Zavidne vještine javnog govora i kritičkog razmišljanja pokazala je splitska ekipa iz Treće gimnazije na Državnom natjecanju u debati, održanom na online platformi Zoom od 26. do 28. studenoga.

Klara Klanac (2.e), Frane Doljanin (3.e) i Ivana Džaja (3.b) naši su zlatni debatanti koji su nakon četiri iscrpljujuće debate među ukupno osam ekipa (četiri iz Splita, Prva, Treća, Četvrta i Peta gimnazija, jedna iz Rijeke i tri iz Zagreba) osvojili prvo mjesto. Treba istaknuti da su u finalu "potukli" jaku ekipu "Bušmana" iz zagrebačke Druge gimnazije, prošlogodišnjih prvaka, no ovaj put učenici splitskog MIOC-a samouvjereno i agrumentirano branili su zadane teze debate.

- Debatirali smo na sljedeće teze: o zabrani pobačaja gdje nam je bila dodijeljena strana afirmacije, kao i za tezu da mediji ne bi trebali objavljivati podatke o rasnoj, vjerskoj ni etničkoj pripadnosti počinitelja zločina, a jedna od tema bila je i da djeca uvijek trebaju biti zahvalna roditeljima. Konačno, dobili smo tezu da škole trebaju promovirati globalno, a ne nacionalno građanstvo, gdje nam je dodijeljena strana negacije - ispričala nam je Klara, koja se u debatu uključila još u 7. razredu, nakon što je gledala parlaonice i debate na televiziji i internetu.

Bez gestikulacije

- Privuklo me to što kroz debate jako puno naučite o nekoj temi koju do sada niste uopće poznavali. S vremenom i trema od javnog istupa nestane, ostaje samo užitak iznošenja argumenata. Osobno me privlači mnogo tema, od škole, pitanja globalizacije, položaja naše države u svijetu, ekologije... Ma nije ni važno koja je tema nego kako joj se pristupi. Onda je svaka zanimljiva - kaže Klara koja ima savjet i našim javnim osobama prilikom javnih istupa:

- Treba pričati bez poštapalica, bez gestikulacije, smireno i samouvjereno, bez zastajkivanja i bez nervoze i agresije, koja je česta kod naših političara. U debati treba naći zlatnu sredinu, odmjerenost i samouvjerenost, argumentiranost... Onda će vas i drugi bolje doživjeti - savjetuje Klara.

Njezin kolega Frane debatira već pet godina. Treme odavno nema, a debatiranje mu pomaže kod formiranja stavova i prezentacijskih vještina.

- Volim debatirati, a posebice me zanimaju ekonomija, politika, školstvo, prirodoslovlje i znanstvene teze. Na nastavi u školi se odista i provodi Škola za život, puno je dinamičnije nego nekad, pa nam i debate pomažu u tome - kaže ovaj budući fizičar. Trećašica Ivana Džaja priznaje da se kroz debatu uče pretvarati da nemaju tremu i postaju samouvjereniji.

- Debatom razvijamo mnogo vještina, ne samo one očite. Učimo se kritički razmišljati te da se sve može sagledati s različitih stajališta. Također je dobar način za razvijanje samopouzdanja i vještina javnog govorenja - veli Ivana.

Debatira više od 1500 djece

Inače, debatni program vodi se kao izvannastavna aktivnost čija je provedba prepoznata i odobrena u svim školama u Hrvatskoj, a debatni turniri, organizirani u suradnji s Agencijom za odgoj i obrazovanje, i ulaze u službeni sustav natjecanja za učenike.

Trenutno je aktivno oko 120 klubova koji okupljaju oko 1500 djece i mladih, a taj broj samo raste, dokazujući da među mlađom populacijom itekako postoji interes za proučavanje društvenih problema i pitanja.

- Debate u Splitu pokrenula je 1994. godine prof. Danka Hrženjak Munivrana, i do danas klubovi imaju svoj kontinuitet. Mi se konkretno nalazimo svake subote po tri puna sata, tijekom kojih učenici istražuju razne teme, imaju domaće zadaće, traže materijale i argumente kako bi dublje razumjeli probleme koji muče naše društvo, te o njima raspravljaju u zadanom formatu.

Primjerice, za finale su imali tek sat vremena da se pripreme za zadane teze - objašnjava nam prof. Kristina Hrga, mentorica debatanata iz MIOC-a, ponosna na svoje mlade govornike u kojima vidi veliki potencijal, jer je riječ o učenicima koje zanima širok spektar tema, a za one nepoznate iskazuju želju da ih prouče i bolje razumiju.

- Kod samog natjecanja bojali smo se kako će se gledati na naš dalmatinski govor, jer nam često suci znaju zamjerati stil govora, poštapalice, gestikulaciju, ali naši debatanti zadivili su suce jer su zaista spremno debatirali na obje strane, afirmacijskoj i negacijskoj - kaže njihova mentorica.

Zavidne vještine javnog govora i kritičkog razmišljanja pokazala je splitska ekipa iz Treće gimnazije na Državnom natjecanju u debati, održanom na online platformi Zoom od 26. do 28. studenoga.

Klara Klanac (2.e), Frane Doljanin (3.e) i Ivana Džaja (3.b) naši su zlatni debatanti koji su nakon četiri iscrpljujuće debate među ukupno osam ekipa (četiri iz Splita, Prva, Treća, Četvrta i Peta gimnazija, jedna iz Rijeke i tri iz Zagreba) osvojili prvo mjesto. Treba istaknuti da su u finalu "potukli" jaku ekipu "Bušmana" iz zagrebačke Druge gimnazije, prošlogodišnjih prvaka, no ovaj put učenici splitskog MIOC-a samouvjereno i agrumentirano branili su zadane teze debate.

- Debatirali smo na sljedeće teze: o zabrani pobačaja gdje nam je bila dodijeljena strana afirmacije, kao i za tezu da mediji ne bi trebali objavljivati podatke o rasnoj, vjerskoj ni etničkoj pripadnosti počinitelja zločina, a jedna od tema bila je i da djeca uvijek trebaju biti zahvalna roditeljima. Konačno, dobili smo tezu da škole trebaju promovirati globalno, a ne nacionalno građanstvo, gdje nam je dodijeljena strana negacije - ispričala nam je Klara, koja se u debatu uključila još u 7. razredu, nakon što je gledala parlaonice i debate na televiziji i internetu.

Bez gestikulacije

- Privuklo me to što kroz debate jako puno naučite o nekoj temi koju do sada niste uopće poznavali. S vremenom i trema od javnog istupa nestane, ostaje samo užitak iznošenja argumenata. Osobno me privlači mnogo tema, od škole, pitanja globalizacije, položaja naše države u svijetu, ekologije... Ma nije ni važno koja je tema nego kako joj se pristupi. Onda je svaka zanimljiva - kaže Klara koja ima savjet i našim javnim osobama prilikom javnih istupa:

- Treba pričati bez poštapalica, bez gestikulacije, smireno i samouvjereno, bez zastajkivanja i bez nervoze i agresije, koja je česta kod naših političara. U debati treba naći zlatnu sredinu, odmjerenost i samouvjerenost, argumentiranost... Onda će vas i drugi bolje doživjeti - savjetuje Klara.

Njezin kolega Frane debatira već pet godina. Treme odavno nema, a debatiranje mu pomaže kod formiranja stavova i prezentacijskih vještina.

- Volim debatirati, a posebice me zanimaju ekonomija, politika, školstvo, prirodoslovlje i znanstvene teze. Na nastavi u školi se odista i provodi Škola za život, puno je dinamičnije nego nekad, pa nam i debate pomažu u tome - kaže ovaj budući fizičar. Trećašica Ivana Džaja priznaje da se kroz debatu uče pretvarati da nemaju tremu i postaju samouvjereniji.

- Debatom razvijamo mnogo vještina, ne samo one očite. Učimo se kritički razmišljati te da se sve može sagledati s različitih stajališta. Također je dobar način za razvijanje samopouzdanja i vještina javnog govorenja - veli Ivana.

Debatira više od 1500 djece

Inače, debatni program vodi se kao izvannastavna aktivnost čija je provedba prepoznata i odobrena u svim školama u Hrvatskoj, a debatni turniri, organizirani u suradnji s Agencijom za odgoj i obrazovanje, i ulaze u službeni sustav natjecanja za učenike.

Trenutno je aktivno oko 120 klubova koji okupljaju oko 1500 djece i mladih, a taj broj samo raste, dokazujući da među mlađom populacijom itekako postoji interes za proučavanje društvenih problema i pitanja.

- Debate u Splitu pokrenula je 1994. godine prof. Danka Hrženjak Munivrana, i do danas klubovi imaju svoj kontinuitet. Mi se konkretno nalazimo svake subote po tri puna sata, tijekom kojih učenici istražuju razne teme, imaju domaće zadaće, traže materijale i argumente kako bi dublje razumjeli probleme koji muče naše društvo, te o njima raspravljaju u zadanom formatu.

Primjerice, za finale su imali tek sat vremena da se pripreme za zadane teze - objašnjava nam prof. Kristina Hrga, mentorica debatanata iz MIOC-a, ponosna na svoje mlade govornike u kojima vidi veliki potencijal, jer je riječ o učenicima koje zanima širok spektar tema, a za one nepoznate iskazuju želju da ih prouče i bolje razumiju.

- Kod samog natjecanja bojali smo se kako će se gledati na naš dalmatinski govor, jer nam često suci znaju zamjerati stil govora, poštapalice, gestikulaciju, ali naši debatanti zadivili su suce jer su zaista spremno debatirali na obje strane, afirmacijskoj i negacijskoj - kaže njihova mentorica.
