Kako temperature nastavljaju rasti, važno je upamtiti da one mogu biti itekako opasne. S obzirom na to da su pred nama i srpanj i kolovoz, visoke temperature će biti naša svakodnevice. Iako može biti zabavno uživati u toplini, to može donijeti i stvarnu opasnost od toplinskog udara.
Toplinski udar je ozbiljno stanje koje je obično uzrokovano visokim temperaturama zraka ili vježbanjem. U tom stanju tijelo se više ne može ohladiti i unutarnja temperatura doseže opasno visoke razine.
Stanje može zahvatiti svakoga, ali stariji od 75 godina, bebe, ljudi koji imaju ozbiljnu ili dugotrajnu bolest mogli bi biti izloženi većem riziku, prema Nacionalnoj zdravstvenoj službi (NHS).
Jedan tihi simptom ovog stanja je osjećaj velike vrućine, ali bez znojenja. Ako netko pokazuje znakove toplinske iscrpljenosti, treba ga ohladiti i dati mu tekućinu, dodaje NHS.
Koji su drugi simptomi toplotnog udara?
Ako predugo sjedite na suncu, mogli biste doživjeti nešto što se zove toplinska iscrpljenost, piše Živim.
To je prirodna reakcija tijela na pregrijavanje, prekomjerni gubitak vode i soli, obično zbog pretjeranog znojenja.
Kada se to dogodi, možete osjetiti glavobolju, vrtoglavicu i zbunjenost, mučninu i grčeve - što se lako može zamijeniti s toplinskim udarom.
Međutim, za toplinsku iscrpljenost, NHS kaže da bi vaši simptomi trebali nestati unutar 30 minuta nakon hlađenja.
Toplinski udar, s druge strane, opasniji je i traje dulje, ali je puno rjeđi. Postoji razlog za zabrinutost kada počnete pokazivati ovih pet ekstremnih simptoma:
- Osjećate se zbunjeno
- Nemate reakcije ili gubite svijest
- Imate napadaj
- Temperatura tijela vam je iznad 40 ºC
- Ubrzano ili nepravilno dišete
Odmah pozovite hitnu ako osjećate ove simptome.
Kako izbjeći ova opasna stanja?
Stručnjaci kažu da može biti potrebno samo deset minuta da izgorite na suncu i 15 minuta da dobijete toplinski udar, u najgorem slučaju.
Prema NHS-u, evo nekoliko načina na koje možete ostati hladni tijekom toplijeg vremena:
- Držite se podalje od vrućine ako možete
- Ako morate izaći van, ostanite u hladu, osobito između 11 i 15 sati, nosite kremu za sunčanje, šešir i laganu odjeću
- Izbjegavajte tjelovježbu ili aktivnost koja vas čini vrućima
- Jedite hladnu hranu i piće, izbjegavajte alkohol, kofein i tople napitke
- Istuširajte se hladnom vodom ili stavite hladnu vodu na kožu ili odjeću
- Zatvorite prozore danju i otvorite ih noću kada vani temperatura padne
Električni ventilatori mogu pomoći ako je temperatura ispod 35 ºC.

Kako temperature nastavljaju rasti, važno je upamtiti da one mogu biti itekako opasne. S obzirom na to da su pred nama i srpanj i kolovoz, visoke temperature će biti naša svakodnevice. Iako može biti zabavno uživati u toplini, to može donijeti i stvarnu opasnost od toplinskog udara.
Toplinski udar je ozbiljno stanje koje je obično uzrokovano visokim temperaturama zraka ili vježbanjem. U tom stanju tijelo se više ne može ohladiti i unutarnja temperatura doseže opasno visoke razine.
Stanje može zahvatiti svakoga, ali stariji od 75 godina, bebe, ljudi koji imaju ozbiljnu ili dugotrajnu bolest mogli bi biti izloženi većem riziku, prema Nacionalnoj zdravstvenoj službi (NHS).
Jedan tihi simptom ovog stanja je osjećaj velike vrućine, ali bez znojenja. Ako netko pokazuje znakove toplinske iscrpljenosti, treba ga ohladiti i dati mu tekućinu, dodaje NHS.
Koji su drugi simptomi toplotnog udara?
Ako predugo sjedite na suncu, mogli biste doživjeti nešto što se zove toplinska iscrpljenost, piše Živim.
To je prirodna reakcija tijela na pregrijavanje, prekomjerni gubitak vode i soli, obično zbog pretjeranog znojenja.
Kada se to dogodi, možete osjetiti glavobolju, vrtoglavicu i zbunjenost, mučninu i grčeve - što se lako može zamijeniti s toplinskim udarom.
Međutim, za toplinsku iscrpljenost, NHS kaže da bi vaši simptomi trebali nestati unutar 30 minuta nakon hlađenja.
Toplinski udar, s druge strane, opasniji je i traje dulje, ali je puno rjeđi. Postoji razlog za zabrinutost kada počnete pokazivati ovih pet ekstremnih simptoma:
- Osjećate se zbunjeno
- Nemate reakcije ili gubite svijest
- Imate napadaj
- Temperatura tijela vam je iznad 40 ºC
- Ubrzano ili nepravilno dišete
Odmah pozovite hitnu ako osjećate ove simptome.
Kako izbjeći ova opasna stanja?
Stručnjaci kažu da može biti potrebno samo deset minuta da izgorite na suncu i 15 minuta da dobijete toplinski udar, u najgorem slučaju.
Prema NHS-u, evo nekoliko načina na koje možete ostati hladni tijekom toplijeg vremena:
- Držite se podalje od vrućine ako možete
- Ako morate izaći van, ostanite u hladu, osobito između 11 i 15 sati, nosite kremu za sunčanje, šešir i laganu odjeću
- Izbjegavajte tjelovježbu ili aktivnost koja vas čini vrućima
- Jedite hladnu hranu i piće, izbjegavajte alkohol, kofein i tople napitke
- Istuširajte se hladnom vodom ili stavite hladnu vodu na kožu ili odjeću
- Zatvorite prozore danju i otvorite ih noću kada vani temperatura padne
Električni ventilatori mogu pomoći ako je temperatura ispod 35 ºC.
