Pacijenti Dnevne bolnice Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split od 15. listopada dolaze u potpuno obnovljene i novoopremljene prostore. Mjesto je to na kojem se u kratkom periodu realizira dijagnostika i liječenje infektivnih bolesti.
- Broj bolesnika kojima je potreban ovaj oblik izvanbolničkih postupaka iz godine u godinu sve je veći. U protekloj 2022. zabilježeno je preko 10 tisuća dolazaka i obrade kroz Dnevnu bolnicu Klinike za infektologiju što je dvostruko više u odnosu na predpandemijsko razdoblje - poručili su iz KBC-a.

Predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja kaže da je razlog tome sve starija populacija opterećena komorbiditetima, značajan broj imunokompromitiranih bolesnika, prisutnost koronavirusa te povećanje incidencije infekcija uzrokovanih rezistentnim bakterijama.
- U Dnevnoj bolnici se zbrinjavaju bolesnici čije kliničko stanje ne zahtijeva nužno hospitalizaciju u Klinici, ali im je potreban daljnji nadzor i liječenje infektologa. U svakodnevnom radu dnevne bolnice ključna je dobra suradnja sa zavodima za radiologiju, mikrobiologiju i laboratorijsku dijagnostiku u realizaciji rane dijagnoze i pravovremene ciljane terapije - kaže doc. dr. sc. Za različita medicinska stanja sve češće se traži konzultacija infektologa pa Klinika za infektologiju bilježi i porast broja pacijenata na ambulantnom liječenju, pogotovo otkada su otvorene dvije nove ambulante.
Ambulanta za infekcije imunokompromitiranih bolesnika osnovana je zbog potrebe unapređenja izazovne dijagnostike i liječenja infekcija kod rastuće populacije bolesnika narušenog imunološkog sustava. Najčešće su to onkološki, hematološki bolesnici, transplatirani kao i bolesnici na biološkoj terapiji i drugim oblicima imunosupresivneog liječenja.
Ambulanta za urogenitalne i spolno prenosive infekcije namijenjena je pacijentima koji boluju od kompliciranih i ponavljanih urogenitalnih infekcija, posebno kada su one uzrokovane rezistentnim bakterijama. Važan dio djelatnosti nove ambulante je praćenje i liječenje spolno prenosivih infekcija, te je po prvi put u KBC-u Split našim korisnicima dostupna i predekspozicijska anti-HIV profilaksa (PrEP).

PrEP kao nova djelatnost Klinike je preventivna i vrlo učinkovita antivirusna terapija koja, ukoliko se pravilno uzima, ima visoki postotak zaštite od HIV-a.
- Sve do otvaranja ove ambulante korisnici kojima je potrebna ova terapija morali su po nju putovati u Zagreb. Sada im je ona dostupna u našoj Klinici. Važno je naglasiti da smo, u suradnji s našom Informatičkom službom realizirali model kojim je osigurana anonimnost korisnika. Sve što je potrebno je nazvati našu ambulantu i dogovoriti termin pregleda - poručila je infektologinja dr. Irena Jeličić.

Prostore Dnevne bolnice i ambulanti uredio je Klinički bolnički centar Split, a namještaj i oprema donacija je tvrtki Ribola i Henkel koji su prošle godine organizirali akciju prikupljanja sredstava upravo za ovu namjenu.

Pacijenti Dnevne bolnice Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split od 15. listopada dolaze u potpuno obnovljene i novoopremljene prostore. Mjesto je to na kojem se u kratkom periodu realizira dijagnostika i liječenje infektivnih bolesti.
- Broj bolesnika kojima je potreban ovaj oblik izvanbolničkih postupaka iz godine u godinu sve je veći. U protekloj 2022. zabilježeno je preko 10 tisuća dolazaka i obrade kroz Dnevnu bolnicu Klinike za infektologiju što je dvostruko više u odnosu na predpandemijsko razdoblje - poručili su iz KBC-a.

Predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja kaže da je razlog tome sve starija populacija opterećena komorbiditetima, značajan broj imunokompromitiranih bolesnika, prisutnost koronavirusa te povećanje incidencije infekcija uzrokovanih rezistentnim bakterijama.
- U Dnevnoj bolnici se zbrinjavaju bolesnici čije kliničko stanje ne zahtijeva nužno hospitalizaciju u Klinici, ali im je potreban daljnji nadzor i liječenje infektologa. U svakodnevnom radu dnevne bolnice ključna je dobra suradnja sa zavodima za radiologiju, mikrobiologiju i laboratorijsku dijagnostiku u realizaciji rane dijagnoze i pravovremene ciljane terapije - kaže doc. dr. sc. Za različita medicinska stanja sve češće se traži konzultacija infektologa pa Klinika za infektologiju bilježi i porast broja pacijenata na ambulantnom liječenju, pogotovo otkada su otvorene dvije nove ambulante.
Ambulanta za infekcije imunokompromitiranih bolesnika osnovana je zbog potrebe unapređenja izazovne dijagnostike i liječenja infekcija kod rastuće populacije bolesnika narušenog imunološkog sustava. Najčešće su to onkološki, hematološki bolesnici, transplatirani kao i bolesnici na biološkoj terapiji i drugim oblicima imunosupresivneog liječenja.
Ambulanta za urogenitalne i spolno prenosive infekcije namijenjena je pacijentima koji boluju od kompliciranih i ponavljanih urogenitalnih infekcija, posebno kada su one uzrokovane rezistentnim bakterijama. Važan dio djelatnosti nove ambulante je praćenje i liječenje spolno prenosivih infekcija, te je po prvi put u KBC-u Split našim korisnicima dostupna i predekspozicijska anti-HIV profilaksa (PrEP).

PrEP kao nova djelatnost Klinike je preventivna i vrlo učinkovita antivirusna terapija koja, ukoliko se pravilno uzima, ima visoki postotak zaštite od HIV-a.
- Sve do otvaranja ove ambulante korisnici kojima je potrebna ova terapija morali su po nju putovati u Zagreb. Sada im je ona dostupna u našoj Klinici. Važno je naglasiti da smo, u suradnji s našom Informatičkom službom realizirali model kojim je osigurana anonimnost korisnika. Sve što je potrebno je nazvati našu ambulantu i dogovoriti termin pregleda - poručila je infektologinja dr. Irena Jeličić.

Prostore Dnevne bolnice i ambulanti uredio je Klinički bolnički centar Split, a namještaj i oprema donacija je tvrtki Ribola i Henkel koji su prošle godine organizirali akciju prikupljanja sredstava upravo za ovu namjenu.
