Proslavljeni hrvatski paparazzo Jadran Lazić, koji dugi niz godina živi na relaciji Hvar - Los Angeles, posljednjih dana je na Otoku sunca, gdje u hvarskom hotelu "Palace Elisabeth" priprema glamuroznu izložbu stotinjak svojih fotografija, a koja će u Crvenom salonu ostati otvorena sve do 20. listopada ove godine.

No, manje je poznato da Lazić nije samo umjetnička i humana duša, on je istodobno i veliki forski težok ili mu barem nastoji odati svu počast, pa tako na svom imanju na Vorhu, području iznad Zavale i Gromin Dolca, gaji 300 busenova lavande, 900 maslina i 250 smokava. Budući da je ovih dana vrijeme od žanjanja biljke ljubičastog cvijeta, okupio je ekipu i sve su riješili u jedan dan, ali ova žetva bila je posve drukčija od svih ranijih.

Istina je da se prema trudima starih Hvarana trebamo odnositi s posebnim poštovanjem, na mom imanju svi su suhozidi, gomile i trimi sačuvani. Lavanda je kroz povijest bila hraniteljica brojnih obitelji na otoku, pa zašto je onda ne bismo cijenili. Ove godine se okupilo dvadesetak mojih prijatelja, opet je sve organizirao Jurica Gurdulić, pa ništa nije bilo teško. Klas "Vere" je bio nešto manji, pa smo u destileriji Leni Aleši u Starome Gradu "izlambikali" svega tri litre ulja. Meni dosta - neću reći da je ovo bila tužna žetva, jer je poanta da se u dobrom druženju prikupi ljetina i ispeče nešto mesa na špicu, ali je bila prva žetva bez moje majke Slavke, koja je nažalost preminula u prosincu prošle godine i zato sam je na neki način posvetio upravo njoj - rekao je Lazić.

Naravno, s majkom ili bez majke nikad nije ista atmosfera, ali ipak je nešto lakše kad je čovjek okružen pravim prijateljima koji se također dostojno odnose prema lokalnoj baštini i tradiciji, prema otočanima koji su čitav taj prelijepi hvarski ambijent stoljećima stvarali s velikim marom, isključivo svojim žuljevitim rukama. Sada su na škoj stigli neki novi ljudi, poput našeg paparazza, a on nam kaže da sve svoje ulje od lavande odnese i daruje prijateljima u Americi. Baš mu je žao što hrvatsko tržište praktično još uvijek nije prepoznalo pravu vrijednost tog ekstrakvalitetnog proizvoda, a da nekim slučajem jest, zasigurno bi bilo puno više lavande ne samo na Hvaru, nego općenito u priobalju, možda i u ostalim krajevima Lijepe naše.

Proslavljeni hrvatski paparazzo Jadran Lazić, koji dugi niz godina živi na relaciji Hvar - Los Angeles, posljednjih dana je na Otoku sunca, gdje u hvarskom hotelu "Palace Elisabeth" priprema glamuroznu izložbu stotinjak svojih fotografija, a koja će u Crvenom salonu ostati otvorena sve do 20. listopada ove godine.

No, manje je poznato da Lazić nije samo umjetnička i humana duša, on je istodobno i veliki forski težok ili mu barem nastoji odati svu počast, pa tako na svom imanju na Vorhu, području iznad Zavale i Gromin Dolca, gaji 300 busenova lavande, 900 maslina i 250 smokava. Budući da je ovih dana vrijeme od žanjanja biljke ljubičastog cvijeta, okupio je ekipu i sve su riješili u jedan dan, ali ova žetva bila je posve drukčija od svih ranijih.

Istina je da se prema trudima starih Hvarana trebamo odnositi s posebnim poštovanjem, na mom imanju svi su suhozidi, gomile i trimi sačuvani. Lavanda je kroz povijest bila hraniteljica brojnih obitelji na otoku, pa zašto je onda ne bismo cijenili. Ove godine se okupilo dvadesetak mojih prijatelja, opet je sve organizirao Jurica Gurdulić, pa ništa nije bilo teško. Klas "Vere" je bio nešto manji, pa smo u destileriji Leni Aleši u Starome Gradu "izlambikali" svega tri litre ulja. Meni dosta - neću reći da je ovo bila tužna žetva, jer je poanta da se u dobrom druženju prikupi ljetina i ispeče nešto mesa na špicu, ali je bila prva žetva bez moje majke Slavke, koja je nažalost preminula u prosincu prošle godine i zato sam je na neki način posvetio upravo njoj - rekao je Lazić.

Naravno, s majkom ili bez majke nikad nije ista atmosfera, ali ipak je nešto lakše kad je čovjek okružen pravim prijateljima koji se također dostojno odnose prema lokalnoj baštini i tradiciji, prema otočanima koji su čitav taj prelijepi hvarski ambijent stoljećima stvarali s velikim marom, isključivo svojim žuljevitim rukama. Sada su na škoj stigli neki novi ljudi, poput našeg paparazza, a on nam kaže da sve svoje ulje od lavande odnese i daruje prijateljima u Americi. Baš mu je žao što hrvatsko tržište praktično još uvijek nije prepoznalo pravu vrijednost tog ekstrakvalitetnog proizvoda, a da nekim slučajem jest, zasigurno bi bilo puno više lavande ne samo na Hvaru, nego općenito u priobalju, možda i u ostalim krajevima Lijepe naše.
