“Iako se putnicima čini da se avion spušta na desetke i stotine metara, trzaj visine koji možemo vidjeti je samo 3-4 metra. Gledajući na turbulenciju iz znanstvene perspektive – turbulencija je samo vjetar. Mi piloti često i ne razmišljamo o tome“, objasnio je pilot Patrick Smith u intervjuu kojeg prenosi National Geographic. 

Određeni uvjeti mogu uzrokovati turbulencije zrakoplova, poput blizine planinskih vrhova ili olujnih kumulonimbusnih oblaka. Prema istraživanju objavljenom 2017. godine, učestalost turbulencija naglo će se povećati nakon 2050. godine, zbog klimatskih promjena.

Više globalne temperature dovest će do nestabilnijih vjetrova, velikih amplituda i stvarat će još češće "džepove" jakog vjetra. Iako je turbulencija obično neizbježna, piloti je općenito mogu pokušati izbjeći na temelju vremenske prognoze i podataka o vjetru. Zapravo, većina modernih zrakoplova koristi posebne algoritme za praćenje vrlo turbulentnih područja. Vertikalne struje uzrokovane munjom su najopasnije, iako je pilotima onaj najlakša za uočiti i izbjeći.

Koliko je turbulencija opasna?

Postoje primjeri prema kojima su turbulencije imale veliku ulogu u padu zrakoplova. Jedan od najtragičnijih je primjer iz 1966. godine, kada je avion udario planinu Fuji u kojoj su poginule 124 osobe. Međutim, na sreću, ovi slučajevi nisu česti.

Također, osim turbulencije, potrebni su i neki drugi detalji da bi se dogodila nesreća, poput nedostataka u dizajnu zrakoplova ili ljudske pogreške, a što se ovih predispozicija tiče, mnogo se toga promijenilo i napredovalo od 1966. godine.

Danas, avionski promet spada u jedan od najsigurnijih vidova transporta. Statistika kaže da se 0,07 fatalnih nesreća događa na prijeđenih bilijun kilometara komercijalnim letovima.

Za automobile taj postotak nesreća je 7,28, a za motocikle i preko 212. Nešto manje od 100 ljudi se povrijedi tokom turbulencija na godišnjem nivou, prema statistici koju daje Federal Aviation Administration.

Turbulencija je sama po sebi stresna, a ozljede se mogu izbjeći zahvaljujući dobro pričvršćenom sigurnosnom pojasu i sigurno pohranjenoj prtljagi.

“Iako se putnicima čini da se avion spušta na desetke i stotine metara, trzaj visine koji možemo vidjeti je samo 3-4 metra. Gledajući na turbulenciju iz znanstvene perspektive – turbulencija je samo vjetar. Mi piloti često i ne razmišljamo o tome“, objasnio je pilot Patrick Smith u intervjuu kojeg prenosi National Geographic. 

Određeni uvjeti mogu uzrokovati turbulencije zrakoplova, poput blizine planinskih vrhova ili olujnih kumulonimbusnih oblaka. Prema istraživanju objavljenom 2017. godine, učestalost turbulencija naglo će se povećati nakon 2050. godine, zbog klimatskih promjena.

Više globalne temperature dovest će do nestabilnijih vjetrova, velikih amplituda i stvarat će još češće "džepove" jakog vjetra. Iako je turbulencija obično neizbježna, piloti je općenito mogu pokušati izbjeći na temelju vremenske prognoze i podataka o vjetru. Zapravo, većina modernih zrakoplova koristi posebne algoritme za praćenje vrlo turbulentnih područja. Vertikalne struje uzrokovane munjom su najopasnije, iako je pilotima onaj najlakša za uočiti i izbjeći.

Koliko je turbulencija opasna?

Postoje primjeri prema kojima su turbulencije imale veliku ulogu u padu zrakoplova. Jedan od najtragičnijih je primjer iz 1966. godine, kada je avion udario planinu Fuji u kojoj su poginule 124 osobe. Međutim, na sreću, ovi slučajevi nisu česti.

Također, osim turbulencije, potrebni su i neki drugi detalji da bi se dogodila nesreća, poput nedostataka u dizajnu zrakoplova ili ljudske pogreške, a što se ovih predispozicija tiče, mnogo se toga promijenilo i napredovalo od 1966. godine.

Danas, avionski promet spada u jedan od najsigurnijih vidova transporta. Statistika kaže da se 0,07 fatalnih nesreća događa na prijeđenih bilijun kilometara komercijalnim letovima.

Za automobile taj postotak nesreća je 7,28, a za motocikle i preko 212. Nešto manje od 100 ljudi se povrijedi tokom turbulencija na godišnjem nivou, prema statistici koju daje Federal Aviation Administration.

Turbulencija je sama po sebi stresna, a ozljede se mogu izbjeći zahvaljujući dobro pričvršćenom sigurnosnom pojasu i sigurno pohranjenoj prtljagi.

“Iako se putnicima čini da se avion spušta na desetke i stotine metara, trzaj visine koji možemo vidjeti je samo 3-4 metra. Gledajući na turbulenciju iz znanstvene perspektive – turbulencija je samo vjetar. Mi piloti često i ne razmišljamo o tome“, objasnio je pilot Patrick Smith u intervjuu kojeg prenosi National Geographic. 

Određeni uvjeti mogu uzrokovati turbulencije zrakoplova, poput blizine planinskih vrhova ili olujnih kumulonimbusnih oblaka. Prema istraživanju objavljenom 2017. godine, učestalost turbulencija naglo će se povećati nakon 2050. godine, zbog klimatskih promjena.

Više globalne temperature dovest će do nestabilnijih vjetrova, velikih amplituda i stvarat će još češće "džepove" jakog vjetra. Iako je turbulencija obično neizbježna, piloti je općenito mog...
