U nedavnom intervjuu sa svjetski poznatim splitskim fotografom Jadranom Lazićem, dotakli smo se teme karcinoma debelog crijeva u četvrtom stadiju, od kojeg boluje njegova kći Tamara Lazić.

S obzirom na to da je Tamara i sama liječnica koja živi u New Yorku, a medicina je napravila veliki iskorak, Lazić nam je otkrio kako je njegovoj kćeri ugrađena pumpa koja "dostavlja kemoterapiju izravno u glavnu jetrenu arteriju".

Jednom mjesečno, naime, pumpa se puni lijekom kojise otpušta u organizam pacijenta.

Već nakon prve terapije, kazao nam je Lazić, markeri su pokazali poboljšanje, pa se kod Tamare "konačno jasno vidi da sve to ide u dobrom smjeru", ispričao je zadovoljni otac.

Raspitali smo se o ovoj zanimljivoj metodi i nešto više o svemu saznali od onkologa, dr. sc. Davora Kusta.

“Jetrena arterijska infuzija bi bio postupak liječenja onkoloških bolesnika koji imaju bolest jetre. To mogu biti metastaze ili sami tumori jetre. Poanta je da se jetra opskrbljuje krvlju iz dva izvora, a to je s jedne strane jetrena arterija, a s druge strane portalna vena.

Poznato je da kada imamo malignu bolest u području jetre, da se zdravo tkivo najviše hrani iz portalne vene, dok se tumorsko hrani iz jetrene arterije. Upravo je to iskorišteno u ovoj metodi, pa se putem jetrene arterije direktno pokušava u tumor dopremiti citostatik, odnosno kemoterapija.

Postoji više metoda koje rade na ovom principu, pa se tako, recimo, kod nas često koristi transarterijska kemoembolizacija, a ova metoda je slična, ali ima svoje posebnosti.

Dakle, u trbuh bolesnika ugrađuje se pumpa koja tijekom određenog vremena potiskuje citostatik kroz jetrenu arteriju direktno u sam tumor.

Nije mi poznato izvodi li jetrena arterijska infuzija u Hrvatskoj, nemam saznanja da se izvodi, ali treba naglasiti da ta metoda, koliko je meni poznato, nije u nekim službenim smjernicama liječenja za onkološke bolesnike.

Koristi se u određenim centrima, kao npr. u Americi, i određeni prikaz bolesnika govori da bi možda mogla biti korisna, ali i o tome nemamo dovoljno saznanja.

Bila bi potrebna daljnja istraživanja na većem broju bolesnika da se uopće ustanovi je li i za koga ta metoda zaista prikladna” - objasnio nam je Kust.

Upit na ovu temu poslali smo i Ministarstvu zdravstva i Hrvatskom društvu za internističku onkologiju, no odgovore, ni nakon dva tjedna, nismo dobili.

U nedavnom intervjuu sa svjetski poznatim splitskim fotografom Jadranom Lazićem, dotakli smo se teme karcinoma debelog crijeva u četvrtom stadiju, od kojeg boluje njegova kći Tamara Lazić.

S obzirom na to da je Tamara i sama liječnica koja živi u New Yorku, a medicina je napravila veliki iskorak, Lazić nam je otkrio kako je njegovoj kćeri ugrađena pumpa koja "dostavlja kemoterapiju izravno u glavnu jetrenu arteriju".

Jednom mjesečno, naime, pumpa se puni lijekom kojise otpušta u organizam pacijenta.

Već nakon prve terapije, kazao nam je Lazić, markeri su pokazali poboljšanje, pa se kod Tamare "konačno jasno vidi da sve to ide u dobrom smjeru", ispričao je zadovoljni otac.

Raspitali smo se o ovoj zanimljivoj metodi i nešto više o svemu saznali od onkologa, dr. sc. Davora Kusta.

“Jetrena arterijska infuzija bi bio postupak liječenja onkoloških bolesnika koji imaju bolest jetre. To mogu biti metastaze ili sami tumori jetre. Poanta je da se jetra opskrbljuje krvlju iz dva izvora, a to je s jedne strane jetrena arterija, a s druge strane portalna vena.

Poznato je da kada imamo malignu bolest u području jetre, da se zdravo tkivo najviše hrani iz portalne vene, dok se tumorsko hrani iz jetrene arterije. Upravo je to iskorišteno u ovoj metodi, pa se putem jetrene arterije direktno pokušava u tumor dopremiti citostatik, odnosno kemoterapija.

Postoji više metoda koje rade na ovom principu, pa se tako, recimo, kod nas često koristi transarterijska kemoembolizacija, a ova metoda je slična, ali ima svoje posebnosti.

Dakle, u trbuh bolesnika ugrađuje se pumpa koja tijekom određenog vremena potiskuje citostatik kroz jetrenu arteriju direktno u sam tumor.

Nije mi poznato izvodi li jetrena arterijska infuzija u Hrvatskoj, nemam saznanja da se izvodi, ali treba naglasiti da ta metoda, koliko je meni poznato, nije u nekim službenim smjernicama liječenja za onkološke bolesnike.

Koristi se u određenim centrima, kao npr. u Americi, i određeni prikaz bolesnika govori da bi možda mogla biti korisna, ali i o tome nemamo dovoljno saznanja.

Bila bi potrebna daljnja istraživanja na većem broju bolesnika da se uopće ustanovi je li i za koga ta metoda zaista prikladna” - objasnio nam je Kust.

Upit na ovu temu poslali smo i Ministarstvu zdravstva i Hrvatskom društvu za internističku onkologiju, no odgovore, ni nakon dva tjedna, nismo dobili.

U nedavnom intervjuu sa svjetski poznatim splitskim fotografom Jadranom Lazićem, dotakli smo se teme karcinoma debelog crijeva u četvrtom stadiju, od kojeg boluje njegova kći Tamara Lazić.

S obzirom na to da je Tamara i sama liječnica koja živi u New Yorku, a medicina je napravila veliki iskorak, Lazić nam je otkrio kako je njegovoj kćeri ugrađena pumpa koja "dostavlja kemoterapiju izravno u glavnu jetrenu arteriju".

Jednom mjesečno, naime, pumpa se puni lijekom kojise otpušta u organizam pacijenta.

Već nakon prve terapije, kazao nam je Lazić, markeri su pokazali poboljšanje, pa se kod Tamare "konačno jasno vidi da sve to ide u dobrom smjeru", ispričao je zadovoljni otac.
