Intolerancija ili osjetljivost na gluten pogađa oko 35 posto populacije. Njihovim tijelima nedostaju ključni enzimi potrebni za razgradnju čestica glutena.

Puno je dezinformacija koje kruže o intoleranciji na gluten, a mnogi su ljudi jednostavno odlučili prestati jesti gluten ne znajući šteti li im on doista. Iako intolerancija na gluten ne pogađa sve, teško je reći jeste li dio pogođene populacije bez odgovarajućeg testa.

Eliminacijska dijeta

Specifični sindromi intolerancije na gluten razlikuju se od osobe do osobe. Možete doživjeti sve gore navedene sindrome ili samo neke. Najčešći simptom osoba s osjetljivošću na gluten je probavna smetnja. Budući da njihovo tijelo ne može razgraditi gluten, imaju grčeve, nadutost, proljev i plinove. Drugi neprobavni simptomi intolerancije na gluten uključuju migrene, “moždanu maglu”, iscrpljenost, zadržavanje vode i bolove u zglobovima.

Budući da nepodnošljivost glutena dovodi do upale, simptomi se mogu pojaviti i na koži. Možda ćete imati više akni, više problema s psorijazom i ekcemom ako jedete puno glutena. Obično svi ovi simptomi nestaju sami od sebe ako se gluten izbaci iz prehrane.

Intolerancija ili osjetljivost na gluten pogađa oko 35 posto populacije. Njihovim tijelima nedostaju ključni enzimi potrebni za razgradnju čestica glutena.

Nakon toga morat ćete potpuno izbaciti gluten iz hrane. Strogo se držite bezglutenske hrane i pratite reakcije svog tijela. Ako imate intoleranciju na gluten, odmah će nestati svi znakovi probavnih smetnji, iscrpljenosti, dehidracije. Ako niste osjetljivi na gluten, nećete primijetiti nikakve promjene u odgovoru vašeg tijela ni u prvoj ni u drugoj fazi testa.

Specifični sindromi intolerancije na gluten razlikuju se od osobe do osobe. Možete doživjeti sve gore navedene sindrome ili samo neke. Najčešći simptom osoba s osjetljivošću na gluten je probavna smetnja. Budući da njihovo tijelo ne može razgraditi gluten, imaju grčeve, nadutost, proljev i plinove. Drugi neprobavni simptomi intolerancije na gluten uključuju migrene, “moždanu maglu”, iscrpljenost, zadržavanje vode i bolove u zglobovima.

Budući da nepodnošljivost glutena dovodi do upale, simptomi se mogu pojaviti i na koži. Možda ćete imati više akni, više problema s psorijazom i ekcemom ako jedete puno glutena. Obično svi ovi simptomi nestaju sami od sebe ako se gluten izbaci iz prehrane.

Ako niste osjetili nijedan od gore navedenih simptoma, možete se opustiti i nastaviti jesti gluten. Ako jeste, bit će potrebne ozbiljne promjene načina života.
