Odavno moja prvašica želi imati psa - pasa - i to zlatnog retrivera, još od onog ranog razdoblja u životu kad djeca misle da mogu – i mogu! - dobiti sve, pa ih prva odbijenica iskreno zaprepasti.
S uzdahom tipa ‘aha, evo je opet’, svako malo ulazim u začarani krug:
- Pas je, mišu, velika obaveza.
- Pa šta, i mačka je obaveza, pa je isto imamo!
- Mačku ne treba izvodit...
- Ja bi ga izvodila. Pogotovo sad kad sam velika! Mama, ja imam sedam i po godina!
- Izvodila bi ga i zimi rano ujutro, dok je još noć?
- Pa... onda bi zamolila tatu.
- Pas ne može doma bit sam.
- I ne mora. Iša bi sa mnom u školu i svugdi. Kako drugi mogu imat pasa?
- Snalaze se nekako...
- Zašto se i mi ne snađemo?
Pred svaki rođendan nada se da će joj dar biti zlatni retriver (‘znaš li, mama, da taj pas nikad nikoga nije ugriza?’)
Raste mi osjećaj da griješim, da joj uskraćujem nešto lijepo i korisno. U školu, ako ne kasni, i ako ne pada kiša, ide dužim putem da se može igrati s Ringom koji po kiši ne izlazi iz kućice. Poznaje sve pse u ulici – Goldija, Sokrata, Elu, Kirku, Rikija, ali Ringo joj je najdraži. Veliki zlatni zaigrani retriver.
Na izletu smo je jednom zatekli kako nasred livade leži ušuškana uz golemog seoskog psa, ničijega i svačijeg Medu. U veterinarskoj ambulanti doktor Raunig joj je nedavno, sa smiješkom gledajući kako mu grli pacijente, predložio da se kod njega zaposli.
- A dobro. Ionako ću bit veterinarka.
Je li tolika želja vrijedna promjene stava i životnih navika, preuzimanja obaveze koja, kako god se uzme, dekomodira? To samopropitivanje osjećam kao pukotinu u monolitu odluke da za psa u kući nemamo ni mjesta, ni vremena, ni, iskreno, previše volje. A ona po toj pukotini stalno svrdla: često, naime, ima vremena, i ne pada kiša.
- Baš se volin igrat s Ringom..
- Znam, mišu – kažem, nepromišljeno.
- Pa kad znaš, zašto mi onda već jednom ne kupite pasa?

| PIŠE LIDIJA GNJIDIĆ |
Odavno moja prvašica želi imati psa - pasa - i to zlatnog retrivera, još od onog ranog razdoblja u životu kad djeca misle da mogu – i mogu! - dobiti sve, pa ih prva odbijenica iskreno zaprepasti.
S uzdahom tipa ‘aha, evo je opet’, svako malo ulazim u začarani krug:
- Pas je, mišu, velika obaveza.
- Pa šta, i mačka je obaveza, pa je isto imamo!
- Mačku ne treba izvodit...
- Ja bi ga izvodila. Pogotovo sad kad sam velika! Mama, ja imam sedam i po godina!
- Izvodila bi ga i zimi rano ujutro, dok je još noć?
- Pa... onda bi zamolila tatu.
- Pas ne može doma bit sam.
- I ne mora. Iša bi sa mnom u školu i svugdi. Kako drugi mogu imat pasa?
- Snalaze se nekako...
- Zašto se i mi ne snađemo?
Pred svaki rođendan nada se da će joj dar biti zlatni retriver (‘znaš li, mama, da taj pas nikad nikoga nije ugriza?’)
Raste mi osjećaj da griješim, da joj uskraćujem nešto lijepo i korisno. U školu, ako ne kasni, i ako ne pada kiša, ide dužim putem da se može igrati s Ringom koji po kiši ne izlazi iz kućice. Poznaje sve pse u ulici – Goldija, Sokrata, Elu, Kirku, Rikija, ali Ringo joj je najdraži. Veliki zlatni zaigrani retriver.
Na izletu smo je jednom zatekli kako nasred livade leži ušuškana uz golemog seoskog psa, ničijega i svačijeg Medu. U veterinarskoj ambulanti doktor Raunig joj je nedavno, sa smiješkom gledajući kako mu grli pacijente, predložio da se kod njega zaposli.
- A dobro. Ionako ću bit veterinarka.
Je li tolika želja vrijedna promjene stava i životnih navika, preuzimanja obaveze koja, kako god se uzme, dekomodira? To samopropitivanje osjećam kao pukotinu u monolitu odluke da za psa u kući nemamo ni mjesta, ni vremena, ni, iskreno, previše volje. A ona po toj pukotini stalno svrdla: često, naime, ima vremena, i ne pada kiša.
- Baš se volin igrat s Ringom..
- Znam, mišu – kažem, nepromišljeno.
- Pa kad znaš, zašto mi onda već jednom ne kupite pasa?
