Sorento je na naše tržište stigao sredinom 2003., kad je već postigao gotovo senzacionalan uspjeh na američkom tržištu. Solidna korejska izvedba tehnologije Mitsubishi Pajera (12-erostrukog pobjednika relija Dakar, što je jedna od najboljih referencija uopće) bila je dobra preporuka za tržišnu utakmicu, što se i potvrdilo.

Mnogi misle da je SUV, jer ostavlja takav dojam, ali Sorento prve generacije klasičan je terenac. Ima masivnu rešetkastu šasiju, uzdužno postavljen motor sa stalnim stražnjim pogonom preko krutog mosta, uključivi prednji pogon s pravokutnom povratnom vezom i dodatni reduktor.

Nema dodatnu ručicu za reduktor, jer se pogon 4x4, izravni ili skraćeni (preko reduktora), uključuje zakretanjem gumba lijevo od upravljača. Promjenu pogonske konfiguracije obavlja elektrohidraulički mehanizam.

Za razliku od klasične izvedbe, kod koje je potrebno zaustaviti vozilo i malom ručicom uključiti 4x4, to je moguće u vožnji, do 30 km/h. Kod rabljenih to i nije vrlina, jer mehanika je mehanika i praktički ne može otkazati. No i elektrohidraulički mehanizam nije stvarao nikakve probleme.

Klasični terenac

Premda je Sorento klasičan terenac, poželjno je da nije često vožen na terenu, a najbolje je ako ga je prethodni vlasnik vozio pretežito asfaltom. Stoga je prije kupnje preporučljiv pregled na dizalici, kako bi se utvrdilo koliko je kilometara prešao na lošem terenu. Je li podnica izgrebana? Ima li zazora u kuglastim zglobovima? Jesu li gume nepravilno potrošene?

Tada je lako utvrditi i stanje ispušnog sustava te kočnih diskova. Sorento je u početku imao ‘dječjih bolesti’, ali je već 2004., po statistikama ADAC-a, uz Toyotu Land Cruiser, Mitsubishi Pajero i Mercedes ML proglašen jednim od najpouzdanijih terenaca.

Lista mogućih kvarova je kratka - spominju se problemi s pregrijavanjem dizelskog motora i pregaranjem brtvila glave, zbog pogreške na termostatu (modeli do 2004.), s visokotlačnom pumpom goriva (do 2006.), osjetljiv stražnji stabilizator te propuštanje ulja na motoru i mjenjaču.

Testni je model u četiri godine prešao 51.000 km i, osim na redovite servise, nije trebao kod mehaničara. Radi bez greške i sve je tip-top, što je zasluga i umjerene vožnje i redovitog održavanja. Stoga vrijedi 10.300 eura, koliko ga vlasnik procjenjuje, premda na tržištu ima i povoljnijih primjeraka.

Dobar osnovni benzinac

Premda mnogi ciljaju na rabljenog dizelaša, benzinac obujma 2351 ccm i snage 139 KS promišljen je izbor. Radi se o ‘neuništivome’ Mitsubishijevu motoru serije 4G 64, koji dobro vuče, a nije previše rastrošan.

Takvi se primjerci mogu nabaviti za 1500 do 2000 eura povoljnije, u pravilu su s manje kilometara (manji je rizik vraćene kilometraže), a održavanje je povoljnije. Preporučljivi su i primjerci s automatskim mjenjačem, koji čuva motor i prijenosni mehanizam od preopterećenja.

Sorento je na naše tržište stigao sredinom 2003., kad je već postigao gotovo senzacionalan uspjeh na američkom tržištu. Solidna korejska izvedba tehnologije Mitsubishi Pajera (12-erostrukog pobjednika relija Dakar, što je jedna od najboljih referencija uopće) bila je dobra preporuka za tržišnu utakmicu, što se i potvrdilo.

Mnogi misle da je SUV, jer ostavlja takav dojam, ali Sorento prve generacije klasičan je terenac. Ima masivnu rešetkastu šasiju, uzdužno postavljen motor sa stalnim stražnjim pogonom preko krutog mosta, uključivi prednji pogon s pravokutnom povratnom vezom i dodatni reduktor.

Nema dodatnu ručicu za reduktor, jer se pogon 4x4, izravni ili skraćeni (preko reduktora), uključuje zakretanjem gumba lijevo od upravljača. Promjenu pogonske konfiguracije obavlja elektrohidraulički mehanizam.

Za razliku od klasične izvedbe, kod koje je potrebno zaustaviti vozilo i malom ručicom uključiti 4x4, to je moguće u vožnji, do 30 km/h. Kod rabljenih to i nije vrlina, jer mehanika je mehanika i praktički ne može otkazati. No i elektrohidraulički mehanizam nije stvarao nikakve probleme.

Klasični terenac

Premda je Sorento klasičan terenac, poželjno je da nije često vožen na terenu, a najbolje je ako ga je prethodni vlasnik vozio pretežito asfaltom. Stoga je prije kupnje preporučljiv pregled na dizalici, kako bi se utvrdilo koliko je kilometara prešao na lošem terenu. Je li podnica izgrebana? Ima li zazora u kuglastim zglobovima? Jesu li gume nepravilno potrošene?

Tada je lako utvrditi i stanje ispušnog sustava te kočnih diskova. Sorento je u početku imao ‘dječjih bolesti’, ali je već 2004., po statistikama ADAC-a, uz Toyotu Land Cruiser, Mitsubishi Pajero i Mercedes ML proglašen jednim od najpouzdanijih terenaca.

Lista mogućih kvarova je kratka - spominju se problemi s pregrijavanjem dizelskog motora i pregaranjem brtvila glave, zbog pogreške na termostatu (modeli do 2004.), s visokotlačnom pumpom goriva (do 2006.), osjetljiv stražnji stabilizator te propuštanje ulja na motoru i mjenjaču.

Testni je model u četiri godine prešao 51.000 km i, osim na redovite servise, nije trebao kod mehaničara. Radi bez greške i sve je tip-top, što je zasluga i umjerene vožnje i redovitog održavanja. Stoga vrijedi 10.300 eura, koliko ga vlasnik procjenjuje, premda na tržištu ima i povoljnijih primjeraka.

Dobar osnovni benzinac

Premda mnogi ciljaju na rabljenog dizelaša, benzinac obujma 2351 ccm i snage 139 KS promišljen je izbor. Radi se o ‘neuništivome’ Mitsubishijevu motoru serije 4G 64, koji dobro vuče, a nije previše rastrošan.

Takvi se primjerci mogu nabaviti za 1500 do 2000 eura povoljnije, u pravilu su s manje kilometara (manji je rizik vraćene kilometraže), a održavanje je povoljnije. Preporučljivi su i primjerci s automatskim mjenjačem, koji čuva motor i prijenosni mehanizam od preopterećenja.
