Približava se nova turistička sezona, a hotel Marjan u nju ulazi u istom nakaradnom izadnju kao i posljednjih petnaestak godina. Izvan funkcije je, praktički, od 2006. godine kad ga je kupio poduzetnik Željko Kerum. Nakon stečajnog postupka ga je 2017. godine kupila rovinjska Adris grupa, koja ga planira u potpunosti srušiti. 

Po dosadašnjim najavama, hotel će se smanjiti za oko 6,5 tisuća kvadrata, čime će se nastojati približiti izvornom obliku iz šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Usput će se pokušati neutralizirati posljedice nikad dovršene obnove otprije petnaestak godina, kada je projektant bio Jerko Rošin.

U sklopu toga će se uklonit dva velika hotelska aneksa, koja su nazivana apartmanima, a svojedobno se špekuliralo da će se oni prenamijeniti u stanove. Navodno, neće više ni biti staklene fasade koja je odskalala od okolišne vizure, a nova bi trebala pratiti originalne zamisli prilikom prvotnog projektiranja Zapadne obale, što uključuje i boju kamena. Trebalo bi se formirati i veliko unutrašnje dvorište, odnosno atrij. 

Hotel Marjan, nekadašnji ponos splitskog turizma, prije šesnaest godina je kupljen je za 170 milijuna kuna, što je bilo trostruko više od prvotno tražene cijene. Nakon što je obećana grandiozna obnova, sklopljen je i ugovor s lancem Hilton. No, a kao što je općepoznato, ova investicija je bila katalizator za, uvjetno rečeno, krah poslovnog carstva dinastije Kerum.

Adria Resorts je koncem 2017. godine od austrijske Heta Asset Resolution grupe otkupila potraživanja nad hotelom Marjan. Prethodno je isto učinila s potraživanjima nad hotelskim aneksima te tražbinama 72 bivša radnika hotela. Marjan je koncem 2019. na elektroničkoj dražbi otkupila prijebojem za 3/4 procijenjene vrijednosti, odnosno za 324 milijuna kuna. Preostali vjerovnici ostali su kratkih rukava.

Upitali smo Adris grupu za najnovije planove oko hotela i dinamiku radova kojim će on biti stavljen u funkciju. Poručili su da je riječ je o zahtjevnom projektu koji će pridonijeti daljnjoj turističkoj afirmaciji Splita i potvrditi Adris kao vodeću hrvatsku kompaniju u luksuznom turizmu. Što se tiče same rekonstrukcije, njihova želja je temeljito obnoviti hotel Marjan i pridružiti ga skupini Adrisovih luksuznih hotela (Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, Monte Mulini, Lone, Hilton u Dubrovniku…).

Također su nam potvrdili informaciju da, u suradnji s gradom Splitom i mjerodavnim ustanovama, dovršavaju potrebnu dokumentaciju za obnovu hotela Marjan, nakon čega će započeti i radovi na samom objektu. O pojedinostima samog projekta (arhitektonskom rješenju, kapacitetima, sadržaju…), na kojemu rade 3LHD i glasoviti arhitekt Piero Lissoni, pravodobno će, kažu, izvijestiti najširu javnost.

Približava se nova turistička sezona, a hotel Marjan u nju ulazi u istom nakaradnom izadnju kao i posljednjih petnaestak godina. Izvan funkcije je, praktički, od 2006. godine kad ga je kupio poduzetnik Željko Kerum. Nakon stečajnog postupka ga je 2017. godine kupila rovinjska Adris grupa, koja ga planira u potpunosti srušiti. 

Po dosadašnjim najavama, hotel će se smanjiti za oko 6,5 tisuća kvadrata, čime će se nastojati približiti izvornom obliku iz šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Usput će se pokušati neutralizirati posljedice nikad dovršene obnove otprije petnaestak godina, kada je projektant bio Jerko Rošin.

U sklopu toga će se uklonit dva velika hotelska aneksa, koja su nazivana apartmanima, a svojedobno se špekuliralo da će se oni prenamijeniti u stanove. Navodno, neće više ni biti staklene fasade koja je odskalala od okolišne vizure, a nova bi trebala pratiti originalne zamisli prilikom prvotnog projektiranja Zapadne obale, što uključuje i boju kamena. Trebalo bi se formirati i veliko unutrašnje dvorište, odnosno atrij. 

Hotel Marjan, nekadašnji ponos splitskog turizma, prije šesnaest godina je kupljen je za 170 milijuna kuna, što je bilo trostruko više od prvotno tražene cijene. Nakon što je obećana grandiozna obnova, sklopljen je i ugovor s lancem Hilton. No, a kao što je općepoznato, ova investicija je bila katalizator za, uvjetno rečeno, krah poslovnog carstva dinastije Kerum.

Adria Resorts je koncem 2017. godine od austrijske Heta Asset Resolution grupe otkupila potraživanja nad hotelom Marjan. Prethodno je isto učinila s potraživanjima nad hotelskim aneksima te tražbinama 72 bivša radnika hotela. Marjan je koncem 2019. na elektroničkoj dražbi otkupila prijebojem za 3/4 procijenjene vrijednosti, odnosno za 324 milijuna kuna. Preostali vjerovnici ostali su kratkih rukava.

Upitali smo Adris grupu za najnovije planove oko hotela i dinamiku radova kojim će on biti stavljen u funkciju. Poručili su da je riječ je o zahtjevnom projektu koji će pridonijeti daljnjoj turističkoj afirmaciji Splita i potvrditi Adris kao vodeću hrvatsku kompaniju u luksuznom turizmu. Što se tiče same rekonstrukcije, njihova želja je temeljito obnoviti hotel Marjan i pridružiti ga skupini Adrisovih luksuznih hotela (Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, Monte Mulini, Lone, Hilton u Dubrovniku…).

Također su nam potvrdili informaciju da, u suradnji s gradom Splitom i mjerodavnim ustanovama, dovršavaju potrebnu dokumentaciju za obnovu hotela Marjan, nakon čega će započeti i radovi na samom objektu. O pojedinostima samog projekta (arhitektonskom rješenju, kapacitetima, sadržaju…), na kojemu rade 3LHD i glasoviti arhitekt Piero Lissoni, pravodobno će, kažu, izvijestiti najširu javnost.
