Tim znanstvenika s Medicinskog univerziteta u Japanu htio je otkriti utječe li rano izlaganje djeteta alergenima na daljnji razvoj alergija na hranu, piše National Geographic.

"Higijenska hipoteza sugerira da je izlaganje kućnim ljubimcima efikasan način da se smanji šansa za razvoj alergija, a neke studije su već sugerirale o korisnim efektima izlaganja psima tijekom razvoja fetusa ili ranog djetinjstva i manjoj šansi za nastanak neke od alergija na hranu", objavili su istraživači u svom radu.

Je li higijenska hipoteza točna?

Proučavanjem informacija koje su dobivene od roditelja preko 66.000 mališana, znanstvenici su došli do zaključka da djeca izložena psima i mačkama u zatvorenom prostoru imaju otprilike 22 posto manje šanse da razviju neku od alergija na hranu, uključujući jaja, mlijeko, orašaste plodove, pšenicu i soju.

Ono što nisu definirali jasno je da li se ovo odnosi i na pse koji žive vani. S druge strane, kod djece koja za kućnog ljubimca imaju hrčka, primijećeno je da imaju veće šanse za razvijanje alergije na orašaste plodove. 

Važno je znati da ova studija nije dovoljna da bi se utvrdio uzrok alergija, iako je mišljenje znanstvenika da izlaganje kućnim ljubimcima utječe na crijevnu floru djece, ali i da ih štiti od atopijskog dermatitisa.

Tim znanstvenika s Medicinskog univerziteta u Japanu htio je otkriti utječe li rano izlaganje djeteta alergenima na daljnji razvoj alergija na hranu, piše National Geographic.

"Higijenska hipoteza sugerira da je izlaganje kućnim ljubimcima efikasan način da se smanji šansa za razvoj alergija, a neke studije su već sugerirale o korisnim efektima izlaganja psima tijekom razvoja fetusa ili ranog djetinjstva i manjoj šansi za nastanak neke od alergija na hranu", objavili su istraživači u svom radu.

Je li higijenska hipoteza točna?

Proučavanjem informacija koje su dobivene od roditelja preko 66.000 mališana, znanstvenici su došli do zaključka da djeca izložena psima i mačkama u zatvorenom prostoru imaju otprilike 22 posto manje šanse da razviju neku od alergija na hranu, uključujući jaja, mlijeko, orašaste plodove, pšenicu i soju.

Ono što nisu definirali jasno je da li se ovo odnosi i na pse koji žive vani. S druge strane, kod djece koja za kućnog ljubimca imaju hrčka, primijećeno je da imaju veće šanse za razvijanje alergije na orašaste plodove. 

Važno je znati da ova studija nije dovoljna da bi se utvrdio uzrok alergija, iako je mišljenje znanstvenika da izlaganje kućnim ljubimcima utječe na crijevnu floru djece, ali i da ih štiti od atopijskog dermatitisa.

Tim znanstvenika s Medicinskog univerziteta u Japanu htio je otkriti utječe li rano izlaganje djeteta alergenima na daljnji razvoj alergija na hranu, piše National Geographic.

"Higijenska hipoteza sugerira da je izlaganje kućnim ljubimcima efikasan način da se smanji šansa za razvoj alergija, a neke studije su već sugerirale o korisnim efektima izlaganja psima tijekom razvoja fetusa ili ranog djetinjstva i manjoj šansi za nastanak neke od alergija na hranu", objavili su istraživači u svom radu.
