Naime, Berkery je plod trodnevne afere Toma Jonesa iz 1987. s manekenkom Kathryn Berkery.

Tada 47-godišnji Jones je odbio priznati sina, tvrdeći da nije njegov, iako je DNK test pokazao suprotno, zbog čega je morao plaćati alimentaciju, ali je bio škrt na emotivnoj podršci.

Godinama kasnije, Jonathan je postao ovisnik o drogi i delinkvent. Spavao je po klupama i skloništima za beskućnike, a zatim se učlanio u bandu.

- Za sve krivim svog oca. Nisam to shvaćao ranije, ali bio sam bijesno dijete, kome je očinska figura mnogo nedostajala. Nikada me nije nazvao da mi čestita rođendan. U meni se nagomilalo toliko bijesa da sam postao buntovnik. U školi sam se stalno tukao, a umjesto na svog oca, ugledao sam se na starije probisvjete. Travu sam počeo pušiti sa 16 godina, a zatim sam prešao na pilule, ecstasy i kokain. Sa sobom sam nosio dva pištolja koje sam nazivao braćom - rekao je Jonathan, danas liječeni narkoman i diler, koji mašta o tome da postane pjevač.

- Volio bih se pojaviti u showu "The Voice". Pjevao bih pred njim, dok bi me promatrao iz velike stolice. Tada bi shvatio da sam njegov sin, a ja bih mu pokazao srednji prst.

Tada 47-godišnji Jones je odbio priznati sina, tvrdeći da nije njegov, iako je DNK test pokazao suprotno, zbog čega je morao plaćati alimentaciju, ali je bio škrt na emotivnoj podršci.

Godinama kasnije, Jonathan je postao ovisnik o drogi i delinkvent. Spavao je po klupama i skloništima za beskućnike, a zatim se učlanio u bandu.

- Za sve krivim svog oca. Nisam to shvaćao ranije, ali bio sam bijesno dijete, kome je očinska figura mnogo nedostajala. Nikada me nije nazvao da mi čestita rođendan. U meni se nagomilalo toliko bijesa da sam postao buntovnik. U školi sam se stalno tukao, a umjesto na svog oca, ugledao sam se na starije probisvjete. Travu sam počeo pušiti sa 16 godina, a zatim sam prešao na pilule, ecstasy i kokain. Sa sobom sam nosio dva pištolja koje sam nazivao braćom - rekao je Jonathan, danas liječeni narkoman i diler, koji mašta o tome da postane pjevač.

- Volio bih se pojaviti u showu "The Voice". Pjevao bih pred njim, dok bi me promatrao iz velike stolice. Tada bi shvatio da sam njegov sin, a ja bih mu pokazao srednji prst.
