Jer, Arsena znam još iz gimnazijskih šibenskih dana. Premda je dvije godine mlađi od mene, pridružio se tada našem društvu intelektualaca koji smo raspravljali o filozofiji, umjetnosti, filmu; Vice Vukov, Ante Peterlić… doživljavali smo ga kao dio naše generacije. Pamtim operetu koju smo radili kao gimnazijalci, "Veg od Maroka", tamo 53. ili 54. godine, Arsen je svirao u orkestru, a znam da je i on to pamtio jer je o tome pričao na komemoraciji Vici Vukovu.

Družili smo se, imali smo zajedničke teme za diskusiju, a poslije je napisao niz glazbi za moje predstave. Sve u svemu, cijeli život kontaktiramo, ne svakodnevno, jer on je bio u Zagrebu, a ja u Šibeniku, no posjećivali smo se i sjećali mnogih stvari. On je, onako duhovit, znao to ispričati na poseban način.

Njegov odlazak je gubitak koji me pogodio. Istina, očekivao sam to. Pratio sam sve faze njegove bolesti i njemu se desilo isto što i Krsti Papiću, operacija, pa sepsa nakon koje je otišao…. Nije me njegov odlazak iznenadio, koliko rastužio, kazao je književnik i scenarist:

Jer, Arsena znam još iz gimnazijskih šibenskih dana. Premda je dvije godine mlađi od mene, pridružio se tada našem društvu intelektualaca koji smo raspravljali o filozofiji, umjetnosti, filmu; Vice Vukov, Ante Peterlić… doživljavali smo ga kao dio naše generacije. Pamtim operetu koju smo radili kao gimnazijalci, "Veg od Maroka", tamo 53. ili 54. godine, Arsen je svirao u orkestru, a znam da je i on to pamtio jer je o tome pričao na komemoraciji Vici Vukovu.

Družili smo se, imali smo zajedničke teme za diskusiju, a poslije je napisao niz glazbi za moje predstave. Sve u svemu, cijeli život kontaktiramo, ne svakodnevno, jer on je bio u Zagrebu, a ja u Šibeniku, no posjećivali smo se i sjećali mnogih stvari. On je, onako duhovit, znao to ispričati na poseban način.

Njegov odlazak je gubitak koji me pogodio. Istina, očekivao sam to. Pratio sam sve faze njegove bolesti i njemu se desilo isto što i Krsti Papiću, operacija, pa sepsa nakon koje je otišao…. Nije me njegov odlazak iznenadio, koliko rastužio, kazao je književnik i scenarist:

Premda je dvije godine mlađi od mene, pridružio se tada našem društvu intelektualaca koji smo raspravljali o filozofiji, umjetnosti, filmu; Vice Vukov, Ante Peterlić… doživljavali smo ga kao dio naše generacije.
