Na novi pothvat sprema se Veljano Zanki. Naime, jedini Hrvat koji je probio onu magičnu granicu od preko 100 metara zaronivši na dah na 101 metar, odlučio je ići još dublje. Ovaj 24-godišnji Komižanin će se tako u nedjelju 14. lipnja, u akvatoriju Visa, spustiti na 110 metara.
- Nacionalni sam rekorder u ronjenju na dah, free diving, u četiri dubinske discipline, a plan mi je sada rekord u no limitu iz listopada prošle godine od 101 metra poboljšati na 110 metara – pojasnio nam je Veljano, student FESB-a, ujedno član KŠR-a Split, svoje obaranje rekorda na koji će ići tri nautičke milje od rta Stupišće ispred Komiže.
Njegov prvi zaron trajao je 2.20 minuta, gdje se on uz pomoć posebne naprave sleda spustio na dno te vratio na površinu uz pomoć padobrana, no opasnosti na samom dnu koje vrebaju ronioca su smrtonosne. Veljana tako osim dubina, te gotovo tri minute bez zraka, čekaju i problemi s tlakovima koji caruju na putu prema morskom dnu, ali i tamom koja vlada u dubini mora.

- Priznajem kako sam u odličnoj formi, evo spremam između zarona i kolokvije za faks – bez trunke nervoze najavljuje Zanki novi državni rekord, kao i plan za ovo ljeto:
- Osim no limit discipline na 110 metara, pokušat ću mjesec dana poslije ići i na 130 metara. Na Rabu mi je u planu poboljšati svoj državni rekord u variable weight (VWT) s 80 na 90 metara, kao i constante weight (CWT) s 80 na 100 metara – nabrojio je Zanki kao da je vrlo jednostavno sve ovo odraditi. A gdje mu je limit?

Na novi pothvat sprema se Veljano Zanki. Naime, jedini Hrvat koji je probio onu magičnu granicu od preko 100 metara zaronivši na dah na 101 metar, odlučio je ići još dublje. Ovaj 24-godišnji Komižanin će se tako u nedjelju 14. lipnja, u akvatoriju Visa, spustiti na 110 metara.
- Nacionalni sam rekorder u ronjenju na dah, free diving, u četiri dubinske discipline, a plan mi je sada rekord u no limitu iz listopada prošle godine od 101 metra poboljšati na 110 metara – pojasnio nam je Veljano, student FESB-a, ujedno član KŠR-a Split, svoje obaranje rekorda na koji će ići tri nautičke milje od rta Stupišće ispred Komiže.
Njegov prvi zaron trajao je 2.20 minuta, gdje se on uz pomoć posebne naprave sleda spustio na dno te vratio na površinu uz pomoć padobrana, no opasnosti na samom dnu koje vrebaju ronioca su smrtonosne. Veljana tako osim dubina, te gotovo tri minute bez zraka, čekaju i problemi s tlakovima koji caruju na putu prema morskom dnu, ali i tamom koja vlada u dubini mora.

- Priznajem kako sam u odličnoj formi, evo spremam između zarona i kolokvije za faks – bez trunke nervoze najavljuje Zanki novi državni rekord, kao i plan za ovo ljeto:
- Osim no limit discipline na 110 metara, pokušat ću mjesec dana poslije ići i na 130 metara. Na Rabu mi je u planu poboljšati svoj državni rekord u variable weight (VWT) s 80 na 90 metara, kao i constante weight (CWT) s 80 na 100 metara – nabrojio je Zanki kao da je vrlo jednostavno sve ovo odraditi. A gdje mu je limit?
- Ni sam ne znam, idem metar po metar, rekord po rekord! - rezimirao je mladi Komižanin.
