Pariz ima svoj Montmartre, a Dubrovnik Božidarevićevu ulicu.

Kao što su neki od najvećih umjetnika od 19. do 21. stoljeća živjeli i stvarali na Montmartreu (Vincent van Gogh, Pierre Brissaud, Alfred Jarry, Henri Matisse, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Maurice Utrilo, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Amadeo Modigliani), tako i u ulici nazvanoj po jednom od najvećih slikara renesansnog Dubrovnika, Nikoli Božidareviću, žive ili su neko vrijeme živjeli i stvarali poznati dubrovački umjetnici (Josip Škerlj, Antun Masle, Joško Baica, Feđa Šehović, Miljenko Vikić, Miše Martinović).

Nedaleko od samog početka te ulice i mjesta gdje se ona odvaja od glavne dubrovačke ulice, žile kucavice drevnoga Grada, Straduna, upravo je okončano uređenje luksuznih apartmana nazvanih "Palacio Celeste".

Spomen na Celestina Medovića

I ime asocira na još jednog umjetnika, slikara Celestina Medovića, ali i na dubrovački kultni lounge restaurant-bar "Cele". Gostima koji odsjednu u "Celesteu" po principu bed & breakfast doručak će biti poslužen u spomenutom "Cele gourmet & lounge baru".

Riječ je o udarnoj poziciji, "prvom redu" uz Stradun kao neslužbenu modnu pistu i mjesto koje pohode svi globtroteri i hedonisti što iz cijelog svijeta dohode u Dubrovnik.

A o "Celi" je dovoljno navesti staru dubrovačku izreku: Tko dovoljno dugo sjedi na Stradunu, može vidjeti cijeli svijet kako prolazi! A gosti "Palacio Celestea" imat će bogatu i raznovrsnu ponudu doručka, svi će pronaći nešto po svom guštu: od obilnog engleskog doručka, omleta s povrćem, kroasana, poširanih jaja "na nizozemski" (holandez doručak), fitness varijante sa žitaricama, voćni smoothie, slasni francuski tost ili mekane američke palačinke.

Što reći o "Palacio Celeste"? Prostor dvoetažnog stana u renesansnoj jezgri Grada sačuvao je dušu minulih vremena, o čemu svjedoče i do najsitnijeg detalja stručno restaurirani primjerci starog namještaja: od komoda s izvornim porculanskim jedaćim i priborom za kavu ili čaj te keramičkim bokalom za vodu.

Tu je i stari, izvrsno obnovljeni stol u lobiju kao i, neki bi rekli, prastari "Singer" stroj za šivanje, starinski "buro" (što je dubrovački naziv za ormarić u kojem se čuvaju čaše i rozolin, odnosno tradicionalni liker od ruža), jedan od rijetkih sačuvanih primjeraka namještaja bez kojeg se prije nije mogla zamisliti ni jedna viđenija plemenitaška, ali ni građanska kuća.

'Širenje' prostora

Interijer odiše atmosferom Dubrovnika iz razdoblja na razmeđu konca Dubrovačke Republike i dolaska Habsburške monarhije, o čemu autor uređenja, poznati splitski arhitekt Duje Kaliterna, kaže:

– Smješten u nekadašnjem derutnom dvoetažnom stambenom prostoru, "Palacio Celeste" predstavljao je pravi izazov za projektiranje.

Najteža je bila dobra organizacija prostora, a pokušali smo slijediti originalni raspored prostorija s centralnom ''saločom'' (prijamni prostor), i to smo uspjeli, kao i brojne povijesne detalje i komade namještaja koji su ostali do današnjih dana. No, sad su brižno restaurirani.

Izazov je bio dobiti i osjećaj prostornosti. Prostorije nisu velikih dimenzija, pa smo s bojama i odabirom materijala vizualno otvorili prostore, a prirodnim materijalima kao što su drvo, lan, pamuk stvorili smo ugodan ambijent.

I rasvjeta djeluje blago i diskretno, sve je podređeno ugodnom odmoru. Uspjeli smo "otvoriti" stropove i stara je konstrukcija postala vidljiva te pridonosi ukupnom ugođaju.

Što još reći, nego da ove riječi treba samo potvrditi porukom slavnog Georgea Bernarda Shawa koji je, dolazeći u Dubrovnik upravo u vrijeme kada su kuće gospara odisale ovakvim ozračjem, za Grad o kojem je poznati lord George Gordon Byron rekao da je "grad biser Jadranskog mora" poentirao i rekao: "Tko traži raj na zemlji, trebao bi posjetiti Dubrovnik!"

Pariz ima svoj Montmartre, a Dubrovnik Božidarevićevu ulicu.

Kao što su neki od najvećih umjetnika od 19. do 21. stoljeća živjeli i stvarali na Montmartreu (Vincent van Gogh, Pierre Brissaud, Alfred Jarry, Henri Matisse, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Maurice Utrilo, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Amadeo Modigliani), tako i u ulici nazvanoj po jednom od najvećih slikara renesansnog Dubrovnika, Nikoli Božidareviću, žive ili su neko vrijeme živjeli i stvarali poznati dubrovački umjetnici (Josip Škerlj, Antun Masle, Joško Baica, Feđa Šehović, Miljenko Vikić, Miše Martinović).

Nedaleko od samog početka te ulice i mjesta gdje se ona odvaja od glavne dubrovačke ulice, žile kucavice drevnoga Grada, Straduna, upravo je okončano uređenje luksuznih apartmana nazvanih "Palacio Celeste".

Spomen na Celestina Medovića

I ime asocira na još jednog umjetnika, slikara Celestina Medovića, ali i na dubrovački kultni lounge restaurant-bar "Cele". Gostima koji odsjednu u "Celesteu" po principu bed & breakfast doručak će biti poslužen u spomenutom "Cele gourmet & lounge baru".

Riječ je o udarnoj poziciji, "prvom redu" uz Stradun kao neslužbenu modnu pistu i mjesto koje pohode svi globtroteri i hedonisti što iz cijelog svijeta dohode u Dubrovnik.

A o "Celi" je dovoljno navesti staru dubrovačku izreku: Tko dovoljno dugo sjedi na Stradunu, može vidjeti cijeli svijet kako prolazi! A gosti "Palacio Celestea" imat će bogatu i raznovrsnu ponudu doručka, svi će pronaći nešto po svom guštu: od obilnog engleskog doručka, omleta s povrćem, kroasana, poširanih jaja "na nizozemski" (holandez doručak), fitness varijante sa žitaricama, voćni smoothie, slasni francuski tost ili mekane američke palačinke.

Što reći o "Palacio Celeste"? Prostor dvoetažnog stana u renesansnoj jezgri Grada sačuvao je dušu minulih vremena, o čemu svjedoče i do najsitnijeg detalja stručno restaurirani primjerci starog namještaja: od komoda s izvornim porculanskim jedaćim i priborom za kavu ili čaj te keramičkim bokalom za vodu.

Tu je i stari, izvrsno obnovljeni stol u lobiju kao i, neki bi rekli, prastari "Singer" stroj za šivanje, starinski "buro" (što je dubrovački naziv za ormarić u kojem se čuvaju čaše i rozolin, odnosno tradicionalni liker od ruža), jedan od rijetkih sačuvanih primjeraka namještaja bez kojeg se prije nije mogla zamisliti ni jedna viđenija plemenitaška, ali ni građanska kuća.

'Širenje' prostora

Interijer odiše atmosferom Dubrovnika iz razdoblja na razmeđu konca Dubrovačke Republike i dolaska Habsburške monarhije, o čemu autor uređenja, poznati splitski arhitekt Duje Kaliterna, kaže:

– Smješten u nekadašnjem derutnom dvoetažnom stambenom prostoru, "Palacio Celeste" predstavljao je pravi izazov za projektiranje.

Najteža je bila dobra organizacija prostora, a pokušali smo slijediti originalni raspored prostorija s centralnom ''saločom'' (prijamni prostor), i to smo uspjeli, kao i brojne povijesne detalje i komade namještaja koji su ostali do današnjih dana. No, sad su brižno restaurirani.

Izazov je bio dobiti i osjećaj prostornosti. Prostorije nisu velikih dimenzija, pa smo s bojama i odabirom materijala vizualno otvorili prostore, a prirodnim materijalima kao što su drvo, lan, pamuk stvorili smo ugodan ambijent.

I rasvjeta djeluje blago i diskretno, sve je podređeno ugodnom odmoru. Uspjeli smo "otvoriti" stropove i stara je konstrukcija postala vidljiva te pridonosi ukupnom ugođaju.

Što još reći, nego da ove riječi treba samo potvrditi porukom slavnog Georgea Bernarda Shawa koji je, dolazeći u Dubrovnik upravo u vrijeme kada su kuće gospara odisale ovakvim ozračjem, za Grad o kojem je poznati lord George Gordon Byron rekao da je "grad biser Jadranskog mora" poentirao i rekao: "Tko traži raj na zemlji, trebao bi posjetiti Dubrovnik!"
