Maske su u pandemiji koronavirusa postale onaj predmet koji provjeravate jeste li ponijeli prilikom izlaska iz kuće. Uz ključeve, mobitel i novčanik, nezamislivo je danas krenuti u dan bez zaštitne maske za lice koja je obavezna prilikom ulaska u zatvorene prostore poput trgovina, banki, pošte, trgovačkih centara.
Jednom kad su znanstvenici svijetu poručili da su upravo maske onaj detalj koji nas može spasiti od zaraze, u njihovu su učinkovitost prestali dvojiti ne svi, ali mnogi skeptici. Ipak, mnogi držeći se zaštitnih mjera rade, pa i na dnevnoj bazi, greške, koje bi mogle smanjiti učinkovitost njihove maske za lice.
Koji je najbolji način za čuvanje maski?
Pitanje možemo i preformulirati: gdje čuvati maske za lice kad ih ne nosimo? Stručnjaci su odgovoriti i na to, a Huffington Post donosi kratke upute za sve koji se nalaze u dilemi kad je snalaženje u pandemiji u pitanju.
Odredite čisto, suho mjesto za skladištenje maski, prvo je pravilo koje naglašavaju. Pokušajte ih držati podalje od ostalih predmeta koje redovito dodirujete, a izbjegavajte i dodirivanje rukama koje nisu potpuno čiste. Ljudi zaboravljaju na to da bi zaštitne maske u pravilu trebalo dirati isključivo tek opranim ili dezinficiranim rukama, kaže infektolog Peter Chin-Hong.

"Primjerice, maske ne bih držao u ladici u kojoj čuvam donje rublje ili onoj gdje stoje kuhinjski ubrusi. Ali ne morate razbijati glavu oko laboratorijskih uvjeta za čuvanje... Najvažnije je da odredite mjesto koje će biti rezervirano samo za njih", kaže.
Ako imate poteškoća sa samim nošenjem maski ili ih redovito zaboravite ponijeti prije izlaska iz stana, pobrinite se da mjesto gdje ih čuvate bude blizu izlaznih vrata. Najbolje ih je objesiti u zasebni dio ormara u predvorju.
Poželjno je i da, kad je riječ o ljudima iz istog kućanstva, svatko brine za svoju masku. Isto tako, da ih ne držite na istom mjestu.
Ne zaboravite na redovito pranje
Maske ne biste trebali nositi izravno u torbi, u džepu ili ruksaku gdje mogu dodirivati potencijalno kontaminirane predmete. Prije izlaska iz stana, čistim rukama stavite masku u papirnatu vrećicu i tek onda u torbu. Možete je nositi i u posebnom neseseru.
Prilikom stavljanja, ne dodirujte središnji dio maske koji ide preko usta i nosa, već je hvatajte za vezice.
Perive maske potrebno je oprati nakon svakog nošenja, a one kirurške zamijeniti. Sušite ih na suncu i prođite peglom prije korištenja.

Maske su u pandemiji koronavirusa postale onaj predmet koji provjeravate jeste li ponijeli prilikom izlaska iz kuće. Uz ključeve, mobitel i novčanik, nezamislivo je danas krenuti u dan bez zaštitne maske za lice koja je obavezna prilikom ulaska u zatvorene prostore poput trgovina, banki, pošte, trgovačkih centara.
Jednom kad su znanstvenici svijetu poručili da su upravo maske onaj detalj koji nas može spasiti od zaraze, u njihovu su učinkovitost prestali dvojiti ne svi, ali mnogi skeptici. Ipak, mnogi držeći se zaštitnih mjera rade, pa i na dnevnoj bazi, greške, koje bi mogle smanjiti učinkovitost njihove maske za lice.
Koji je najbolji način za čuvanje maski?
Pitanje možemo i preformulirati: gdje čuvati maske za lice kad ih ne nosimo? Stručnjaci su odgovoriti i na to, a Huffington Post donosi kratke upute za sve koji se nalaze u dilemi kad je snalaženje u pandemiji u pitanju.
Odredite čisto, suho mjesto za skladištenje maski, prvo je pravilo koje naglašavaju. Pokušajte ih držati podalje od ostalih predmeta koje redovito dodirujete, a izbjegavajte i dodirivanje rukama koje nisu potpuno čiste. Ako imate poteškoća sa samim nošenjem maski ili ih redovito zaboravite ponijeti prije izlaska iz stana, pobrinite se da mjesto gdje ih čuvate bude blizu izlaznih vrata. Najbolje ih je objesiti u zasebni dio ormara u predvorju.
Poželjno je i da, kad je riječ o ljudima iz istog kućanstva, svatko brine za svoju masku. Isto tako, da ih ne držite na istom mjestu.
Ne zaboravite na redovito pranje
Maske ne biste trebali nositi izravno u torbi, u džepu ili ruksaku gdje mogu dodirivati potencijalno kontaminirane predmete. Prije izlaska iz stana, čistim rukama stavite masku u papirnatu vrećicu i tek onda u torbu. Možete je nositi i u posebnom neseseru.
Prilikom stavljanja, ne dodirujte središnji dio maske koji ide preko usta i nosa, već je hvatajte za vezice.
Perive maske potrebno je oprati nakon svakog nošenja, a one kirurške zamijeniti. Sušite ih na suncu i prođite peglom prije korištenja.
