Za Nenada Vilovića bilo je jasno da je "čovjek ispred svog vremena" još kad je 1975. godine za Olivera Dragojevića napisao antologijsku "2002. godine" – o, kako je to, onako debelo u prošlom stoljeću, futuristički zvučalo!
Neumorni glazbeni pregalac, pravi gospodin među splitskim glazbenicima stare garde, međutim, nije slutio da je baš toliko avangardan kad je pisao album "Prizma", instrumentalno djelo nastalo 1985., a objavljeno – nedavno!
Naime, ovih je dana u vinilu osvanuo u prodaji album za prave glazbene sladokusce, samostalni "složenac" autora Vilovića: skladatelja, tekstopisca, aranžera, glazbenika i producenta, te umjetnika koji je sam odsvirao svih 40 (četrdeset!) glazbala na albumu!

Kako je došlo do objave albuma nakon skoro četiri desetljeća spremljenog "u ladici"?
Leri Ahel i Željko Luketić, čelni ljudi diskografske kuće Fox & His Friends Records, posjetili su Vilovićev studio nakon uspješne suradnje na albumu "Socijalistički disco: Ples iza jugoslavenske baršunaste zavjese 1977. – 1987.", i rečenom su prigodom čuli master-vrpce nikad objavljenog albuma radnog naziva Prizma. Profinjena uha odmah su registrirala da je posrijedi malo remek-djelo...
Zašto se čekalo tako dugo?
Vilović je približio okolnosti tih osamdesetih, prohujalih u vremenu, godina kad se instrumental nije cijenio, kad je publika sklona mediteranskom mainstreamu voljela "poslušati Mišu". Prizma je bila i opet ispred vremena, no došlo je tih famoznih "pet minuta" – u Vilovićevoj sedamdeset i petoj!

Kuriozitet je da se u mnoštvu instrumenata našlo i glazbalo legendarnog Olivera, naime njegov grand piano od Yamahe.
Tih godina ga je sebi kupio. Nazvao me je i rekao da bi htio u studiju probati kako zvuči. Donio ga je u studio, probali smo i snimili. Nakon što je otišao, nikako nije uspijevao pronaći vremena da se vrati po taj klavir. Tako je klavir kod mene stajao oko tri godine – prisjeća se Vilović, autor mnogih pjesama i za druge izvođače; spomenimo samo "Ništa kontra Splita" za Dina Dvornika, "Di si bija kad je grmilo" Đorđija Peruzovića,"Dobre vibracije" za Josipu Lisac...
Vilović je inače bio umjetnički direktor nekoliko važnih glazbenih festivala: Splitskog (od 1998. do – gle – 2002.), Marko Polo festa na Korčuli, Zlatno sunce Mostara...
I danas je živo aktivan, istančanog uha premda sluh nije kao nekad; zvuči kao oksimoron, no činjenica je da slušnim kapacitetom kojim raspolaže nepogrješivo nakon nekoliko tonova detektira ima li skladba potencijal, kvalitetu.

Zapravo, možda Vilovićevo vrijeme tek dolazi; stanuje u urbanoj vili na splitskom Trsteniku u zajednici sa suprugom i voljenom punicom, damom od 101. godine, koja ga ponekad još zovne "mali". Ne sumnjamo da će nas za tridesetak godina iznenaditi još nekim djelom koje piše - možda baš ovih dana.

Za Nenada Vilovića bilo je jasno da je "čovjek ispred svog vremena" još kad je 1975. godine za Olivera Dragojevića napisao antologijsku "2002. godine" – o, kako je to, onako debelo u prošlom stoljeću, futuristički zvučalo!
Neumorni glazbeni pregalac, pravi gospodin među splitskim glazbenicima stare garde, međutim, nije slutio da je baš toliko avangardan kad je pisao album "Prizma", instrumentalno djelo nastalo 1985., a objavljeno – nedavno!
Naime, ovih je dana u vinilu osvanuo u prodaji album za prave glazbene sladokusce, samostalni "složenac" autora Vilovića: skladatelja, tekstopisca, aranžera, glazbenika i producenta, te umjetnika koji je sam odsvirao svih 40 (četrdeset!) glazbala na albumu!

Kako je došlo do objave albuma nakon skoro četiri desetljeća spremljenog "u ladici"?
Leri Ahel i Željko Luketić, čelni ljudi diskografske kuće Fox & His Friends Records, posjetili su Vilovićev studio nakon uspješne suradnje na albumu "Socijalistički disco: Ples iza jugoslavenske baršunaste zavjese 1977. – 1987.", i rečenom su prigodom čuli master-vrpce nikad objavljenog albuma radnog naziva Prizma. Profinjena uha odmah su registrirala da je posrijedi malo remek-djelo...
Zašto se čekalo tako dugo?
Vilović je približio okolnosti tih osamdesetih, prohujalih u vremenu, godina kad se instrumental nije cijenio, kad je publika sklona mediteranskom mainstreamu voljela "poslušati Mišu". Prizma je bila i opet ispred vremena, no došlo je tih famoznih "pet minuta" – u Vilovićevoj sedamdeset i petoj!

Kuriozitet je da se u mnoštvu instrumenata našlo i glazbalo legendarnog Olivera, naime njegov grand piano od Yamahe.
Tih godina ga je sebi kupio. Nazvao me je i rekao da bi htio u studiju probati kako zvuči. Donio ga je u studio, probali smo i snimili. Nakon što je otišao, nikako nije uspijevao pronaći vremena da se vrati po taj klavir. Tako je klavir kod mene stajao oko tri godine – prisjeća se Vilović, autor mnogih pjesama i za druge izvođače; spomenimo samo "Ništa kontra Splita" za Dina Dvornika, "Di si bija kad je grmilo" Đorđija Peruzovića,"Dobre vibracije" za Josipu Lisac...
Vilović je inače bio umjetnički direktor nekoliko važnih glazbenih festivala: Splitskog (od 1998. do – gle – 2002.), Marko Polo festa na Korčuli, Zlatno sunce Mostara...
I danas je živo aktivan, istančanog uha premda sluh nije kao nekad; zvuči kao oksimoron, no činjenica je da slušnim kapacitetom kojim raspolaže nepogrješivo nakon nekoliko tonova detektira ima li skladba potencijal, kvalitetu.

Zapravo, možda Vilovićevo vrijeme tek dolazi; stanuje u urbanoj vili na splitskom Trsteniku u zajednici sa suprugom i voljenom punicom, damom od 101. godine, koja ga ponekad još zovne "mali". Ne sumnjamo da će nas za tridesetak godina iznenaditi još nekim djelom koje piše - možda baš ovih dana.
