U povodu Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv ubijanja tuljana, danas je udruga "Prijatelji životinja" u prosvjednoj povorci zagrebačkim gradskim središtem okupila 300-ak aktivista i građana koji su izrazili nezadovoljstvo zbog ubijanja tih životinja radi, kako su rekli, profita i glamura.

Prosvjednici su pozvali Europsku uniju da zakonom zabrani trgovinu proizvodima od tuljana, a kanadskome Veleposlanstvu predali su prosvjedno pismo sa zahtjevom da se u toj zemlji zaustavi ubijanje tuljana.

Predsjednik udruge "Prijatelji životinja" Luka Oman novinarima je izjavio kako im je želja da glasna poruka iz Hrvatske ode Europskoj uniji, od koje se očekuje da učini ono što je Hrvatska već učinila i zabrani uvoz proizvoda od tuljana. 

Oman je među ostalim rekao da je udruga "Prijatelji životinja" u suradnji s drugim udrugama u svijetu prije dva mjeseca pokrenula međunarodnu kampanju da se zaustavi lov na tuljane u Kanadi.

 Istaknuo je da su zahvale poslali vlastima Slovenije, Hrvatske, Belgije, Nizozemske i Letonije, koje su već zabranile trgovinu proizvodima od tuljana.

Na današnjem prosvjedu u Zagrebu aktivisti su uzvikivali parole, poput: "Krzno je sramota", "Krzno boli" i "Krzno je okrutnost..." Na natpisima je stajalo: "Spasimo tuljane", "Stop pokolju tuljana", "Protiv krzna", "Krzno nema opravdanja", "Okrutnost nije ženstvenost" i "Krzno je ubojstvo s predumišljajem."

Skup je proticao mirno dok prosvjednici nisu došli do trgovine krznom u Masarykovoj ulici, gdje se među prosvjednicima isprječio nepoznati čovjek u bijeloj kuti, vjerovatno uposlenik jedne od obližnjih radnji. Žešći fizički obračun spriječila je policija / Dragan Matić / CROPIX

U povodu Međunarodnog dana borbe protiv ubijanja tuljana, danas je udruga "Prijatelji životinja" u prosvjednoj povorci zagrebačkim gradskim središtem okupila 300-ak aktivista i građana koji su izrazili nezadovoljstvo zbog ubijanja tih životinja radi, kako su rekli, profita i glamura.

Prosvjednici su pozvali Europsku uniju da zakonom zabrani trgovinu proizvodima od tuljana, a kanadskome Veleposlanstvu predali su prosvjedno pismo sa zahtjevom da se u toj zemlji zaustavi ubijanje tuljana.

Predsjednik udruge "Prijatelji životinja" Luka Oman novinarima je izjavio kako im je želja da glasna poruka iz Hrvatske ode Europskoj uniji, od koje se očekuje da učini ono što je Hrvatska već učinila i zabrani uvoz proizvoda od tuljana. 

Oman je među ostalim rekao da je udruga "Prijatelji životinja" u suradnji s drugim udrugama u svijetu prije dva mjeseca pokrenula međunarodnu kampanju da se zaustavi lov na tuljane u Kanadi.

 Istaknuo je da su zahvale poslali vlastima Slovenije, Hrvatske, Belgije, Nizozemske i Letonije, koje su već zabranile trgovinu proizvodima od tuljana.

Na današnjem prosvjedu u Zagrebu aktivisti su uzvikivali parole, poput: "Krzno je sramota", "Krzno boli" i "Krzno je okrutnost..." Na natpisima je stajalo: "Spasimo tuljane", "Stop pokolju tuljana", "Protiv krzna", "Krzno nema opravdanja", "Okrutnost nije ženstvenost" i "Krzno je ubojstvo s predumišljajem."

Skup je proticao mirno dok prosvjednici nisu došli do trgovine krznom u Masarykovoj ulici, gdje se među prosvjednicima isprječio nepoznati čovjek u bijeloj kuti, vjerovatno uposlenik jedne od obližnjih radnji. Žešći fizički obračun spriječila je policija / Dragan Matić / CROPIX
