpijske igre na Europskim igrama u Krakovu, imat će mogućnost sljedeće godine kroz dva turnira svjetskih kvalifikacija.

Izbornik seniora Kristijan Hodak kaže o sastavu muške reprezentacije:

“Na Europskim igrama u Krakovu nastupit ćemo s našim najboljim i najizglednijim kandidatima za plasman na Olimpijske igre. Gabrijel Veočić, europski prvak do 22 godine, s tri pobjede na nedavnom Svjetskom prvenstvu u Taškentu, dokazao se u svjetskom vrhu i najozbiljnije konkurira za nastup na Olimpijskim igrama. Tu su prekaljeni Marko Čalić i Marko Milun, obojica s velikim brojem mečeva i pobjeda na najvišoj razini, pa iskusni Matteo Komadina kojem treba samo malo sreće za uspjeh na najvišoj razini. Petar Krešimir Knežević sa samo 19 godina je najmlađi, ali silno perspektivni boksač koji je kvalitetu dokazao s medaljom na Beogradskom pobjedniku. Očekujemo uspješne nastupe naših reprezentativaca i više od jednog plasmana na Olimpijske igre!”

Supervizor i koordinator Franjo Kristić govori o ženskom dijelu reprezentacije:

“Nikolina Ćaćić izborila je nastup već na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju 2021. kao prva naša boksačica u povijesti i jasno je da očekujemo novi uspjeh. Sara Beram lani je osvojila broncu na Europskom prvenstvu i plasman na OI u Parizu bio bi novi veliki iskorak. Mlada Dea Bolanča borila se lani na Europskom prvenstvu U-22, napreduje kroz svaki novi meč i ne sumnjam da će to povrditi u Krakowu.”

Velika čast iskazana je hrvatskom boksu i time što je Vijeće Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora izabralo olimpijku i doprvakinju Europe U-22 Nikolinu Ćaćić za stjegonošu na svečanosti otvaranja Europskih igara u Krakowu. Nikolina će pod hrvatskim barjakom u svečanom mimohodu povesti sve naše sportašice i sportaše zajedno sa skakačem u vodu Matejom Nevešćaninom.

Na prošlim Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju 2021. godine hrvatski boks dostojno je zastupalo dvoje predstavnika: uz Nikolinu Ćaćić i Luka Plantić koji su svaki izborili po jednu pobjedu i borili se u osmini finala olimpijskog turnira.

U srijedu, 21. lipnja u poljskom Krakovu počinju Europske igre koje su za sve najbolje europske boksačice i boksače, pa tako i za hrvatske, najvažnije ovogodišnje natjecanje jer su kvalifikacijske za Olimpijske igre 2024. godine u Parizu.

Na Europskim igrama u Krakovu  boksačka natjecanja odvijat će se samo u olimpijskim kategorijama – u 7 muških i 6 ženskih težinskih kategorija, a na Olimpijskim igrama u Parizu ukupno će se natjecati 248 izabranih koji će se kvalificirati iz cijeloga svijeta – 124 boksača i 124 boksačice.

Hrvatska boksačka reprezentacija u Krakovu će biti dio naše velike olimpijske delegacije sa 131 predstavnikom u 18 sportova, a naši reprezentativci za Krakov putuju u utorak.

Hrvatski boks će na Europskim igrama u Poljskoj predstavljati ukupno osmero reprezentativaca, državnih prvaka u svojim kategorijama s iskustvom i medaljama s najvećih međunarodnih natjecanja

Za plasman na Olimpijske igre u Parizu 2024. godine, svatko od naših osmero predstavnika trebat će na Europskim igrama u Krakovu osvojiti medalju u svojoj kategoriji. Dapače, teškaš Marko Čalić (92 kg) i superteškaš Marko Milun (+92 kg) morat će izboriti finale, jer iz dvije najteže kategorije za OI će se kvalificirati samo po dvojica najboljih.

Tko neće uspjeti izboriti plasman na Olimpijske igre na Europskim igrama u Krakovu, imat će mogućnost sljedeće godine kroz dva turnira svjetskih kvalifikacija.

Izbornik seniora Kristijan Hodak kaže o sastavu muške reprezentacije:

“Na Europskim igrama u Krakovu nastupit ćemo s našim najboljim i najizglednijim kandidatima za plasman na Olimpijske igre. Gabrijel Veočić, europski prvak do 22 godine, s tri pobjede na nedavnom Svjetskom prvenstvu u Taškentu, dokazao se u svjetskom vrhu i najozbiljnije konkurira za nastup na Olimpijskim igrama. Tu su prekaljeni Marko Čalić i Marko Milun, obojica s velikim brojem mečeva i pobjeda na najvišoj razini, pa iskusni Matteo Komadina kojem treba samo malo sreće za uspjeh na najvišoj razini. Petar Krešimir Knežević sa samo 19 godina je najmlađi, ali silno perspektivni boksač koji je kvalitetu dokazao s medaljom na Beogradskom pobjedniku. Očekujemo uspješne nastupe naših reprezentativaca i više od jednog plasmana na Olimpijske igre!”

Supervizor i koordinator Franjo Kristić govori o ženskom dijelu reprezentacije:

“Nikolina Ćaćić izborila je nastup već na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju 2021. kao prva naša boksačica u povijesti i jasno je da očekujemo novi uspjeh. Sara Beram lani je osvojila broncu na Europskom prvenstvu i plasman na OI u Parizu bio bi novi veliki iskorak. Mlada Dea Bolanča borila se lani na Europskom prvenstvu U-22, napreduje kroz svaki novi meč i ne sumnjam da će to povrditi u Krakowu.”

Velika čast iskazana je hrvatskom boksu i time što je Vijeće Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora izabralo olimpijku i doprvakinju Europe U-22 Nikolinu Ćaćić za stjegonošu na svečanosti otvaranja Europskih igara u Krakowu. Nikolina će pod hrvatskim barjakom u svečanom mimohodu povesti sve naše sportašice i sportaše zajedno sa skakačem u vodu Matejom Nevešćaninom.

Na prošlim Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju 2021. godine hrvatski boks dostojno je zastupalo dvoje predstavnika: uz Nikolinu Ćaćić i Luka Plantić koji su svaki izborili po jednu pobjedu i borili se u osmini finala olimpijskog turnira.

Osam hrvatskih boksača i boksačica ide u Krakov

U srijedu, 21. lipnja u poljskom Krakovu počinju Europske igre koje su za sve najbolje europske boksačice i boksače, pa tako i za hrvatske, najvažnije ovogodišnje natjecanje jer su kvalifikacijske za Olimpijske igre 2024. godine u Parizu.

Na Europskim igrama u Krakovu  boksačka natjecanja odvijat će se samo u olimpijskim kategorijama – u 7 muških i 6 ženskih težinskih kategorija, a na Olimpijskim igrama u Parizu ukupno će se natjecati 248 izabranih koji će se kvalificirati iz cijeloga svijeta – 124 boksača i 124 boksačice.

Hrvatska boksačka reprezentacija u Krakovu će biti dio naše velike olimpijske delegacije sa 131 predstavnikom u 18 sportova, a naši reprezentativci za Krakov putuju u utorak.

Hrvatski boks će na Europskim igrama u Poljskoj predstavljati ukupno osmero reprezentativaca, državnih prvaka u svojim kategorijama s iskustvom i medaljama s najvećih međunarodnih natjecanja
