Tijekom višemjesečne rasprave na saveznom sudu u San Joseu u Kaliforniji, Apple je optužio Samsung za kršenje patenata kod proizvodnje pametnih telefona, što je Samsung demantirao.

Apple i Samsung vode parnične postupke diljem svijeta već tri godine. Porotnici su na suđenju 2012. nagradili proizvođača iPhonea s oko 930 milijuna dolara, međutim Apple nije uspio uvjeriti američki sud da izda trajnu zabranu prodaje Samsung pametnih telefona.

Aktualni slučaj uključivao je pet Appleovih patenata koji nisu bili obuhvaćeni suđenjem 2012. i koji se odnose na značajke iPhone kao što su slajd za otključavanje i tehnologija pretraživanja. Apple je ponovno zatražio i zabranu prodaje nekoliko Samsung pametnih telefona, uključujući Galaxy S III, te odštetu od preko dvije milijarde dolara.

Samsung je pak tvrdio da je Apple prekršio dva njegova patenta vezana za prijenos video sadržaja te je zatražio zabranu telefona iPhone 5 i odštetu od 6 milijuna dolara. Sud je u petak također odlučio da Apple mora platiti Samsungu 158.400 dolara zbog kršenja patenta.

Apple i Samsung vode parnične postupke diljem svijeta već tri godine. Porotnici su na suđenju 2012. nagradili proizvođača iPhonea s oko 930 milijuna dolara, međutim Apple nije uspio uvjeriti američki sud da izda trajnu zabranu prodaje Samsung pametnih telefona.

Aktualni slučaj uključivao je pet Appleovih patenata koji nisu bili obuhvaćeni suđenjem 2012. i koji se odnose na značajke iPhone kao što su slajd za otključavanje i tehnologija pretraživanja. Apple je ponovno zatražio i zabranu prodaje nekoliko Samsung pametnih telefona, uključujući Galaxy S III, te odštetu od preko dvije milijarde dolara.

Samsung je pak tvrdio da je Apple prekršio dva njegova patenta vezana za prijenos video sadržaja te je zatražio zabranu telefona iPhone 5 i odštetu od 6 milijuna dolara. Sud je u petak također odlučio da Apple mora platiti Samsungu 158.400 dolara zbog kršenja patenta.

Američki sud odlučioje u petak da kompanija Samsung Electronics mora platiti Appleu 119,6milijuna dolara nakon što je utvrdio da je južnokorejski proizvođačpametnih telefona prekršio dva Appleova patenta.
