-Volim svoga muža ali ne znam mogu li više podnijeti njegovo hrkanje noću- obratila nam se je jedna Splićanka koja za dobrobit braka već godinama trpi neugodne zvukove i nastavila.

-Borim se sama sa sobom i nesanicom jer ne želim da jedno spava u krevetu a drugo na kauču ali više ne mogu. Izluđuje me i satima ne mogu zaspati zbog njega, dodala je.

Sa sličnim problemom obratila nam se je i druga sugovornica koja je supruga čak snimala jednu noć da mu pokaže kako zvukovi koje ispušta zvuče!

- Strašno, to je jednostavno strašno. Ne znaš je li se životinja glasa ili čovjek. Decibeli i tonovi se izmjenjuju od visokih piskutanja do niskog medvjeđeg rikanja, nekad se prepadnem i zapitam s kime ja to ležim u krevetu. I s godinama je samo sve gore. Ne pomaže ni guranje laktom, deranje usred noći da prestane, pa čak ni buđenje jer čim ponovno zaspe sve počne ispočetka- veli s očajom u glasu.

Hrkanje može biti posljedica vašeg stila života, ali važno je otkriti njegov uzrok. Najbolje je otići na pregled kod otorinolaringologa koji kirurški može riješiti problem.

Doc.dr.sc. Draško Cikojević, specijalist otorinolaringologije, subspecijalist plastične kirurgije glave i vrata pojašnjava što dovodi do hrkanja.

- Hrkanje uzrokuje otežan protok zraka kroz nosnu i usnu šupljinu, uslijed čega dolazi do vibracije sluznice ždrijela i stvaranja karakterističnih zvukova. Slabiju prohodnost nosa nalazimo kod devijacije nosne pregrade, nosne polipoze, alergijskog i nealergijskog rinitisa, upale sinusa, te tumora, a kod djece je najčešći uzrok uvećan treći krajnik.

Smetnje protoku zraka u usnoj šupljini nastaju kod uvećanih tonzila, velike i edematozne resice, lošeg tonusa mišića u ždrijelu koji se dodatno pogoršava uzimanjem alkohola. Češće je u odraslih muških pretilih osoba, kazao je dr. Cikojević i dodao da  ukoliko tijekom sna uz hrkanje dolazi i do povremenih prekida disanja tada je riječ o opstruktivnoj sleep apneji (OSA).

Može li se liječiti?

-Kirurško liječenje je prvi izbor kod opstruktivnih smetnji. To su relativno standardne operacije, tako da ne postoji neki značajniji rizik za operacije, odgovara Cikojević.

Postoje li vježbe koje bi smanjile hrkanje?

-Preporučuju se određene higijensko-dijetetske mjere: izbjegavanje alkohola osobito navečer, reguliranje tjelesne težine, spavanje na boku, kaže ovaj specijalist otorinolaringologije i spominje da mu  pacijenti često dolaze zbog tog problema.

- Da, vrlo često dolaze, osobito bračni partneri. Zbog hrkanja druga osoba ne može spavati te često dolazi do bračne krize i spavanja u zasebnim sobama. A problem se nekad riješi vrlo jednostavno i vrati se mir u bračni život. Čest je razlog devijacija nosne pregrade i nakon operacije pacijent uredno diše i hrkanje nestaje, kazao je za kraj dr. Cikojević.

-Volim svoga muža ali ne znam mogu li više podnijeti njegovo hrkanje noću- obratila nam se je jedna Splićanka koja za dobrobit braka već godinama trpi neugodne zvukove i nastavila.

-Borim se sama sa sobom i nesanicom jer ne želim da jedno spava u krevetu a drugo na kauču ali više ne mogu. Izluđuje me i satima ne mogu zaspati zbog njega, dodala je.

Sa sličnim problemom obratila nam se je i druga sugovornica koja je supruga čak snimala jednu noć da mu pokaže kako zvukovi koje ispušta zvuče!

- Strašno, to je jednostavno strašno. Ne znaš je li se životinja glasa ili čovjek. Decibeli i tonovi se izmjenjuju od visokih piskutanja do niskog medvjeđeg rikanja, nekad se prepadnem i zapitam s kime ja to ležim u krevetu. I s godinama je samo sve gore. Ne pomaže ni guranje laktom, deranje usred noći da prestane, pa čak ni buđenje jer čim ponovno zaspe sve počne ispočetka- veli s očajom u glasu.

Hrkanje može biti posljedica vašeg stila života, ali važno je otkriti njegov uzrok. Najbolje je otići na pregled kod otorinolaringologa koji kirurški može riješiti problem.

Doc.dr.sc. Draško Cikojević, specijalist otorinolaringologije, subspecijalist plastične kirurgije glave i vrata pojašnjava što dovodi do hrkanja.

- Hrkanje uzrokuje otežan protok zraka kroz nosnu i usnu šupljinu, uslijed čega dolazi do vibracije sluznice ždrijela i stvaranja karakterističnih zvukova. Slabiju prohodnost nosa nalazimo kod devijacije nosne pregrade, nosne polipoze, alergijskog i nealergijskog rinitisa, upale sinusa, te tumora, a kod djece je najčešći uzrok uvećan treći krajnik.

Smetnje protoku zraka u usnoj šupljini nastaju kod uvećanih tonzila, velike i edematozne resice, lošeg tonusa mišića u ždrijelu koji se dodatno pogoršava uzimanjem alkohola. Češće je u odraslih muških pretilih osoba, kazao je dr. Cikojević i dodao da  ukoliko tijekom sna uz hrkanje dolazi i do povremenih prekida disanja tada je riječ o opstruktivnoj sleep apneji (OSA).

Može li se liječiti?

-Kirurško liječenje je prvi izbor kod opstruktivnih smetnji. To su relativno standardne operacije, tako da ne postoji neki značajniji rizik za operacije, odgovara Cikojević.

Postoje li vježbe koje bi smanjile hrkanje?

-Preporučuju se određene higijensko-dijetetske mjere: izbjegavanje alkohola osobito navečer, reguliranje tjelesne težine, spavanje na boku, kaže ovaj specijalist otorinolaringologije i spominje da mu  pacijenti često dolaze zbog tog problema.

- Da, vrlo često dolaze, osobito bračni partneri. Zbog hrkanja druga osoba ne može spavati te često dolazi do bračne krize i spavanja u zasebnim sobama. A problem se nekad riješi vrlo jednostavno i vrati se mir u bračni život. Čest je razlog devijacija nosne pregrade i nakon operacije pacijent uredno diše i hrkanje nestaje, kazao je za kraj dr. Cikojević.
