Preplanuli ten, iako se smatra poželjnim, čini pojedince zadovoljnijima i pogrešno se ponekad tumači kao znak zdravog izgleda. Zapravo se radi o reakciji kože na izlaganje štetnim djelovanjima UV zračenja. Preplanula boja kože rezultat je obrane od djelovanja UV zračenja koje oštećuje kožu. ‘Zdrave opekline kože’ ne postoje. Svako pretjerano izlaganje UV zračenju može rezultirati strukturnim oštećenja kože. Kratkoročno, ova šteta može se očitovati kao ‘izgaranje’, osjetljivost i ožiljci, a dugoročno kao fotostarenje. Fotostarenje, uzrokovano razgradnjom kolagena u koži , manifestira se smanjenjem elastičnosti kože, pojavom dubokih bora i finih linija, hiperpigmentacijama i staračkim pjegama, upozorava Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo.

Prema preporukama Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO), korištenje solarija ne preporučuje se kod osoba mlađih od 18 godina, a mnoge zemlje u svijetu upravo su to i zabranile. Uporaba solarija u Brazilu i Australiji u svrhu dobivanja preplanulog tena je zabranjena, kako za mlade tako i za odrasle.

Za UV zračenje iz solarija smatra se da ima slične zdravstvene učinke kao i prirodno, sunčevo UV zračenje. U ovome području postoji zabluda o sigurnosti solarija jer emitira pretežno UVA zrake, za razliku od UVB, koje su razlog nastajanja opeklina.  UVA zrake također dovode do negativnih strukturalnih promjena u koži. Jednako tako, najčešći argumenti ‘za’ solarije su priprema kože za izlaganje suncu tijekom npr. godišnjih odmora i sinteza vitamina D. U stvarnosti, preplanulost stečena korištenjem solarija pruža vrlo ograničenu zaštitu od opeklina sunca, a vitamin D sintetizira se u dovoljnim količinama tijekom uobičajenog, svakodnevnog izlaganja suncu.

Korištenje solarija u svakom slučaju ne preporučuje se osobama svjetlije puti i osobama s upalnim promjenama na koži, kao i za vrijeme terapije određenim lijekovima ili nakon određenih kozmetičkih tretmana te trudnicama.

U slučaju korištenja, svakako potražite provjerene pružatelje usluga, koji će se pobrinuti o pravilnoj provedbi tretmana i zaštiti osjetljivih područja, kao i uputama za postupanje prije i nakon tretmana, upozorava HZJZ.

Preplanuli ten, iako se smatra poželjnim, čini pojedince zadovoljnijima i pogrešno se ponekad tumači kao znak zdravog izgleda. Zapravo se radi o reakciji kože na izlaganje štetnim djelovanjima UV zračenja. Preplanula boja kože rezultat je obrane od djelovanja UV zračenja koje oštećuje kožu. ‘Zdrave opekline kože’ ne postoje. Svako pretjerano izlaganje UV zračenju može rezultirati strukturnim oštećenja kože. Kratkoročno, ova šteta može se očitovati kao ‘izgaranje’, osjetljivost i ožiljci, a dugoročno kao fotostarenje. Fotostarenje, uzrokovano razgradnjom kolagena u koži , manifestira se smanjenjem elastičnosti kože, pojavom dubokih bora i finih linija, hiperpigmentacijama i staračkim pjegama, upozorava Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo.

Prema preporukama Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO), korištenje solarija ne preporučuje se kod osoba mlađih od 18 godina, a mnoge zemlje u svijetu upravo su to i zabranile. Uporaba solarija u Brazilu i Australiji u svrhu dobivanja preplanulog tena je zabranjena, kako za mlade tako i za odrasle.

Za UV zračenje iz solarija smatra se da ima slične zdravstvene učinke kao i prirodno, sunčevo UV zračenje. U ovome području postoji zabluda o sigurnosti solarija jer emitira pretežno UVA zrake, za razliku od UVB, koje su razlog nastajanja opeklina.  UVA zrake također dovode do negativnih strukturalnih promjena u koži. Jednako tako, najčešći argumenti ‘za’ solarije su priprema kože za izlaganje suncu tijekom npr. godišnjih odmora i sinteza vitamina D. U stvarnosti, preplanulost stečena korištenjem solarija pruža vrlo ograničenu zaštitu od opeklina sunca, a vitamin D sintetizira se u dovoljnim količinama tijekom uobičajenog, svakodnevnog izlaganja suncu.

Korištenje solarija u svakom slučaju ne preporučuje se osobama svjetlije puti i osobama s upalnim promjenama na koži, kao i za vrijeme terapije određenim lijekovima ili nakon određenih kozmetičkih tretmana te trudnicama.

U slučaju korištenja, svakako potražite provjerene pružatelje usluga, koji će se pobrinuti o pravilnoj provedbi tretmana i zaštiti osjetljivih područja, kao i uputama za postupanje prije i nakon tretmana, upozorava HZJZ.

Oprezno sa solarijima: preplanula koža rezultat je obrane od djelovanja UV zračenja koje oštećuje kožu

Preplanuli ten, iako se smatra poželjnim, čini pojedince zadovoljnijima i pogrešno se ponekad tumači kao znak zdravog izgleda. Zapravo se radi o reakciji kože na izlaganje štetnim djelovanjima UV zračenja. Preplanula boja kože rezultat je obrane od djelovanja UV zračenja koje oštećuje kožu. ‘Zdrave opekline kože’ ne postoje. Svako pretjerano izlaganje UV zračenju može rezultirati strukturnim oštećenja kože. Kratkoročno, ova šteta može se očitovati kao ‘izgaranje’, osjetljivost i ožiljci, a dugoročno kao fotostarenje. Fotostarenje, uzrokovano razgradnjom kolagena u koži , manifestira se smanjenjem elastičnosti kože, pojavom dubokih bora i finih linija, hiperpigmentacijama i staračkim pjegama, upozorava Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo.
