Ovaj kvarnerski otok CNN je namijenio nudistima, uz tekst u kojem se navodi da je Rab rodno mjesto modernog „golišavog kupanja“.

Zaslugu za takav „slavni glas“ Raba dobrim bi dijelom svakako trebalo pripisati jednom engleskom monarhu koji je na otoku zasijao „sjeme nudizma“ još prije Drugog svjetskog rata.

CNN, naime, navodi da je kralj Edward VIII sa suprugom Wallis Simpson 1936. godine dobio dozvolu gradskih vlasti za kupanje bez odjeće na području Kandalore i da se od tada na tom otoku njeguje tradicija nudizma.

Kao dobra lokacija za nudiste istaknut je Lopar sa svoje tri plaže - Sahara, Stolac i Ciganka. Nakon kupanja, CNN preporuča posjet gradu Rabu, odnosno tamošnjem starom gradu.

CNN, naime, navodi da je kralj Edward VIII sa suprugom Wallis Simpson 1936. godine dobio dozvolu gradskih vlasti za kupanje bez odjeće na području Kandalore i da se od tada na tom otoku njeguje tradicija nudizma.

Kao dobra lokacija za nudiste istaknut je Lopar sa svoje tri plaže - Sahara, Stolac i Ciganka. Nakon kupanja, CNN preporuča posjet gradu Rabu, odnosno tamošnjem starom gradu.

Zahvaljujući svojim plažama, otok Rab uvršten je među CNN-ovih desetsvjetskih otoka koje različiti profili turista svakako trebajuposjetiti.
