Matea Meden mlada je žena koja je dva puta pobijedila tešku bolest, akutnu limfoblastičnu leukemiju. Prvi put kao desetogodišnja djevojčica, a drugi kao 27. godišnja žena. O svojoj borbi s bolesti ispričala je novinarima Večernjeg lista:

- Kao dijete nisam shvaćala što se zapravo događa, znala sam da sam jako bolesna, da je to rak krvi, no nisam razumjela pravo značenje i opasnost te bolesti. Kada sam imala prvu leukemiju, liječenja nisu izgledala niti približno kao sada. Transplantacije matičnih stanica nisu bile svakodnevne kao što su sada. Liječila sam se u KBC-u Šalata, ondje smo imali i osnovnoškolsku nastavu s obzirom na to da smo mnogo vremena provodili u bolnici. U pamćenju su mi urezane većinom lijepe stvari koje su medicinske sestre radile za nas, na primjer pekle palačinke, davale nam prazne šprice da se igramo itd. Najdraže mi je bilo vrijeme posjeta jer sam uvijek jedva čekala da me mama, tata ili baka posjete. Sjećam se i da su tada punkcije koštane srži bile puno bolnije, sada se ne rade na isti način kao što su se radile tada pa nisu toliko traumatske za djecu, mada je to i dan danas jedna od najgorih stvari koje sam prošla.

Matea se uspjela izliječiti, ali nakon nekoliko godina bolest se vratila. Opet se dugotrajno liječila: od sredine 2019. do kraja iste godine liječila se kemoterapijom, prošla šest ciklusa kemoterapije te nakon toga alogenu transplantaciju matičnih stanica. 

Nakon što su prošle tri godine od transplantacije, nakon administrativnog dijela, u 10. mjesecu prošle godine napokon je saznala tko je njezin donora. To je mladi dečko, Julian iz Njemačke kojeg će ovo ljeto i upoznati.

- Fizički sam sada više ograničena nego prije bolesti, ali to me ne zaustavlja da i dalje živim i radim stvari koje sam voljela i volim raditi, kaže Matea Meden za Večernji list.

Matea Meden mlada je žena koja je dva puta pobijedila tešku bolest, akutnu limfoblastičnu leukemiju. Prvi put kao desetogodišnja djevojčica, a drugi kao 27. godišnja žena. O svojoj borbi s bolesti ispričala je novinarima Večernjeg lista:

- Kao dijete nisam shvaćala što se zapravo događa, znala sam da sam jako bolesna, da je to rak krvi, no nisam razumjela pravo značenje i opasnost te bolesti. Kada sam imala prvu leukemiju, liječenja nisu izgledala niti približno kao sada. Transplantacije matičnih stanica nisu bile svakodnevne kao što su sada. Liječila sam se u KBC-u Šalata, ondje smo imali i osnovnoškolsku nastavu s obzirom na to da smo mnogo vremena provodili u bolnici. U pamćenju su mi urezane većinom lijepe stvari koje su medicinske sestre radile za nas, na primjer pekle palačinke, davale nam prazne šprice da se igramo itd. Najdraže mi je bilo vrijeme posjeta jer sam uvijek jedva čekala da me mama, tata ili baka posjete. Sjećam se i da su tada punkcije koštane srži bile puno bolnije, sada se ne rade na isti način kao što su se radile tada pa nisu toliko traumatske za djecu, mada je to i dan danas jedna od najgorih stvari koje sam prošla.

Matea se uspjela izliječiti, ali nakon nekoliko godina bolest se vratila. Opet se dugotrajno liječila: od sredine 2019. do kraja iste godine liječila se kemoterapijom, prošla šest ciklusa kemoterapije te nakon toga alogenu transplantaciju matičnih stanica. 

Nakon što su prošle tri godine od transplantacije, nakon administrativnog dijela, u 10. mjesecu prošle godine napokon je saznala tko je njezin donora. To je mladi dečko, Julian iz Njemačke kojeg će ovo ljeto i upoznati.

- Fizički sam sada više ograničena nego prije bolesti, ali to me ne zaustavlja da i dalje živim i radim stvari koje sam voljela i volim raditi, kaže Matea Meden za Večernji list.

Mlada Hrvatica dvaput je preboljela leukemiju: ‘I dalje živim i radim stvari koje sam voljela i volim raditi‘

Matea Meden mlada je žena koja je dva puta pobijedila tešku bolest, akutnu limfoblastičnu leukemiju. Prvi put kao desetogodišnja djevojčica, a drugi kao 27. godišnja žena. O svojoj borbi s bolesti ispričala je novinarima Večernjeg lista:

- Kao dijete nisam shvaćala što se zapravo događa, znala sam da sam jako bolesna, da je to rak krvi, no nisam razumjela pravo značenje i opasnost te bolesti. Kada sam imala prvu leukemiju, liječenja nisu izgledala niti približno kao sada. Transplantacije matičnih stanica nisu bile svakodnevne kao što su sada. Liječila sam se u KBC-u Šalata, ondje smo imali i osnovnoškolsku nastavu s obzirom na to da smo mnogo vremena provodili u bolnici. U pamćenju su mi urezane većinom lijepe stvari koje su medicinske sestre radile za nas, na primjer pekle palačinke, davale nam prazne šprice da se igramo itd. Najdraže mi je bilo vrijeme posjeta jer sam uvijek jedva čekala da me mama, tata ili baka posjete. Sjećam se i da su tada punkcije koštane srži bile puno bolnije, sada se ne rade na isti način kao što su se radile tada pa nisu toliko traumatske za djecu, mada je to i dan danas jedna od najgorih stvari koje sam prošla. 

Matea se uspjela izliječiti, ali nakon nekoliko godina bolest se vratila. Opet se dugotrajno liječila: od sredine 2019. do kraja iste godine liječila se kemoterapijom, prošla šest ciklusa kemoterapije te nakon toga alogenu transplantaciju matičnih stanica. 

Nakon što su prošle tri godine od transplantacije, nakon administrativnog dijela, u 10. mjesecu prošle godine napokon je saznala tko je njezin donora. To je mladi dečko, Julian iz Njemačke kojeg će ovo ljeto i upoznati.

- Fizički sam sada više ograničena nego prije bolesti, ali to me ne zaustavlja da i dalje živim i radim stvari koje sam voljela i volim raditi, kaže Matea Meden za Večernji list.
