U Split je došao uređaj koji je, moglo bi se reći, donio revoluciju u liječenju depresije, PTSP-ija, opsesivno-komplulzivnih poremećaja, tinitusa (zujanje u ušima) i niza neuroloških poremećaja. Radi se o uređaju koji služi za transmagnetsku stimulaciju mozga (TMS).
- Radi se o prvom takvom uređaju u Dalmaciji, odnosno južno od Svetog Roka. Ima ih nekoliko u javno zdravstvenim ustanovama u Zagrebu, a ovo je prvi privatno kupljeni takav uređaj u Hrvatskoj.
Zbog čega je on bitan za liječenje psihijatrijskih i neuroloških bolesnika? Iz jednostavnog razloga jer po svim natpisima u svjetskoj medicinskoj literaturi daje izvanredne rezultate u liječenju. TMS metoda liječenja se preporuča u svim svjetskim smjernicama za liječenje spomenutih bolesti, kazao nam je prihijatar doc. dr. sc. Boran Uglešić.
TMS metoda liječenja funkcionira na bazi magnetskog polja koje potiče reakciju mozga kod oboljele osobe.
- Uz pomoć magnetskog polja potiče se u mozgu izlučivanje serotonina i dopamina, a ta činjenica ima za posljedicu da se pacijent osjeća bolje. Ova metoda liječenja postoji u svijetu posljednjih desetak godina i smatra se revolucijom u liječenju psihijatrijskih i neuroloških pacijenata, kazuje dr. Uglešić.
Najbolji protiv depresija
TMS metoda se provodi, paralelno sa uzimanjem prepisane farmakoterapije, dakle lijekova.
- TMS metoda je apsolutno bezbolna, bez ikakvih nuspojava kod pacijenata. Jedan tretman, a ima ih ukupno 20, kroz 20 radnih dana, traje pola sata. Pacijent legne na ležaj, dobije svojevrsnu "kapu", koju naravno stavlja na glavu i u tom ležećem položaju bude pola sata. Za to vrijeme može gledati TV, slušati glazbu, opuštati se. Kroz to vrijeme magnetska polja, potpuno bezbolno, bez osjećaja nelagode, stimuliraju određene dijelove mozga.
Odmah nakon terapije pacijent može nastaviti najnormalnije živjeti, funkcionirati, isto kao da nikada i nije bio na terapiji, kazuje dr. Uglešić.
Najbolji rezultati u liječenju su kod pacijenata koji boluju od depresije, a takvih je u našem društvu i našim životima, nažalost sve više.
- I to kod onih pacijenata koji nisu dobro reagirali na terapiju antidepresiva ili na onu skupinu pacijenata koji sa lijekovima nisu postigli potpuni i željeni učinak. TMS metoda liječenja daje 75 postotni uspjeh u liječenju depresija. To nisu "šuplje priče" već tako govore natpisi u recezentnoj svjetskoj literaturi, kazuje dr. Uglešić.
Depresija je vrlo raširena bolest, posebno u zadnja dva desetljeća, koja tijekom života barem jednom pogađa svakoga sedmog čovjeka. Ta bolest izaziva velike zdravstvene probleme, a ne tako rijetko zna dovesti i do samoubojstva.
Antidepresivi su prva linija u liječenju od depresije, no oni nekome brzo pomognu, a nekome nikada ne pomognu. Kada je u pitanju slučaj depresije, gdje antidepresivi nisu dali željeni učinak, psihijatri mijenjaju terapiju.
Svakako, valja nepomenuti da je od pomoći i psihoterapija, koja je nažalost manje učinkovita od lijekova i to posebice kod nekih težih slučajeva depresije.
Moždani udari
U medicini je odavno priznato da je elektrokonvulzivna terapija (ECT), stimulacija mozga električnom strujom putem elektroda, najdjelotvornija opcija kod najtežih slučajeva depresije.
Iako ova metoda ima odlične rezultate, liječnici je nerado propisuju zbog neželjenih učinaka, od kojih se ističu konfuzija i privremeni gubitak dijela pamćenja.
Stoga su psihijatri (struka) i pacijenti dugo čekali prihvatljiviju alternativu elektrokonvulzivnoj terapiji i dočekali je u transmagnetskoj stimulaciji mozga (TMS).
- U 20 dana, koliko traje tretman TMS-om, osoba oboljela od depresije bi trebala osjetiti povoljan učinak. To bi se poboljšanje trebalo osjetiti već mjesec dana nakon završetka terapije. Kod tinitusa (zujanja u ušima) ova metoda liječenja pokazuje znatna klinička poboljšanja, kao i kod stanja nakon moždanih udara. U slučaju dobrog i povoljnog odgovora preporučuje se i terapija održavanja u puno kraćem intezitetu, kazao nam je dr. Uglešić.
Pacijent podvrgnut TMS-u, prema pisanju svjetske medicinske literature osjeća znatna poboljšanja svog općeg zdravstvenog stanja.
- Kod pacijenta se pojavljuje bolje raspoloženje, bolja fukcionalnost, okupiranost, odnosno zainteresiranost svakodnevnim životom i zaista možemo govoriti o velikom koraku naprijed u liječenju depresije i ostalih gore spomenutih bolesti, zaključuje dr. Uglešić.

U Split je došao uređaj koji je, moglo bi se reći, donio revoluciju u liječenju depresije, PTSP-ija, opsesivno-komplulzivnih poremećaja, tinitusa (zujanje u ušima) i niza neuroloških poremećaja. Radi se o uređaju koji služi za transmagnetsku stimulaciju mozga (TMS).
- Radi se o prvom takvom uređaju u Dalmaciji, odnosno južno od Svetog Roka. Ima ih nekoliko u javno zdravstvenim ustanovama u Zagrebu, a ovo je prvi privatno kupljeni takav uređaj u Hrvatskoj.
Zbog čega je on bitan za liječenje psihijatrijskih i neuroloških bolesnika? Iz jednostavnog razloga jer po svim natpisima u svjetskoj medicinskoj literaturi daje izvanredne rezultate u liječenju. TMS metoda liječenja se preporuča u svim svjetskim smjernicama za liječenje spomenutih bolesti, kazao nam je prihijatar doc. dr. sc. Boran Uglešić.
TMS metoda liječenja funkcionira na bazi magnetskog polja koje potiče reakciju mozga kod oboljele osobe.
- Uz pomoć magnetskog polja potiče se u mozgu izlučivanje serotonina i dopamina, a ta činjenica ima za posljedicu da se pacijent osjeća bolje. Ova metoda liječenja postoji u svijetu posljednjih desetak godina i smatra se revolucijom u liječenju psihijatrijskih i neuroloških pacijenata, kazuje dr. Uglešić.
Najbolji protiv depresija
TMS metoda se provodi, paralelno sa uzimanjem prepisane farmakoterapije, dakle lijekova.
- TMS metoda je apsolutno bezbolna, bez ikakvih nuspojava kod pacijenata. Jedan tretman, a ima ih ukupno 20, kroz 20 radnih dana, traje pola sata. Pacijent legne na ležaj, dobije svojevrsnu "kapu", koju naravno stavlja na glavu i u tom ležećem položaju bude pola sata. Za to vrijeme može gledati TV, slušati glazbu, opuštati se. Kroz to vrijeme magnetska polja, potpuno bezbolno, bez osjećaja nelagode, stimuliraju određene dijelove mozga.
Odmah nakon terapije pacijent može nastaviti najnormalnije živjeti, funkcionirati, isto kao da nikada i nije bio na terapiji, kazuje dr. Uglešić.
Najbolji rezultati u liječenju su kod pacijenata koji boluju od depresije, a takvih je u našem društvu i našim životima, nažalost sve više.
- I to kod onih pacijenata koji nisu dobro reagirali na terapiju antidepresiva ili na onu skupinu pacijenata koji sa lijekovima nisu postigli potpuni i željeni učinak. TMS metoda liječenja daje 75 postotni uspjeh u liječenju depresija. To nisu "šuplje priče" već tako govore natpisi u recezentnoj svjetskoj literaturi, kazuje dr. Uglešić.
Depresija je vrlo raširena bolest, posebno u zadnja dva desetljeća, koja tijekom života barem jednom pogađa svakoga sedmog čovjeka. Ta bolest izaziva velike zdravstvene probleme, a ne tako rijetko zna dovesti i do samoubojstva.
Antidepresivi su prva linija u liječenju od depresije, no oni nekome brzo pomognu, a nekome nikada ne pomognu. Kada je u pitanju slučaj depresije, gdje antidepresivi nisu dali željeni učinak, psihijatri mijenjaju terapiju.
Svakako, valja nepomenuti da je od pomoći i psihoterapija, koja je nažalost manje učinkovita od lijekova i to posebice kod nekih težih slučajeva depresije.
Moždani udari
U medicini je odavno priznato da je elektrokonvulzivna terapija (ECT), stimulacija mozga električnom strujom putem elektroda, najdjelotvornija opcija kod najtežih slučajeva depresije.
Iako ova metoda ima odlične rezultate, liječnici je nerado propisuju zbog neželjenih učinaka, od kojih se ističu konfuzija i privremeni gubitak dijela pamćenja.
Stoga su psihijatri (struka) i pacijenti dugo čekali prihvatljiviju alternativu elektrokonvulzivnoj terapiji i dočekali je u transmagnetskoj stimulaciji mozga (TMS).
- U 20 dana, koliko traje tretman TMS-om, osoba oboljela od depresije bi trebala osjetiti povoljan učinak. To bi se poboljšanje trebalo osjetiti već mjesec dana nakon završetka terapije. Kod tinitusa (zujanja u ušima) ova metoda liječenja pokazuje znatna klinička poboljšanja, kao i kod stanja nakon moždanih udara. U slučaju dobrog i povoljnog odgovora preporučuje se i terapija održavanja u puno kraćem intezitetu, kazao nam je dr. Uglešić.
Pacijent podvrgnut TMS-u, prema pisanju svjetske medicinske literature osjeća znatna poboljšanja svog općeg zdravstvenog stanja.
- Kod pacijenta se pojavljuje bolje raspoloženje, bolja fukcionalnost, okupiranost, odnosno zainteresiranost svakodnevnim životom i zaista možemo govoriti o velikom koraku naprijed u liječenju depresije i ostalih gore spomenutih bolesti, zaključuje dr. Uglešić.
