Predsjednica Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović potvrdila je u srijedu u Sarajevu kako nema nikakvih zapreka za početak gradnje Pelješkog mosta i naglasila kako je to Hrvatskoj važan razvojni projekt koji je bitan za Hrvatsku koji istodobno ni na koji način ne ugrožava interese Bosne i Hercegovine.
"Pitanje Pelješkog mosta apsolutno nije usmjereno protiv interesa BiH", kazala je hrvatska predsjendica na konferenciji za novinstvo održanoj nakon sastanka s članovima Predsjedništva BiH.
Objasnila je kako je članove bosanskohercegovačkog državnog vrha izvijestila o sadržaju pisma što ga je hrvatskom premijeru Andreju Plenkoviću uputio predsjednik Europske komisije Jean-Claude Juncker u kojemu jasno stoji kako sa stajališta EU nema nikakvih zapreka gradnji Pelješkog mosta.
Kazala je kako je gradnja mosta prije svega pitanje povezivanja hrvatskog, odnosno teritorija EU-a, koje se nepotrebno pretvorilo u bilateralni problem između Hrvatske i BiH.
Naglasila je važnost gradnje mosta za razvoj Pelješca, od čega bi koristi imao i Neum jer se tamo više ne bi stvarale kolone na graničnim prijelazima.
"Pelješki most je jednostavno unutarnje razvojno pitanje Hrvatske i nikakve neprijateljske namjere tu ne postoje i nadam se da ćemo to do kraja raščistiti i staviti 'ad acta' kao otvoreno pitanje", kazala je predsjednica.
Predsjedatelj Predsjendištva BiH Dragan Čović kazao je kako njegova zemlja, na žalost, još nema strategiju vanjske politike zbog čega i nastaju problemi poput ovoga oko gradnje Pelješkog mosta pri čemu svaka strana u BiH na različite načine interpretira državne interese.
Kazao je kako on osobno nema nikakvih dvojbi o tomu da je Pelješki most opravdan projekt koji će koristiti i BiH, prije svega Neumu.
"Neum jest strateški interes BiH, ali i hrvatskog naroda u BiH. Želimo da ostane turistički biser, a upravo stoga je Pelješki most i strateški interes BiH", kazao je Čović ističući kako se nada da će uskoro prestati potreba da se ovo pitanje koristi za predizborne svrhe.
Time je aludirao na stajališta dužnosnika vladajuće Stranke demokratske skcije (SDA) koji ustraju na tome da se se gradnja Pelješkog mosta obustavi sve dok ne bude utvrđena međudržavna granica s Hrvatskom.

Predsjednica Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović potvrdila je u srijedu u Sarajevu kako nema nikakvih zapreka za početak gradnje Pelješkog mosta i naglasila kako je to Hrvatskoj važan razvojni projekt koji je bitan za Hrvatsku koji istodobno ni na koji način ne ugrožava interese Bosne i Hercegovine.
"Pitanje Pelješkog mosta apsolutno nije usmjereno protiv interesa BiH", kazala je hrvatska predsjendica na konferenciji za novinstvo održanoj nakon sastanka s članovima Predsjedništva BiH.
Objasnila je kako je članove bosanskohercegovačkog državnog vrha izvijestila o sadržaju pisma što ga je hrvatskom premijeru Andreju Plenkoviću uputio predsjednik Europske komisije Jean-Claude Juncker u kojemu jasno stoji kako sa stajališta EU nema nikakvih zapreka gradnji Pelješkog mosta.
Kazala je kako je gradnja mosta prije svega pitanje povezivanja hrvatskog, odnosno teritorija EU-a, koje se nepotrebno pretvorilo u bilateralni problem između Hrvatske i BiH.
Naglasila je važnost gradnje mosta za razvoj Pelješca, od čega bi koristi imao i Neum jer se tamo više ne bi stvarale kolone na graničnim prijelazima.
"Pelješki most je jednostavno unutarnje razvojno pitanje Hrvatske i nikakve neprijateljske namjere tu ne postoje i nadam se da ćemo to do kraja raščistiti i staviti 'ad acta' kao otvoreno pitanje", kazala je predsjednica.
Predsjedatelj Predsjendištva BiH Dragan Čović kazao je kako njegova zemlja, na žalost, još nema strategiju vanjske politike zbog čega i nastaju problemi poput ovoga oko gradnje Pelješkog mosta pri čemu svaka strana u BiH na različite načine interpretira državne interese.
Kazao je kako on osobno nema nikakvih dvojbi o tomu da je Pelješki most opravdan projekt koji će koristiti i BiH, prije svega Neumu.
"Neum jest strateški interes BiH, ali i hrvatskog naroda u BiH. Želimo da ostane turistički biser, a upravo stoga je Pelješki most i strateški interes BiH", kazao je Čović ističući kako se nada da će uskoro prestati potreba da se ovo pitanje koristi za predizborne svrhe.
Time je aludirao na stajališta dužnosnika vladajuće Stranke demokratske skcije (SDA) koji ustraju na tome da se se gradnja Pelješkog mosta obustavi sve dok ne bude utvrđena međudržavna granica s Hrvatskom.
