Znatno više žena nego muškaraca suočava se s mentalnim problemima koji su se razvili kao posljedica pandemije koronavirusa, jer teže podnose mjere izolacije uvedene u cilju borbe protiv Covida-19, pokazalo je britansko istraživanje. 

Znanstvenici s Instituta za društvena i ekonomska istraživanja pri Sveučilištu Essex, Lisa Spantig i Ben Etheridge, na temelju provedene ankete zaključili su da žene teže od muškaraca podnose socijalnu izolaciju uvedenu u sklopu mjera karante. 

Njihova studija je otkrila i da se broj osoba s najmanje jednim ozbiljnim mentalnim poremećajem nakon mjera karantene povećao među oba spola, piše Guardian. 

Među muškarcima je dio onih s jednim težim psihičkim problemom porastao sa 7 posto posto na 18, a među ženama s 11 na 27 posto.

Više posla oko djece i kuće

Studije provedene u Sjedinjenim Državama i u Velikoj Britaniji tijekom karantene ukazale su na pad osjećaja dobrobiti i među muškarcima i među ženama.

Ekonomski čimbenici navodili su se kao glavni razlozi zbog kojih je više žena nego muškaraca odgovorilo da je na njihovo mentalno zdravlje utjecala pandemija.

"No istraživanje je pokazalo da su žene 'izvukle kraći kraj slamke' u različitim područjima.

Primjerice, u više su slučajeva izgubile posao", kazao je Etheridge.

Izostanak društvenih odnosa

Među ostalim faktorima pada osjećaja dobrobiti među ženama navodi se i manjak vremena za fizičku aktivnost, ali i činjenica da su žene imale više posla brinući o djeci te da im se povećao opseg i intenzitet kućanskih poslova.

No Etheridge ističe da najnovije istraživanje ukazuje na to da je žensku populaciju najteže pogodio izostanak društvenih odnosa.

"Žene obično imaju više bliskih prijatelja i prijateljica. Donedavna zabrana viđanja dragih osoba izvan vlastitog kućanstva u žena je rezultirala smanjenjem osjećaja mentalne dobrobiti", kazao je Etheridge. 

Više od trećine sudionica studije ili oko 34 posto odgovorilo je da se za vrijeme karantene povremeno osjećalo usamljeno, a 11 posto ih je kazalo da su se često osjećale usamljeno.

Među muškarcima ih je na isto pitanje 23 posto odgovorilo da se povremeno osjećaju usamljeno, a samo 6 posto ih je kazalo da se često osjećaju usamljeno.

Anketa se temelji na online komunikaciji s osobama koje su sudjelovale u studiji provedenoj u britanskim kućanstvima, a svrha joj je bila znanstvenicima omogućiti praćenje psihičkog stanja Britanaca za vrijeme karantene.

Rezultate ankete o tomu na koji se način ljudi bore s izolacijom u vrijeme pandemije koronavirusa 'pojačali' su podacima s internetskih stranica. Rezultati analize Google trendsa otkrili su da se u brojnim državama svijeta povećao broj pretraga pojmova poput "usamljenosti", "brige" i "tuge".

Etheridge je kazao i da su posljedice 'koronakrize' u prosjeku najviše utjecale na mentalno zdravlje mladih žena do 30 godina, a izolacijom i karantenom najmanje su pogođeni muškarci u dobi između 50 and 69 godina.

Znatno više žena nego muškaraca suočava se s mentalnim problemima koji su se razvili kao posljedica pandemije koronavirusa, jer teže podnose mjere izolacije uvedene u cilju borbe protiv Covida-19, pokazalo je britansko istraživanje. 

Znanstvenici s Instituta za društvena i ekonomska istraživanja pri Sveučilištu Essex, Lisa Spantig i Ben Etheridge, na temelju provedene ankete zaključili su da žene teže od muškaraca podnose socijalnu izolaciju uvedenu u sklopu mjera karante. 

Njihova studija je otkrila i da se broj osoba s najmanje jednim ozbiljnim mentalnim poremećajem nakon mjera karantene povećao među oba spola, piše Guardian. 

Među muškarcima je dio onih s jednim težim psihičkim problemom porastao sa 7 posto posto na 18, a među ženama s 11 na 27 posto.

Više posla oko djece i kuće

Studije provedene u Sjedinjenim Državama i u Velikoj Britaniji tijekom karantene ukazale su na pad osjećaja dobrobiti i među muškarcima i među ženama.

Ekonomski čimbenici navodili su se kao glavni razlozi zbog kojih je više žena nego muškaraca odgovorilo da je na njihovo mentalno zdravlje utjecala pandemija.

"No istraživanje je pokazalo da su žene 'izvukle kraći kraj slamke' u različitim područjima.

Primjerice, u više su slučajeva izgubile posao", kazao je Etheridge.

Izostanak društvenih odnosa

Među ostalim faktorima pada osjećaja dobrobiti među ženama navodi se i manjak vremena za fizičku aktivnost, ali i činjenica da su žene imale više posla brinući o djeci te da im se povećao opseg i intenzitet kućanskih poslova.

No Etheridge ističe da najnovije istraživanje ukazuje na to da je žensku populaciju najteže pogodio izostanak društvenih odnosa.

"Žene obično imaju više bliskih prijatelja i prijateljica. Donedavna zabrana viđanja dragih osoba izvan vlastitog kućanstva u žena je rezultirala smanjenjem osjećaja mentalne dobrobiti", kazao je Etheridge. 

Više od trećine sudionica studije ili oko 34 posto odgovorilo je da se za vrijeme karantene povremeno osjećalo usamljeno, a 11 posto ih je kazalo da su se često osjećale usamljeno.

Među muškarcima ih je na isto pitanje 23 posto odgovorilo da se povremeno osjećaju usamljeno, a samo 6 posto ih je kazalo da se često osjećaju usamljeno.

Anketa se temelji na online komunikaciji s osobama koje su sudjelovale u studiji provedenoj u britanskim kućanstvima, a svrha joj je bila znanstvenicima omogućiti praćenje psihičkog stanja Britanaca za vrijeme karantene.

Rezultate ankete o tomu na koji se način ljudi bore s izolacijom u vrijeme pandemije koronavirusa 'pojačali' su podacima s internetskih stranica. Rezultati analize Google trendsa otkrili su da se u brojnim državama svijeta povećao broj pretraga pojmova poput "usamljenosti", "brige" i "tuge".

Etheridge je kazao i da su posljedice 'koronakrize' u prosjeku najviše utjecale na mentalno zdravlje mladih žena do 30 godina, a izolacijom i karantenom najmanje su pogođeni muškarci u dobi između 50 and 69 godina.

Znatno više žena nego muškaraca suočava se s mentalnim problemima koji su se razvili kao posljedica pandemije koronavirusa, jer teže podnose mjere izolacije uvedene u cilju borbe protiv Covida-19, pokazalo je britansko istraživanje. 

Znanstvenici s Instituta za društvena i ekonomska istraživanja pri Sveučilištu Essex, Lisa Spantig i Ben Etheridge, na temelju provedene ankete zaključili su da žene teže od muškaraca podnose socijalnu izolaciju uvedenu u sklopu mjera karante. 

Njihova studija je otkrila i da se broj osoba s najmanje jednim ozbiljnim mentalnim poremećajem nakon mjera karantene povećao među oba spola, piše Guardian. 

Među muškarcima je dio onih s jednim težim psihičkim problemom porastao sa 7 posto posto na 18, a među ženama s 11 na 27 posto....
