National Geographic donosi odgovor na pitanje kako je moguće da su vene plave, ako je krv crvena . 

Naime, hemoglobin, protein koji u krvi prenosi kisik, reflektira velike količine i crvenog i plavog svjetla, ali ne istim intenzitetom, s obzirom na nejednake valne duljine.

Za razliku od arterija i kapilara, vene prenose krv bez kisika, koja apsorbira više crvenog svjetla. Što je apsorpcija bolja, to se crvena boja manje vidi. 

Riječ je o svojevrsnoj optičkoj iluziji.

Srce ispumpava krv u pluća kako bi je obogatilo kisikom. Krv se iz pluća dalje prenosi tijelom arterijama, a tada je svijetlocrvena, a potom u kapilare, odakle kisik pruža tkivima. Mnogo kapilara se nalazi, recimo, u usnama, što objašnjava njihovu crvenkastu nijansu, navodi NatGeo.

Kad se krv riješi kisika, odlazi u vene odakle se - tamnocrvena - vraća u srce, gdje započinje novi ciklus.

Kisik ima ulogu u "bojenju vena u plavo". Vene bez kisika postaju tamnije, a premda su i dalje su crvene, po valnoj su duljini bliže plavoj boji.

Postoji i treći faktor, a to je priroda samih vena. Naime, o boji koju percipiramo ovisi i udaljenost vena od površine kože.

Vene koje su bliže koži izgledaju crvenkasto, dok one koje se nalaze dublje ispod površine djeluju plavo. Međutim, vene su najčešće dublje od pola milimetra ispod površine kože, dakle – duboko, zbog čega ih smatramo plavim.

National Geographic donosi odgovor na pitanje kako je moguće da su vene plave, ako je krv crvena . 

Naime, hemoglobin, protein koji u krvi prenosi kisik, reflektira velike količine i crvenog i plavog svjetla, ali ne istim intenzitetom, s obzirom na nejednake valne duljine.

Za razliku od arterija i kapilara, vene prenose krv bez kisika, koja apsorbira više crvenog svjetla. Što je apsorpcija bolja, to se crvena boja manje vidi. 

Riječ je o svojevrsnoj optičkoj iluziji.

Srce ispumpava krv u pluća kako bi je obogatilo kisikom. Krv se iz pluća dalje prenosi tijelom arterijama, a tada je svijetlocrvena, a potom u kapilare, odakle kisik pruža tkivima. Mnogo kapilara se nalazi, recimo, u usnama, što objašnjava njihovu crvenkastu nijansu, navodi NatGeo.

Kad se krv riješi kisika, odlazi u vene odakle se - tamnocrvena - vraća u srce, gdje započinje novi ciklus.

Kisik ima ulogu u "bojenju vena u plavo". Vene bez kisika postaju tamnije, a premda su i dalje su crvene, po valnoj su duljini bliže plavoj boji.

Postoji i treći faktor, a to je priroda samih vena. Naime, o boji koju percipiramo ovisi i udaljenost vena od površine kože.

Vene koje su bliže koži izgledaju crvenkasto, dok one koje se nalaze dublje ispod površine djeluju plavo. Međutim, vene su najčešće dublje od pola milimetra ispod površine kože, dakle – duboko, zbog čega ih smatramo plavim.

National Geographic donosi odgovor na pitanje kako je moguće da su vene plave, ako je krv crvena . 

Naime, hemoglobin, protein koji u krvi prenosi kisik, reflektira velike količine i crvenog i plavog svjetla, ali ne istim intenzitetom, s obzirom na nejednake valne duljine.

Za razliku od arterija i kapilara, vene prenose krv bez kisika, koja apsorbira više crvenog svjetla. Što je apsorpcija bolja, to se crvena boja manje vidi. 

Riječ je o svojevrsnoj optičkoj iluziji.

Srce ispumpava krv u pluća kako bi je obogatilo kisikom. Krv se iz pluća dalje prenosi tijelom arterijama, a tada je svijetlocrvena, a potom u kapilare, odakle kisik pruža tkivima. Mnogo kapilara se nalazi, recimo, u usnama, što objašnjava njihovu crvenkastu nijansu, navodi NatGeo.
