Svake se godine 11. travnja obilježava Svjetski dan Parkinsonove bolesti. Prema priručniku bolesti, to je “progresivan poremećaj centralnog živčanog sustava” ili, laički rečeno, “drhtajuća paraliza”. Većina građana će spomenutu bolest povezati s drhtanjem ruku, kao i s poznatim i slavnim imenima poput Muhammada Alija ili Michael J. Foxa, koje ova dijagnoza, nažalost, nije zaobišla.

Danas u Hrvatskoj od spomenutog poremećaja boluje oko 15 tisuća ljudi. Oni se liječe u posebnim centrima u sklopu kliničkih bolničkih centara, s time da je posljednji otvoren u našem gradu 2018. godine. Iako smo očekivali upoznati goste naše današnje priče u nekom uređenom prostoru ili centru za rehabilitaciju, oni su nas dočekali – u Taekwando klubu “Galeb” na splitskim Gripama. Prizor koji nas je začudio na prvu već je dao odgovor na glavni problem s kojim se suočavaju osobe oboljele od Parkinsonove bolesti, a to je nedostatak odgovarajućeg prostora u gradu za rehabilitaciju i terapiju.

Na pitanje zašto je to tako, odgovor nam je dala Ana Lešina, fizioterapeutkinja i volonterka koja već 9 godina svake subote radi i vježba s polaznicima. U grupi je trenutno njih 12, zbog skučenosti prostora i činjenice da je Ana jedina volonterka koja radi s njima, broj im je ograničen. Za sada to je jedina grupa u Splitu koja zajedno vježba u sklopu rehabilitacije s obzirom na činjenicu da Parkinsonovu bolest do danas Ministarstvo zdravstva još nije uvrstilo na listu za stacionarno liječenje. Iako je obećanja bilo, od ideje do realizacije ni do danas – ništa.

- Do liječenja i rehabilitacije dolazi se tek kad je kasno, odnosno u slučaju frakture ili poremećenog živca - kazala nam je Ana, ističući kako je najteže bilo za vrijeme pandemije. Zbog komorbiditeta osoba s Parkinsonovom bolešću, koje su u najvećem broju i starije životne dobi, nažalost, izgubili i su neke od polaznika.

Za razliku od rehabilitacije, lijekovi za Parkinsonovu bolest su dostupni te u tom pogledu Hrvatska ne zaostaje mnogo za drugim zemljama članicama EU-a ili npr. SAD-a. Riječ je o jako skupim lijekovima i terapijama koji se moraju mijenjati svako malo jer s vremenom raste imunost tijela na njih. Stoga u današnjoj ponudi postoje tablete, flasteri, gelovi i tekući lijekovi, čija cijena na stranicama HALMED-a, poput Duodopa l’intestinalnoga gela, zna doći i do 700 eura! I to samo za tjednu terapiju! Cijena privatne rehabilitacije za većinu je previsoka, a u bolnicama se predugo čeka na red - ističu nam polaznici grupa.

Dok se ne pronađe rješenje, mali, ali sređeni prostori “Galeba” za sada su jedino rješenje za ovu veselu grupu od 12 polaznika. A zahvaljujući velikom srcu Ane Lešine i Mladena Tomića, predsjednika kluba, ništa im neće nedostajati. Jer kako su i sami rekli, od države ili grada – rješenja za njih nema. Možda se nešto i promijeni do iduće godine.

Svake se godine 11. travnja obilježava Svjetski dan Parkinsonove bolesti. Prema priručniku bolesti, to je “progresivan poremećaj centralnog živčanog sustava” ili, laički rečeno, “drhtajuća paraliza”. Većina građana će spomenutu bolest povezati s drhtanjem ruku, kao i s poznatim i slavnim imenima poput Muhammada Alija ili Michael J. Foxa, koje ova dijagnoza, nažalost, nije zaobišla.

Danas u Hrvatskoj od spomenutog poremećaja boluje oko 15 tisuća ljudi. Oni se liječe u posebnim centrima u sklopu kliničkih bolničkih centara, s time da je posljednji otvoren u našem gradu 2018. godine. Iako smo očekivali upoznati goste naše današnje priče u nekom uređenom prostoru ili centru za rehabilitaciju, oni su nas dočekali – u Taekwando klubu “Galeb” na splitskim Gripama. Prizor koji nas je začudio na prvu već je dao odgovor na glavni problem s kojim se suočavaju osobe oboljele od Parkinsonove bolesti, a to je nedostatak odgovarajućeg prostora u gradu za rehabilitaciju i terapiju.

Na pitanje zašto je to tako, odgovor nam je dala Ana Lešina, fizioterapeutkinja i volonterka koja već 9 godina svake subote radi i vježba s polaznicima. U grupi je trenutno njih 12, zbog skučenosti prostora i činjenice da je Ana jedina volonterka koja radi s njima, broj im je ograničen. Za sada to je jedina grupa u Splitu koja zajedno vježba u sklopu rehabilitacije s obzirom na činjenicu da Parkinsonovu bolest do danas Ministarstvo zdravstva još nije uvrstilo na listu za stacionarno liječenje. Iako je obećanja bilo, od ideje do realizacije ni do danas – ništa.

- Do liječenja i rehabilitacije dolazi se tek kad je kasno, odnosno u slučaju frakture ili poremećenog živca - kazala nam je Ana, ističući kako je najteže bilo za vrijeme pandemije. Zbog komorbiditeta osoba s Parkinsonovom bolešću, koje su u najvećem broju i starije životne dobi, nažalost, izgubili i su neke od polaznika.

Za razliku od rehabilitacije, lijekovi za Parkinsonovu bolest su dostupni te u tom pogledu Hrvatska ne zaostaje mnogo za drugim zemljama članicama EU-a ili npr. SAD-a. Riječ je o jako skupim lijekovima i terapijama koji se moraju mijenjati svako malo jer s vremenom raste imunost tijela na njih. Stoga u današnjoj ponudi postoje tablete, flasteri, gelovi i tekući lijekovi, čija cijena na stranicama HALMED-a, poput Duodopa l’intestinalnoga gela, zna doći i do 700 eura! I to samo za tjednu terapiju! Cijena privatne rehabilitacije za većinu je previsoka, a u bolnicama se predugo čeka na red - ističu nam polaznici grupa.

Dok se ne pronađe rješenje, mali, ali sređeni prostori “Galeba” za sada su jedino rješenje za ovu veselu grupu od 12 polaznika. A zahvaljujući velikom srcu Ane Lešine i Mladena Tomića, predsjednika kluba, ništa im neće nedostajati. Jer kako su i sami rekli, od države ili grada – rješenja za njih nema. Možda se nešto i promijeni do iduće godine.
