Akcija zbrinjavanja božićnih drvaca u izvedbi Udruge "Permakultura Dalmacija" ovih je dana uspješno realizirana pretvaranjem odbačenih drvaca u vrijednu sirovinu.

U akciji je surađivala i Udruga za prirodu, okoliš i održivi razvoj Sunce čije su zaposlenice i volonterke sudjelovale od početka do kraja akcije, kao i kroz cijeli projekt "Školski botanički vrt mediteranskog bilja" koji već godinu dana zajedničkim snagama provode dvije spomenute udruge.

Božićni borovi koji su do nekidan u splitske domove unosili blagdanski ugođaj, usitnjeni su uz pomoć sjeckalice, a dobiveni materijal iskorišten je za nasipanje putova među gredicama, te kao malč za voćke, odnosno vrijedna sirovina za kompostiranje..

Kako doznajemo, cilj akcije je bio pokazati kako otpad može dobiti korisnu namjenu te građanima omogućiti da na ovaj način iskoriste svoja božićna drvca.

- Kao dodatni benefit akcije, u dvorištu OŠ "Skalice" uređene su dvije od planiranih šest vrtnih gredica, kojima će svrhu dati učenici ove osmoljetke - navode komunalci, uz zahvale svima koji su donijeli svoja drvca i sudjelovali u radu.

Akcija zbrinjavanja božićnih drvaca u izvedbi Udruge "Permakultura Dalmacija" ovih je dana uspješno realizirana pretvaranjem odbačenih drvaca u vrijednu sirovinu.

U akciji je surađivala i Udruga za prirodu, okoliš i održivi razvoj Sunce čije su zaposlenice i volonterke sudjelovale od početka do kraja akcije, kao i kroz cijeli projekt "Školski botanički vrt mediteranskog bilja" koji već godinu dana zajedničkim snagama provode dvije spomenute udruge.

Božićni borovi koji su do nekidan u splitske domove unosili blagdanski ugođaj, usitnjeni su uz pomoć sjeckalice, a dobiveni materijal iskorišten je za nasipanje putova među gredicama, te kao malč za voćke, odnosno vrijedna sirovina za kompostiranje..

Kako doznajemo, cilj akcije je bio pokazati kako otpad može dobiti korisnu namjenu te građanima omogućiti da na ovaj način iskoriste svoja božićna drvca.

- Kao dodatni benefit akcije, u dvorištu OŠ "Skalice" uređene su dvije od planiranih šest vrtnih gredica, kojima će svrhu dati učenici ove osmoljetke - navode komunalci, uz zahvale svima koji su donijeli svoja drvca i sudjelovali u radu.
