Rijetka gramofonska ploča Beatlesa, slučajno pronađena u jednom londonskom stanu, prodana je na aukciji za 77.500 funta, piše BBC.

Vrlo rijetko izdanje na vinilu od 10 cola, snimljeno je u rotacijskoj brzini od 78 okretaja u minuti i izrađeno u HMV trgovini na londonskom Oxford Streetu. Znalcima je ploča izdana 1962. poput Svetog Grala. Na jednoj njezinoj strani snimljena je pjesma "Till There Was You", a na drugoj "Hello Little Girl". 

Riječ je o prvoj ploči Beatlesa izdanoj prije nego što se band popeo visoko na domaćim ljestvicama, a dodatnu vrijednost predstavljaju rukom njihova tadašnjeg menadžera Briana Epsteina ispisani nazivi pjesama na središnjem dijelu vinilnog izdanja.

Iz aukcijske kuće Omega Auctions rekli su da ih je više nego ugodno iznenadila postignuta cijena koju je jedan obožavatelj iz Manchestera odlučio izdvojiti za takvu rijetkost. Ploča je stajala zaboravljena pedesetak godina u stanu Lesa Maguirea, klavijaturista grupe Garry and the Pacemakers. 

Snimka je nastala kako bi se mladom bandu omogućilo sklapanje ugovora te je ponuđena na preslušavanje budućem producentu Beatlesa Georgeu Martinu, koji je preminuo u ožujku ove godine.

Maguireu (74) je ploču još 1963. poklonio Epstein.

Povjesničar legendarnih Beatlesa Mark Lewisohn opisao ju je kao "jednu od najrjeđih i kolekcionarima najpoželjnijih ploča Beatlesa".

Rijetka gramofonska ploča Beatlesa, slučajno pronađena u jednom londonskom stanu, prodana je na aukciji za 77.500 funta, piše BBC.

Vrlo rijetko izdanje na vinilu od 10 cola, snimljeno je u rotacijskoj brzini od 78 okretaja u minuti i izrađeno u HMV trgovini na londonskom Oxford Streetu. Znalcima je ploča izdana 1962. poput Svetog Grala. Na jednoj njezinoj strani snimljena je pjesma "Till There Was You", a na drugoj "Hello Little Girl". 

Riječ je o prvoj ploči Beatlesa izdanoj prije nego što se band popeo visoko na domaćim ljestvicama, a dodatnu vrijednost predstavljaju rukom njihova tadašnjeg menadžera Briana Epsteina ispisani nazivi pjesama na središnjem dijelu vinilnog izdanja.

Iz aukcijske kuće Omega Auctions rekli su da ih je više nego ugodno iznenadila postignuta cijena koju je jedan obožavatelj iz Manchestera odlučio izdvojiti za takvu rijetkost. Ploča je stajala zaboravljena pedesetak godina u stanu Lesa Maguirea, klavijaturista grupe Garry and the Pacemakers. 

Snimka je nastala kako bi se mladom bandu omogućilo sklapanje ugovora te je ponuđena na preslušavanje budućem producentu Beatlesa Georgeu Martinu, koji je preminuo u ožujku ove godine.

Maguireu (74) je ploču još 1963. poklonio Epstein.

Povjesničar legendarnih Beatlesa Mark Lewisohn opisao ju je kao "jednu od najrjeđih i kolekcionarima najpoželjnijih ploča Beatlesa".
