Paul Alexander, čovjek koji je živio 70 godina sa čeličnim plućima, preminuo je u dobi od 78 godina.

Alexander je bio prisiljen živjeti unutar metalne strukture teške oko 270 kilograma nakon što je 1952. godine, u dobi od samo šest godina, obolio od dječje paralize te ostao paraliziran od vrata prema dolje zbog čega nije mogao samostalno disati.

Hitno je prebačen u bolnicu u Teksasu nakon što je dobio simptome, a probudio se unutar mehaničkih čeličnih pluća.

Paul Alexander, čovjek koji je živio 70 godina sa čeličnim plućima, preminuo je u dobi od 78 godina.

Alexander je bio prisiljen živjeti unutar metalne strukture teške oko 270 kilograma nakon što je 1952. godine, u dobi od samo šest godina, obolio od dječje paralize te ostao paraliziran od vrata prema dolje zbog čega nije mogao samostalno disati.

Paul Alexander, čovjek koji je živio 70 godina sa čeličnim plućima, preminuo je u dobi od 78 godina.

Alexander je bio prisiljen živjeti unutar metalne strukture teške oko 270 kilograma nakon što je 1952. godine, u dobi od samo šest godina, obolio od dječje paralize te ostao paraliziran od vrata prema dolje zbog čega nije mogao samostalno disati.

Hitno je prebačen u bolnicu u Teksasu nakon što je dobio simptome, a probudio se unutar mehaničkih čeličnih pluća.

Išao je na koledž, postao odvjetnik i autor. Njegova je priča putovala širom i daleko te pozitivno utjecala na ljude diljem svijeta. Paul je bio nevjerojatan uzor koji će se i dalje pamtiti", napisao je Christopher Ulmer, administrator GoFundMe stranice.

"Tako sam zahvalan svima koji su donirali novac mom bratu.To mu je omogućilo da živi posljednjih nekoliko godina bez stresa", napisao je Alexanderov brat, piše Index.
