Hilary Brown (33) doživjela je srčani zastoj tijekom plastične operacije koju je izveo njezin suprug Ben Brown (40), plastični kirurg. On ju je operirao u svojoj klinici na Floridi.

Nakon srčanog zastoja pala je u komu, a tjedan dana kasnije skinuta je s aparata za održavanje života jer je bila moždano mrtva.

Prema izvješćima, istraga istražuje je li se Hilary možda predozirala lijekovima ili se radilo o nesretnom slučaju, piše Telegraf.

Ben tvrdi da je sve radio po protokolu te da je uz njega u operacijskoj sali bilo stručno osoblje.

Još uvijek nije jasno na kojim je operacijama Hillary tada bila. Tijelo je poslano na obdukciju nakon koje će se znati točan uzrok smrti.

Hilaryni roditelji opisali su je kao "punu vatre i energije".

Roditelji traže istinu

"Želimo odgovore", rekao je njezin otac Marty Ellington za USA Today. "Nismo dobili odgovore. Ako je bila pogreška, bila je pogreška, ali to ne vraća moju kćer. Ne želim njegov novac. Sve što želim su odgovori jer mislim da to dugujemo mojoj kćeri." Rekao je da je njegova kći uživala u braku s nagrađivanim plastičnim kirurgom koji ju je mogao operirati kad god je htjela.

"Bila je prekrasna. Stalno smo joj govorili: ‘Zašto to radiš?‘", prisjetio se.

U objavi na društvenim mrežama napisanoj 24. studenoga dok je njegova supruga još bila u komi, dr. Brown je napisao: "Potrebne su nam molitve za čudo. Hilary je u utorak poslijepodne doživjela srčani zastoj. Nazvali smo hitnu i započeli oživljavanje. Srce joj se vratilo, ali ne i mozak, Hilary Ellington Brown, ti si moja srodna duša, moj svijet, moje sve, molim te, vrati se!.

Par je bio u braku dvije godine, a Hilary je iz prethodnog braka imala troje male djece, u dobi od 4 do 8 godina. Obitelj dr. Browna objavila je ovaj tjedan priopćenje osuđujući optužbe protiv njega, rekavši: "Njegova duboka tuga i šok samo su pojačane mnogim neistinama koje kruže na internetu i u medijima."

"Ben je potpuno shrvan iznenadnim gubitkom svoje voljene supruge Hilary i očajnički pokušava smisliti kako preživjeti dan, a kamoli cijeli život bez nje uz sebe", dodaje se. Opisana je operacija koju je na njoj izveo kao "manja i rutinska", a u izjavi se tvrdi da su poštivani svi odgovarajući medicinski protokoli i da je na licu mjesta bilo obučeno osoblje, piše Telegraf.

Hilary Brown (33) doživjela je srčani zastoj tijekom plastične operacije koju je izveo njezin suprug Ben Brown (40), plastični kirurg. On ju je operirao u svojoj klinici na Floridi.

Nakon srčanog zastoja pala je u komu, a tjedan dana kasnije skinuta je s aparata za održavanje života jer je bila moždano mrtva.

Prema izvješćima, istraga istražuje je li se Hilary možda predozirala lijekovima ili se radilo o nesretnom slučaju, piše Telegraf.
