U Split stiže Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, osnivač Marijinih obroka, kako bi predstavio svoju knjigu "Baraka koja je nahranila 2 milijuna djece", nadopunjeno izdanje priče o razvoju humanitarne organizacije Marijini obroci koja danas u školama hrani 2,279,941 djece u najsiromašnijim državama svijeta.

Predstavljanje knjige održat će se u srijedu, 5. listopada, u 19 sati u dvorani Hotela Pax u Splitu, a ulaz je besplatan. 

Gosti će imati priliku razgovarati s Magnusom te nabaviti potpisan primjerak knjige za sugeriranu donaciju. Za vrijeme predstavljanja knjige osiguran je prijevod s engleskog jezika.

Sve je počelo 1992. godine kada je MacFarlane-Barrow iz male barake u Dalmallyu tražio donacije za ratom pogođenu Bosnu i Hercegovinu. Ono što je trebala biti jednokratna akcija pretvorilo se u godine pomaganja najpotrebnijima.

Hrvatska udruga Marijini obroci, osnovana u srpnju 2009., dio je međunarodnog projekta "Mary’s Meals" koji ima viziju da svako dijete prima dnevni obrok na svom mjestu obrazovanja. Na taj način djeci se ne spašava samo život, već ih se potiče da uče te dugoročno sebi, svojoj obitelji i zajednici osiguraju bolji život. Njihova je misija omogućiti ljudima da ponude svoj novac, robu, vještine, vrijeme ili molitvu i da takvim uključivanjem pruže pomoć onima koji trpe zbog ekstremnog siromaštva u najsiromašnijim zajednicama svijeta.

"Mary‘s Meals" trenutno hrani više od 2 milijuna i dvjesto tisuća gladne djece na svijetu. Prosječno 132 kune dovoljno je da se jedno dijete nahrani tijekom cijele školske godine. Duša Marijinih obroka su volonteri i volonterke, kako na mjestima prikupljanja pomoći, tako i na mjestima dijeljenja obroka. To im omogućuje da od svake donirane kune barem 93 lipe dođe do krajnjeg cilja – djeteta.

Marijini obroci Hrvatska, zahvaljujući dobroti svojih donatora i podupiratelja, imaju otvorenih 24 školske kuhinje – četiri u Malaviju, pet u Beninu, sedam u Liberiji, jednu u Ekvadoru te sedam u Zambiji u kojima se trenutno hrani 17 769 djece.

U Split stiže Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, osnivač Marijinih obroka, kako bi predstavio svoju knjigu "Baraka koja je nahranila 2 milijuna djece", nadopunjeno izdanje priče o razvoju humanitarne organizacije Marijini obroci koja danas u školama hrani 2,279,941 djece u najsiromašnijim državama svijeta.

Predstavljanje knjige održat će se u srijedu, 5. listopada, u 19 sati u dvorani Hotela Pax u Splitu, a ulaz je besplatan. 

Gosti će imati priliku razgovarati s Magnusom te nabaviti potpisan primjerak knjige za sugeriranu donaciju. Za vrijeme predstavljanja knjige osiguran je prijevod s engleskog jezika.

Sve je počelo 1992. godine kada je MacFarlane-Barrow iz male barake u Dalmallyu tražio donacije za ratom pogođenu Bosnu i Hercegovinu. Ono što je trebala biti jednokratna akcija pretvorilo se u godine pomaganja najpotrebnijima.

Hrvatska udruga Marijini obroci, osnovana u srpnju 2009., dio je međunarodnog projekta "Mary’s Meals" koji ima viziju da svako dijete prima dnevni obrok na svom mjestu obrazovanja. Na taj način djeci se ne spašava samo život, već ih se potiče da uče te dugoročno sebi, svojoj obitelji i zajednici osiguraju bolji život. Njihova je misija omogućiti ljudima da ponude svoj novac, robu, vještine, vrijeme ili molitvu i da takvim uključivanjem pruže pomoć onima koji trpe zbog ekstremnog siromaštva u najsiromašnijim zajednicama svijeta.

"Mary‘s Meals" trenutno hrani više od 2 milijuna i dvjesto tisuća gladne djece na svijetu. Prosječno 132 kune dovoljno je da se jedno dijete nahrani tijekom cijele školske godine. Duša Marijinih obroka su volonteri i volonterke, kako na mjestima prikupljanja pomoći, tako i na mjestima dijeljenja obroka. To im omogućuje da od svake donirane kune barem 93 lipe dođe do krajnjeg cilja – djeteta.

Marijini obroci Hrvatska, zahvaljujući dobroti svojih donatora i podupiratelja, imaju otvorenih 24 školske kuhinje – četiri u Malaviju, pet u Beninu, sedam u Liberiji, jednu u Ekvadoru te sedam u Zambiji u kojima se trenutno hrani 17 769 djece.

U Split stiže Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, osnivač Marijinih obroka, kako bi predstavio svoju knjigu "Baraka koja je nahranila 2 milijuna djece", nadopunjeno izdanje priče o razvoju humanitarne organizacije Marijini obroci koja danas u školama hrani 2,279,941 djece u najsiromašnijim državama svijeta.

Predstavljanje knjige održat će se u srijedu, 5. listopada, u 19 sati u dvorani Hotela Pax u Splitu, a ulaz je besplatan. 

Gosti će imati priliku razgovarati s Magnusom te nabaviti potpisan primjerak knjige za sugeriranu donaciju. Za vrijeme predstavljanja knjige osiguran je prijevod s engleskog jezika.

Sve je počelo 1992. godine kada je MacFarlane-Barrow iz male barake u Dalmallyu tražio donacije za ratom pogođenu Bosnu i Hercegovinu. Ono što je trebala biti jednokratna akcija pretvori...
