Zarazna bolest koja oštećuje mozak i širi se među ljudima ugrizom krpelja prvi put je registrirana na području Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva.

Državni Zavod za javno zdravstvo potvrdio je slučajeve zaraze virosom krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa u dijelovima zemlje. Infekcija može dovesti do upale mozga. Iz Zavoda smiruju stanovništvo i kažu da nema razloga za paniku jer prate situaciju na terenu, prenosi BBC.

Ljudi koji provode dosta vremena na otvorenom i u prirodi su najčešće žrtve uboda. Infekcija je rasprostranjena širom Europe, od Švicarske i baltičkih država do jugoistoka Europe.

Slovenija je godinama jedna od država s najvećim brojem prijavljenih oboljenja. Na stranici Ministarstva poljoprivrede piše da na području RH postoji značajan rizik od infekcije konzumacijom nepasteriziranog mlijeka preživača, prije svega koza, koja može završiti oboljenjima ljudi, pa i smrtnim ishodom.

Krpelj je maleni insekt koji živi u niskom raslinju, a može se nastaniti i na koži životinja. Hrani se krvlju, a iako ne može skakati i letjeti, prelazi velike udaljenosti zakačen na kožu životinja. Stručnjaci vjeruju da su na koži ptica krpelji dospjeli na tlo Ujedinjenog kraljevstva .

Ugriz zaraženog krpelja ne mora značiti da će se osoba razboljeti. Većina ljudi osjeti tek simptome slične gripi. No, valja biti oprezan jer postoji mogućnost ozbiljnijih posljedica. Ako dođe do oštećenja mozga i središnjeg živčanog sustava, infekcija može biti fatalna. 

Krpelji prenose i druge infekcije, poput Lajmske bolesti. Liječnici upozoravaju ljude da ne paničare, ali da ozbiljno shvate ugriz krpelja.

Nakon vađenja insekta, mjesto ugriza treba očistiti antiseptikom ili sapunom i vodom. Ako ste nakon ugriza osjetili simptome prehlade i gripe, trebali biste posjetiti liječnika.

Zarazna bolest koja oštećuje mozak i širi se među ljudima ugrizom krpelja prvi put je registrirana na području Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva.

Državni Zavod za javno zdravstvo potvrdio je slučajeve zaraze virosom krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa u dijelovima zemlje. Infekcija može dovesti do upale mozga. Iz Zavoda smiruju stanovništvo i kažu da nema razloga za paniku jer prate situaciju na terenu, prenosi BBC.

Slovenija je godinama jedna od država s najvećim brojem prijavljenih oboljenja. Na stranici Ministarstva poljoprivrede piše da na području RH postoji značajan rizik od infekcije konzumacijom nepasteriziranog mlijeka preživača, prije svega koza, koja može završiti oboljenjima ljudi, pa i smrtnim ishodom.

Krpelj je maleni insekt koji živi u niskom raslinju, a može se nastaniti i na koži životinja. Hrani se krvlju, a iako ne može skakati i letjeti, prelazi velike udaljenosti zakačen na kožu životinja. Stručnjaci vjeruju da su na koži ptica krpelji dospjeli na tlo Ujedinjenog kraljevstva .

Ugriz zaraženog krpelja ne mora značiti da će se osoba razboljeti. Većina ljudi osjeti tek simptome slične gripi. No, valja biti oprezan jer postoji mogućnost ozbiljnijih posljedica. Ako dođe do oštećenja mozga i središnjeg živčanog sustava, infekcija može biti fatalna. 

Krpelji prenose i druge infekcije, poput Lajmske bolesti. Liječnici upozoravaju ljude da ne paničare, ali da ozbiljno shvate ugriz krpelja.

Nakon vađenja insekta, mjesto ugriza treba očistiti antiseptikom ili sapunom i vodom. Ako ste nakon ugriza osjetili simptome prehlade i gripe, trebali biste posjetiti liječnika.
