Paul Bradbury, najčitaniji bloger iz Hrvatske na engleskom jeziku i jedan od najboljih promotora hrvatskog turizma, koji se prije više godina s obitelji s Hvara preselio u Varaždinsku županiju, bliže poslovno orijentiranom Zagrebu, na svom portalu Total Croatia News objavio je tekst u kojem je pohvalio promjene u radu "Jadrolinije".

U tekstu naslova "Dalmacija se mijenja – ‘Jadrolinija‘ ulazi u 21. stoljeće", naime, opisao je promjene vezane za ukrcavanje vozila na trajekte. 

- Travanj u Dalmaciji i Uskrs na Hvaru među dvije su najveće radosti koje nudi ova prekrasna zemlja – napomenuo je u uvodu svog teksta.

Navodi da se Dalmaciji ništa ne treba žuriti i da stvari funkcioniraju bez previše pažnje na službene detalje. Napominje da se to posebno odnosilo na ‘Jadrolinijine‘ trajekte, pogotovo ako ste domaći. Iako je uvijek kupovao kartu po punoj cijeni, bilo je prilika da je doslovno trčao na trajekt ili katamaran dok su se vrata zatvarala i tada nije bilo dovoljno vremena da kupi kartu. To mu nikad nije bio problem jer bi djelatniku "Jadrolinije" dao novac za kartu i dodao iznos "za kavu".  Nije znao je li taj novac otišao u blagajnu, ali je bio sretan što je stigao na trajekt i platio put. 

- Za razliku od jednog splitskog građevinara kojeg sam poznavao, koji je jednom tjedno dolazio s kamionom punim materijala, ubacio čovjeku 20 kuna i prošao praktički besplatno – napisao je Paul Bradbury.

Umalo ostao u Splitu

No, Jadrolinija se informatizirala.

Za poznatog blogera je Uskrs na Hvaru, odnosno u Jelsi, posebno vrijeme, s procesijom Za Križem koja se održava u noći na Veliki četvrtak s početkom u 22 sata. Uz neizvjesnost katamarana, jedina sigurna oklada za dolazak na otok bila je, navodi, vožnja trajektom iz Splita za Stari Grad u 14.30 sati, što traje dva sata. Iz Zagreba je krenuo u 7.15 sati, s obitelji je stigao na trajektni terminal u 11.15 sati, više od 3 sata prije polaska. Ispred njih je bilo samo 6 automobila. Kad je živio na Hvaru, utovar automobila bio je strogo po principu tko prvi dođe. Bio je zadovoljan. No, kada je otišao kupiti karte, ostao je šokiran kad mu je e rečeno da, dok djeca mogu ući kao pješaci, on mora čekati trajekt u 20.30 sati što mu je bilo prekasno za povorku, jer je trajekt u 14.30 sati bio  potpuno rasprodan.

Nije znao da prije par godina promijenjen način prodaje karata. Sada se karte mogu rezervirati online. No, mogao je čekati ispred trakta koji kreće u 14.30 sati, za slučaj  da se ne pojave svi oni koji su kupili karte. Pokazao je karte osobi koja ih je provjeravala, mahnuli su mu da može ući. No, onda mu je rečeno da postoji problem s njegovom kartom  i da mora sići s tog trajekta jer je rezervirao kartu za onaj kasniji. Poslušao je upute.

Kasnije se ipak ponovo ukrcao u trajekt za 14.30 sati jer nisu došli neki automobili koji su imali karte. Kaže da se osjećao zadovoljno što je takva razina kontrole došla u "Jadroliniju", ali s trunkom tuge što nestaje mali dio starih dalmatinskih običaja. Ipak, pita se kako će to funkcionirati u sezoni po vrućini, kada će turist koji uđe s kasnijom kartom pokušavati izboriti se za ostanak. Jer ukrcavanje trajekata u špici sezone ionako je dovoljno stresno.

Paul Bradbury, najčitaniji bloger iz Hrvatske na engleskom jeziku i jedan od najboljih promotora hrvatskog turizma, koji se prije više godina s obitelji s Hvara preselio u Varaždinsku županiju, bliže poslovno orijentiranom Zagrebu, na svom portalu Total Croatia News objavio je tekst u kojem je pohvalio promjene u radu "Jadrolinije".

U tekstu naslova "Dalmacija se mijenja – ‘Jadrolinija‘ ulazi u 21. stoljeće", naime, opisao je promjene vezane za ukrcavanje vozila na trajekte. 

- Travanj u Dalmaciji i Uskrs na Hvaru među dvije su najveće radosti koje nudi ova prekrasna zemlja – napomenuo je u uvodu svog teksta.

Navodi da se Dalmaciji ništa ne treba žuriti i da stvari funkcioniraju bez previše pažnje na službene detalje. Napominje da se to posebno odnosilo na ‘Jadrolinijine‘ trajekte, pogotovo ako ste domaći. Iako je uvijek kupovao kartu po punoj cijeni, bilo je prilika da je doslovno trčao na trajekt ili katamaran dok su se vrata zatvarala i tada nije bilo dovoljno vremena da kupi kartu. To mu nikad nije bio problem jer bi djelatniku "Jadrolinije" dao novac za kartu i dodao iznos "za kavu".  Nije znao je li taj novac otišao u blagajnu, ali je bio sretan što je stigao na trajekt i platio put. 

- Za razliku od jednog splitskog građevinara kojeg sam poznavao, koji je jednom tjedno dolazio s kamionom punim materijala, ubacio čovjeku 20 kuna i prošao praktički besplatno – napisao je Paul Bradbury.

Umalo ostao u Splitu

No, Jadrolinija se informatizirala.

Za poznatog blogera je Uskrs na Hvaru, odnosno u Jelsi, posebno vrijeme, s procesijom Za Križem koja se održava u noći na Veliki četvrtak s početkom u 22 sata. Uz neizvjesnost katamarana, jedina sigurna oklada za dolazak na otok bila je, navodi, vožnja trajektom iz Splita za Stari Grad u 14.30 sati, što traje dva sata. Iz Zagreba je krenuo u 7.15 sati, s obitelji je stigao na trajektni terminal u 11.15 sati, više od 3 sata prije polaska. Ispred njih je bilo samo 6 automobila. Kad je živio na Hvaru, utovar automobila bio je strogo po principu tko prvi dođe. Bio je zadovoljan. No, kada je otišao kupiti karte, ostao je šokiran kad mu je e rečeno da, dok djeca mogu ući kao pješaci, on mora čekati trajekt u 20.30 sati što mu je bilo prekasno za povorku, jer je trajekt u 14.30 sati bio  potpuno rasprodan.

Nije znao da prije par godina promijenjen način prodaje karata. Sada se karte mogu rezervirati online. No, mogao je čekati ispred trakta koji kreće u 14.30 sati, za slučaj  da se ne pojave svi oni koji su kupili karte. Pokazao je karte osobi koja ih je provjeravala, mahnuli su mu da može ući. No, onda mu je rečeno da postoji problem s njegovom kartom  i da mora sići s tog trajekta jer je rezervirao kartu za onaj kasniji. Poslušao je upute.

Kasnije se ipak ponovo ukrcao u trajekt za 14.30 sati jer nisu došli neki automobili koji su imali karte. Kaže da se osjećao zadovoljno što je takva razina kontrole došla u "Jadroliniju", ali s trunkom tuge što nestaje mali dio starih dalmatinskih običaja. Ipak, pita se kako će to funkcionirati u sezoni po vrućini, kada će turist koji uđe s kasnijom kartom pokušavati izboriti se za ostanak. Jer ukrcavanje trajekata u špici sezone ionako je dovoljno stresno.
