Žrtva iz tri desetljeća starog slučaja silovanja protiv redatelja Romana Polanskog zatražila je da američki žalbeni sud odbaci optužbe protiv njega, objavio je u utorak list Los Angeles Times u svom internetskom izdanju.
Danas 46-godišnja Samantha Geimer sita je neopisive medijske pažnje koja okružuju nju i njezinu obitelj te joj život čini nemogućim.
Polanski (76) uhićen je prije mjesec dana u Švicarskoj na temelju američkog naloga kao bjegunac od pravde. SAD je prošli tjedan i formalno zatražio njegovo izručenje.
Geimeričin odvjetnik Lawrence Silver prošloga je tjedna na sudu u Los Angelesu zatražio da se optužnica protiv Polanskog odbaci. "Moja klijentica želi da je se ostavi na miru". Otkako je Polanski uhićen ona je primila 500 telefonskih poziva raznih medija iz svih krajeva svijeta koji traže izjavu ili intervju. Fotografi danonoćno kampiraju ispred njezine kuće na Havajima, a neki i gnjave njezinu djecu.
Geimer je pred porotom 1977. godine, kao 13-godišnja djevojčica, posvjedočila da ju je Polanski napio i zatim silovao u kući u Los Angelesu. Dogovorom odvjetnika dviju strana Polanski je umjesto da mu se sudi kao silovatelju priznao nezakoniti seksualni odnos s maloljetnicom. Zatim je pušten da na slobodi čeka suđenje za taj čin, što je on iskoristio za trajan bijeg iz SAD-a.
Godine 1993. Polanski je s njom sklopio građansku nagodbu i pristao joj platiti pola milijuna dolara odštete. Nije poznato je li Geimer ikada primila taj novac, ali je ona i ranije putem medija govorila kako bi htjela da se optužnica protiv njega odbaci kako bi mogla normalno nastaviti sa životom.

Žrtva iz tri desetljeća starog slučaja silovanja protiv redatelja Romana Polanskog zatražila je da američki žalbeni sud odbaci optužbe protiv njega, objavio je u utorak list Los Angeles Times u svom internetskom izdanju.
Danas 46-godišnja Samantha Geimer sita je neopisive medijske pažnje koja okružuju nju i njezinu obitelj te joj život čini nemogućim.
Polanski (76) uhićen je prije mjesec dana u Švicarskoj na temelju američkog naloga kao bjegunac od pravde. SAD je prošli tjedan i formalno zatražio njegovo izručenje.
Geimeričin odvjetnik Lawrence Silver prošloga je tjedna na sudu u Los Angelesu zatražio da se optužnica protiv Polanskog odbaci. "Moja klijentica želi da je se ostavi na miru". Otkako je Polanski uhićen ona je primila 500 telefonskih poziva raznih medija iz svih krajeva svijeta koji traže izjavu ili intervju. Fotografi danonoćno kampiraju ispred njezine kuće na Havajima, a neki i gnjave njezinu djecu.
Geimer je pred porotom 1977. godine, kao 13-godišnja djevojčica, posvjedočila da ju je Polanski napio i zatim silovao u kući u Los Angelesu. Dogovorom odvjetnika dviju strana Polanski je umjesto da mu se sudi kao silovatelju priznao nezakoniti seksualni odnos s maloljetnicom. Zatim je pušten da na slobodi čeka suđenje za taj čin, što je on iskoristio za trajan bijeg iz SAD-a.
Godine 1993. Polanski je s njom sklopio građansku nagodbu i pristao joj platiti pola milijuna dolara odštete. Nije poznato je li Geimer ikada primila taj novac, ali je ona i ranije putem medija govorila kako bi htjela da se optužnica protiv njega odbaci kako bi mogla normalno nastaviti sa životom.
