Lamingtons su najpoznatiji australski kolačići, tamo ih možete pronaći baš u svakoj pekarnici. 

Kao što je slučaj oko svakog dobrog recepta, zasluge za kreiranje lamingtona predmet su rasprava. Tako jedni tvrde da je lamington nastao kada je služavka lorda Lamingtona slučajno ispustila biskvit u otopljenu čokoladu. Drugi vjeruju da je Armand Galland, francuski kuhar lorda Lamingtona, izmislio lamington kada je izrezao ostatke biskvita, umočio ih u čokoladu i prekrio kokosom kako bi ih poslužio neočekivane goste. Kolač je bio posebno zanimljiv jer je u to vrijeme kokos bio jako neobičan sastojak.

Kolačići su prvi put pismeno spomenuti 1900. godine u novinama Queensland Country Life pod nazivom "Torta od čokolade i kokosa Lady Lamington". Nedugo nakon postali su iznimno popularni i poznati po svojoj umanjenici "lamington".

Danas postoji mnogo varijacija lamingtona. Jedna od najpopularnijih verzija uključuje džem od malina i kremu od vrhnja, za koju smo vam i pronašli recept.

Lamingtons

Sastojci: 

Biskvit:

125 g maslaca 
250 g šećera
3 velika jaja
250 g glatkog brašna
1 prašak za pecivo
3 žlice mlijeka
prstohvat soli
250 ml vrhnja za šlag
2 žličice šećera u prahu
200 g džema od malina
350 g kokosa

Glazura:

80 g maslaca 
250 ml mlijeka
50 g kakaa u prahu
400 g šećera u prahu

Priprema:

Zagrijte pećnicu na 180 stupnjeva. Lim za pečenje dimenzija 20 x 30 cm premažite maslacem i pobrašnite kako se biskvit ne bi zalijepio. 

Izmiksajte maslac i šećer do pjenaste teksture. Postepeno dodajite jaja i dobro umutite. Dodajte brašno, mlijeko i sol i miksajte dok se potpuno ne sjedine, a zatim žlicom rasporedite po limu za pečenje. Pecite u pećnici 25 minuta ili dok biskvit ne postane zlatne boje i čvrst na dodir. Ostavite sa strane da se potpuno ohladi.

Vodoravno prerežite spužvasto tijesto kako biste dobili dvije polovice. Odrežite rubove kako biste dobili savršene kutove. Biskvit izrežite na 18 jednakih kvadrata. Lagano umutite vrhnje sa šećerom u prahu dok ne postigne mekanu kremu. Namažite malo pekmeza na polovicu biskvitnih kvadratića pa premažite i s prethodno dobivenom kremom. Spojite biskvitne polovice tako da su namaz i krema u sredini, a zatim ostavite u hladnjaku da se ohladi.

Da biste napravili glazuru, u posudi umutite otopljeni maslac i mlijeko. Prosijte kakao prah i šećer u prahu u zasebnoj zdjeli. Postupno dodajte kakao i šećer u smjesu maslaca i mlijeka, neprestano miješajući kako biste osigurali da nema grudica. Ako postane grudičasto, izmiksajte štapnom miješalicom dok ne postane glatko.

Podijelite kokos u tri plitke zdjelice, tako ćete spriječiti da bude prekriven s previše čokolade dok umačete biskvit.

Umočite svaki lamington u glazuru, a zatim ih uvaljajte u kokos. Ohladite minimalno 1 sat prije posluživanja.

Lamingtons su najpoznatiji australski kolačići, tamo ih možete pronaći baš u svakoj pekarnici. 

Kao što je slučaj oko svakog dobrog recepta, zasluge za kreiranje lamingtona predmet su rasprava. Tako jedni tvrde da je lamington nastao kada je služavka lorda Lamingtona slučajno ispustila biskvit u otopljenu čokoladu. Drugi vjeruju da je Armand Galland, francuski kuhar lorda Lamingtona, izmislio lamington kada je izrezao ostatke biskvita, umočio ih u čokoladu i prekrio kokosom kako bi ih poslužio neočekivane goste. Kolač je bio posebno zanimljiv jer je u to vrijeme kokos bio jako neobičan sastojak.

Kolačići su prvi put pismeno spomenuti 1900. godine u novinama Queensland Country Life pod nazivom "Torta od čokolade i kokosa Lady Lamington". Nedugo nakon postali su iznimno popularni i poznati po svojoj umanjenici "lamington".

Danas postoji mnogo varijacija lamingtona. Jedna od najpopularnijih verzija uključuje džem od malina i kremu od vrhnja, za koju smo vam i pronašli recept.

Lamingtons

Sastojci: 

Biskvit:

125 g maslaca 
250 g šećera
3 velika jaja
250 g glatkog brašna
1 prašak za pecivo
3 žlice mlijeka
prstohvat soli
250 ml vrhnja za šlag
2 žličice šećera u prahu
200 g džema od malina
350 g kokosa

Glazura:

80 g maslaca 
250 ml mlijeka
50 g kakaa u prahu
400 g šećera u prahu

Priprema:

Zagrijte pećnicu na 180 stupnjeva. Lim za pečenje dimenzija 20 x 30 cm premažite maslacem i pobrašnite kako se biskvit ne bi zalijepio. 

Izmiksajte maslac i šećer do pjenaste teksture. Postepeno dodajite jaja i dobro umutite. Dodajte brašno, mlijeko i sol i miksajte dok se potpuno ne sjedine, a zatim žlicom rasporedite po limu za pečenje. Pecite u pećnici 25 minuta ili dok biskvit ne postane zlatne boje i čvrst na dodir. Ostavite sa strane da se potpuno ohladi.

Vodoravno prerežite spužvasto tijesto kako biste dobili dvije polovice. Odrežite rubove kako biste dobili savršene kutove. Biskvit izrežite na 18 jednakih kvadrata. Lagano umutite vrhnje sa šećerom u prahu dok ne postigne mekanu kremu. Namažite malo pekmeza na polovicu biskvitnih kvadratića pa premažite i s prethodno dobivenom kremom. Spojite biskvitne polovice tako da su namaz i krema u sredini, a zatim ostavite u hladnjaku da se ohladi.

Da biste napravili glazuru, u posudi umutite otopljeni maslac i mlijeko. Prosijte kakao prah i šećer u prahu u zasebnoj zdjeli. Postupno dodajte kakao i šećer u smjesu maslaca i mlijeka, neprestano miješajući kako biste osigurali da nema grudica. Ako postane grudičasto, izmiksajte štapnom miješalicom dok ne postane glatko.

Podijelite kokos u tri plitke zdjelice, tako ćete spriječiti da bude prekriven s previše čokolade dok umačete biskvit.

Umočite svaki lamington u glazuru, a zatim ih uvaljajte u kokos. Ohladite minimalno 1 sat prije posluživanja.

Lamingtons su najpoznatiji australski kolačići, tamo ih možete pronaći baš u svakoj pekarnici. 

Kao što je slučaj oko svakog dobrog recepta, zasluge za kreiranje lamingtona predmet su rasprava. Tako jedni tvrde da je lamington nastao kada je služavka lorda Lamingtona slučajno ispustila biskvit u otopljenu čokoladu. Drugi vjeruju da je Armand Galland, francuski kuhar lorda Lamingtona, izmislio lamington kada je izrezao ostatke biskvita, umočio ih u čokoladu i prekrio kokosom kako bi ih poslužio neočekivane goste. Kolač je bio posebno zanimljiv jer je u to vrijeme kokos bio jako neobičan sastojak.

Kolačići su prvi put pismeno spomenuti 1900. godine u novinama Queensland Country Life pod nazivom "Torta od čokolade i kokosa Lady Lamington". Nedugo nakon postali su iznimno popularni i poznati po svojoj umanjenici "lamington".

Danas postoji mnogo varijacija lamingtona. Jedna od najpopularnijih verzija uključuje džem od malina i kremu od vrhnja, za koju smo vam i pronašli recept.

Lamingtons

Sastojci: 

Biskvit:

125 g maslaca 
250 g šećera
3 velika jaja
250 g glatkog brašna
1 prašak za pecivo
3 žlice mlijeka
prstohvat soli
250 ml vrhnja za šlag
2 žličice šećera u prahu
200 g džema od malina
350 g kokosa

Glazura:

80 g maslaca 
250 ml mlijeka
50 g kakaa u prahu
400 g šećera u prahu

Priprema:

Zagrijte pećnicu na 180 stupnjeva. Lim za pečenje dimenzija 20 x 30 cm premažite maslacem i pobrašnite kako se biskvit ne bi zalijepio. 

Izmiksajte maslac i šećer do pjenaste teksture. Postepeno dodajite jaja i dobro umutite. Dodajte brašno, mlijeko i sol i miksajte dok se potpuno ne sjedine, a zatim žlicom rasporedite po limu za pečenje. Pecite u pećnici 25 minuta ili dok biskvit ne postane zlatne boje i čvrst na dodir. Ostavite sa strane da se potpuno ohladi.

Vodoravno prerežite spužvasto tijesto kako biste dobili dvije polovice. Odrežite rubove kako biste dobili savršene kutove. Biskvit izrežite na 18 jednakih kvadrata. Lagano umutite vrhnje sa šećerom u prahu dok ne postigne mekanu kremu. Namažite malo pekmeza na polovicu biskvitnih kvadratića pa premažite i s prethodno dobivenom kremom.
