Iako je u travnju tvrdila da novinari na Olimpijskim igrama u Pekingu neće imati ograničenja pri korištenju Interneta, kineska je vlada samo tjedan dana pred Olimpijadu opovrgnula stariju vijest.

Nekih 20.000 novinara koji će pratiti Olimpijadu (na slici je zgrada Olimpijskog press centra) neće imati pristupa web stranicama koje imaju "nepoćudna" imena ili poruke. Tako će sve stranice koje vode do spiritističke skupine Falun Gong biti blokirane.

Novinari će također otkriti i kako nemaju uvid u neke stranice s novostima i ljudskim pravima. Ne čudi razočarenje nakon ove vijesti jer je svojedobno Kina jamčila kako nikakvih cenzura za novinare neće biti, no očito je dnevna politika odnijela prevagu.

Novinari će također otkriti i kako nemaju uvid u neke stranice s novostima i ljudskim pravima. Ne čudi razočarenje nakon ove vijesti jer je svojedobno Kina jamčila kako nikakvih cenzura za novinare neće biti, no očito je dnevna politika odnijela prevagu.
