Iza Davora Gopca i njegova benda “Psihomodo Pop” punih je 30 godina djelovanja na glazbenoj sceni. Iako obljetnica sama po sebi povlači ekstra događaje, poput obljetničarskih koncerata, promocija i slično, momci iz benda nipošto ne žive pod stresom ili presingom, nego se ponašaju kao da je svaki dan 30 godina.
Mladić u pedesetima
– Nastupali smo cijelo ljeto po Hrvatskoj, Bosni i Hercegovini i šire, al’ inače smo po gažama, bez nekog povoda. Slavimo mi tih 30 godina već protekle dvije godine, al’ ništa nam se ne mijenja, ni na papiru, ni u glavama. Ostali smo isti, barem mislim. Ne vidim neke promjene, osim što smo stariji, al’ samo u dokumentima – kaže nam frontmen benda Davor Gobac, mladić u svojim pedesetim godinama. Svoju staru publiku, ali i neke nove klince, oduševili su novim singlom “Zločest kao pas” kojim su najavili novi album. On će, kaže Gobac, kad-tad ugledati svjetlo dana, ali ne opterećuju se službenim datumima.
– Meni je najvažnije da dobro funkcioniramo kao ljudi, ekipa, sve je to stara postava i iako smo dugo zajedno, još uvijek imamo nešto jedno drugom reći. Ostali smo isti, i dalje volim Ramonese, Beatlese i Stonese... Na svakom albumu imamo obradu nekog starog punk ili rock ‘n’ roll hita...

Radujemo se svakoj novoj gaži, a ovih dana gostovali smo i u splitskom klubu “O’Hara”. Tamo nismo svirali oho-ho vremena. Došli smo “zločesti kao psi” – kaže Gobac, objašnjavajući kako je riječ o pjesmi o ljudima. Kada sve zbroji i oduzme, Gobac veli da ništa ne bi mijenjao u svom životu, ali bi oko sebe. Najviše ga ljute sve popularnije cajke koje su ušle gotovo u sve klubove, diskoteke i kafiće, a mladi su ih ljudi prihvatili kao himne.
– Opća je situacija proseljačka. Po mojem mišljenju, to je civilizacijsko spuštanje nivoa, nešto strašno! Ne mogu vjerovati da mladi ljudi to slušaju, znaju sve pjesme, ma grozota... Mi smo klasičan bend poniknuo iz garaže, odgojen na rock ‘n’ rollu i punku, roditelji su nam slušali legende poput Miše Kovača i sličnih, al’ ovo danas je užas – komentira.
Sin ‘metalac’
Kaže nam kako ima sreću da njegov 19-godišnji sin nije od tih cajki, nego, naprotiv, ima metal bend. – Danas je puno lakše imati bend i naći publiku jer imate internet. Dok smo mi tražili vezu za objavu u novinama, danas samo stavite singl na YouTube i svi vas vide i čuju. Zato volim te nove tehnologije. Kako kaže, Gobac živi normalan život. Odušak nalazi u crtanju i neprestano priređuje izložbe, i to retrospektivne. Upravo mu je aktualna ona u Zaprešiću. U slobodno vrijeme voli još pogledati crtiće, poslušati mlađe bendove, a veseli se svakom novom glumačkom angažmanu iako je, priznaje, lijen za učenje novih tekstova. – Jedino me mogućnost transformacije natjera na učenje, pa mi dođe prosvjetljenje – kaže Gobac.

Iza Davora Gopca i njegova benda “Psihomodo Pop” punih je 30 godina djelovanja na glazbenoj sceni. Iako obljetnica sama po sebi povlači ekstra događaje, poput obljetničarskih koncerata, promocija i slično, momci iz benda nipošto ne žive pod stresom ili presingom, nego se ponašaju kao da je svaki dan 30 godina.
Mladić u pedesetima
– Nastupali smo cijelo ljeto po Hrvatskoj, Bosni i Hercegovini i šire, al’ inače smo po gažama, bez nekog povoda. Slavimo mi tih 30 godina već protekle dvije godine, al’ ništa nam se ne mijenja, ni na papiru, ni u glavama. Ostali smo isti, barem mislim. Ne vidim neke promjene, osim što smo stariji, al’ samo u dokumentima – kaže nam frontmen benda Davor Gobac, mladić u svojim pedesetim godinama. Svoju staru publiku, ali i neke nove klince, oduševili su novim singlom “Zločest kao pas” kojim su najavili novi album. On će, kaže Gobac, kad-tad ugledati svjetlo dana, ali ne opterećuju se službenim datumima.
– Meni je najvažnije da dobro funkcioniramo kao ljudi, ekipa, sve je to stara postava i iako smo dugo zajedno, još uvijek imamo nešto jedno drugom reći. Ostali smo isti, i dalje volim Ramonese, Beatlese i Stonese... Na svakom albumu imamo obradu nekog starog punk ili rock ‘n’ roll hita...

Radujemo se svakoj novoj gaži, a ovih dana gostovali smo i u splitskom klubu “O’Hara”. Tamo nismo svirali oho-ho vremena. Došli smo “zločesti kao psi” – kaže Gobac, objašnjavajući kako je riječ o pjesmi o ljudima. Kada sve zbroji i oduzme, Gobac veli da ništa ne bi mijenjao u svom životu, ali bi oko sebe. Najviše ga ljute sve popularnije cajke koje su ušle gotovo u sve klubove, diskoteke i kafiće, a mladi su ih ljudi prihvatili kao himne.
– Opća je situacija proseljačka. Po mojem mišljenju, to je civilizacijsko spuštanje nivoa, nešto strašno! Ne mogu vjerovati da mladi ljudi to slušaju, znaju sve pjesme, ma grozota... Mi smo klasičan bend poniknuo iz garaže, odgojen na rock ‘n’ rollu i punku, roditelji su nam slušali legende poput Miše Kovača i sličnih, al’ ovo danas je užas – komentira.
Sin ‘metalac’
Kaže nam kako ima sreću da njegov 19-godišnji sin nije od tih cajki, nego, naprotiv, ima metal bend. – Danas je puno lakše imati bend i naći publiku jer imate internet. Dok smo mi tražili vezu za objavu u novinama, danas samo stavite singl na YouTube i svi vas vide i čuju. Zato volim te nove tehnologije. Kako kaže, Gobac živi normalan život. Odušak nalazi u crtanju i neprestano priređuje izložbe, i to retrospektivne. Upravo mu je aktualna ona u Zaprešiću. U slobodno vrijeme voli još pogledati crtiće, poslušati mlađe bendove, a veseli se svakom novom glumačkom angažmanu iako je, priznaje, lijen za učenje novih tekstova. – Jedino me mogućnost transformacije natjera na učenje, pa mi dođe prosvjetljenje – kaže Gobac.
