Legendarni frontmen Rolling Stonesa Mick Jagger izjavio je da ne namjerava napisati autobiografiju i da bi radije radio nešto novo, a one zainteresirane za tajne iz njegova života uputio je na stranice Wikipedije na kojima, ističe, sve o njemu piše.

"Mislim da je tržište rock 'n' roll memoara zasićeno. Radije bih radio nešto novo - snimao filmove, stvarao novu glazbu, išao na turneje. Ako netko želi znati što sam radio 1965., može pogledati na Wikipediji i ne potrošiti ništa", rekao je 70-godišnji Jagger u intervjuu za siječanjsko izdanje časopisa "The Hollywood Reporter".

Tako je otkrio da neće slijediti svog kolegu, "prvu gitaru" benda Keitha Richardsa čija je autobiografija "Život" (Life) bila najprodavanija u 2010. Time je razočarao mnoge koji su očekivali odgovor Richardsu koji je Jaggera u svojoj knjizi u par navrata otračao, nazvao ga "divom" i nadjenuo mu nadimke "Brenda" i "Vaše Visočanstvo".

Jagger je ranije prihvatio milijun funti avansa za objavljivanje memoara u sedamdesetima, ali je morao vratiti novac jer je nacrt autobiografije ocijenjen predosadnim za objavljivanje. Prošle je godine, kako se približavao sedamdesetoj, Jaggeru ponovno ponuđeno da napiše autobiografiju.

"Zamolili su me opet, ali ja to neću učiniti. Shvatio sam da je to depresivno i dosadno", rekao je za "Telegraph".

Jagger trenutno radi na brojnim filmskim i TV projektima, uključujući produkciju za biografski film o Jamesu Brownu "Get On Up" i biografski film Kevina Macdonalda o Elvisu Presleyju pod nazivom "Last Train To Memphis".

Očekuje se i njegov nastup u filmu "Tabloid", a surađuje i s Martinom Scorseseom na HBO-ovoj seriji koja se bavi rock scenom sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Pilot za seriju piše scenarist popularne serije "Na putu prema dolje" (Breaking Bad) George Mastras.

U intervjuu se 305 milijuna dolara "težak" frontmen Stonesa osvrnuo na kritike da je u produkciji za biografski film o kultnoj soul i funk zvijezdi Brownu trebalo biti uključeno više Afroamerikanaca kao i da ga je Afroamerikanac trebao i režirati.

"Slijedeći tu logiku, samo bi Englezi mogli glumiti Engleze i samo bi Amerikanci trebali glumiti Amerikance. Pogledajte samo Cate Blanchett (koja je kći Amerikanca i Australke) u filmu o engleskoj kraljici Elizabeti. To je super film koji je režirao Indijac (Shekhar Kapur). Ne zanima me dolazite li iz Timbuktua ili Londona. To nije važno", odgovorio je Jagger na kritike.

Stonesi 21. veljače započinju svjetsku turneju u sklopu koje će, između ostalog, posjetiti Australiju, Novi Zeland, Abu Dhabi, Tokio, Kinu i Tel Aviv.

Legendarni frontmen Rolling Stonesa Mick Jagger izjavio je da ne namjerava napisati autobiografiju i da bi radije radio nešto novo, a one zainteresirane za tajne iz njegova života uputio je na stranice Wikipedije na kojima, ističe, sve o njemu piše.

"Mislim da je tržište rock 'n' roll memoara zasićeno. Radije bih radio nešto novo - snimao filmove, stvarao novu glazbu, išao na turneje. Ako netko želi znati što sam radio 1965., može pogledati na Wikipediji i ne potrošiti ništa", rekao je 70-godišnji Jagger u intervjuu za siječanjsko izdanje časopisa "The Hollywood Reporter".

Tako je otkrio da neće slijediti svog kolegu, "prvu gitaru" benda Keitha Richardsa čija je autobiografija "Život" (Life) bila najprodavanija u 2010. Time je razočarao mnoge koji su očekivali odgovor Richardsu koji je Jaggera u svojoj knjizi u par navrata otračao, nazvao ga "divom" i nadjenuo mu nadimke "Brenda" i "Vaše Visočanstvo".

Jagger je ranije prihvatio milijun funti avansa za objavljivanje memoara u sedamdesetima, ali je morao vratiti novac jer je nacrt autobiografije ocijenjen predosadnim za objavljivanje. Prošle je godine, kako se približavao sedamdesetoj, Jaggeru ponovno ponuđeno da napiše autobiografiju.

"Zamolili su me opet, ali ja to neću učiniti. Shvatio sam da je to depresivno i dosadno", rekao je za "Telegraph".

Jagger trenutno radi na brojnim filmskim i TV projektima, uključujući produkciju za biografski film o Jamesu Brownu "Get On Up" i biografski film Kevina Macdonalda o Elvisu Presleyju pod nazivom "Last Train To Memphis".

Očekuje se i njegov nastup u filmu "Tabloid", a surađuje i s Martinom Scorseseom na HBO-ovoj seriji koja se bavi rock scenom sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Pilot za seriju piše scenarist popularne serije "Na putu prema dolje" (Breaking Bad) George Mastras.

U intervjuu se 305 milijuna dolara "težak" frontmen Stonesa osvrnuo na kritike da je u produkciji za biografski film o kultnoj soul i funk zvijezdi Brownu trebalo biti uključeno više Afroamerikanaca kao i da ga je Afroamerikanac trebao i režirati.

"Slijedeći tu logiku, samo bi Englezi mogli glumiti Engleze i samo bi Amerikanci trebali glumiti Amerikance. Pogledajte samo Cate Blanchett (koja je kći Amerikanca i Australke) u filmu o engleskoj kraljici Elizabeti. To je super film koji je režirao Indijac (Shekhar Kapur). Ne zanima me dolazite li iz Timbuktua ili Londona. To nije važno", odgovorio je Jagger na kritike.

Stonesi 21. veljače započinju svjetsku turneju u sklopu koje će, između ostalog, posjetiti Australiju, Novi Zeland, Abu Dhabi, Tokio, Kinu i Tel Aviv.
