Splash Mountain, jedna je od najpopularnijih atrakcija Walt Disney Worlda već 30 godina, zatvorena je prošle nedjelje. Kada je ova omiljena vožnja u balvanu niz brzace umjetne planine zaključena, neki obožavatelji zapitali su se: "Koliko bi netko bio spreman platiti vodu sa Splash Mountaina?"

Nakon što su mnogi obožavatelji satima stajali u redu da bi prošlog vikenda u zabavnom parku blizu Orlanda na Floridi iskoristili posljednju prigodu da se u balvanu sjure niz pet katova visoku "planinu", prodavači na eBayu počeli su nuditi ono za što su tvrdili da su manje količine zapakirane vode od tristotinjak hektolitara koji su se koristili za vožnju u Disney Worldu. Cijene se kreću već od od 8,50 do 25 dolara za plastičnu vrećicu s natpisom "Splash Mountain water" ispisanim debelim crnim flomasterom i ručno nacrtanim kapljicama.

Jedan oglas nudi bocu koja navodno sadrži tri decilitra vode od zadnjeg dana vožnje, i to za 7,99 dolara. Drugi prodavač reklamirao je jedan decilitar u staklenci za čak 149,95 dolara.

Kada slična vožnja ponovno bude moguća iduće godine, likova povezanih s ovom atrakcijom, a koji potječu iz Disneyjevog filma "Pjesme juga", više neće biti zbog rasno osjetljivih detalja koje ovaj po novim uzusima sadrži, a zamijenit će ih likovi i teme iz filma "Princeza i žabac" iz 2009., s crnačkim likom princezom. Vodena atrakcija bit će preimenovana u Tianin Bayou Adventure.

Jedan 28-godišnjak, koji se spuštao niz Splash Mountain više od 200 puta, rekao je da nije bio nimalo iznenađen kada je vidio ponude na eBayu. “Disneyjevi fanovi znaju biti vrlo čudni”, rekao je i dodao da osobno nije uzeo nikakve uspomene nakon svoje posljednje vožnje u nedjelju navečer. Disney je ovu promjenu najavio 2020. nakon što su policajci ubili Georgea Floyda. Izvršni direktor Disneyja rekao je tada da se film "Pjesma juga", koji kombinira glumce i animirane likove, nikad neće pojaviti na streaming platformi Disney+ jer "jednostavno nije prikladan za prikazivanje u današnjem svijetu".

Kad je krenula ponuda tobožnje vode sa Splash Mountaina, Amerikanac Phillip Halfacre (42) vidio je postove o tome na društvenim mrežama i odlučio se našaliti. Uzeo je plastičnu vrećicu s logom Splash Mountain koju je sačuvao nakon jednog od svojih posjeta Disney Worldu prije nekoliko godina (dijele se kako bi vam stvari koje pohranite u njima za vožnje ostale suhe), napunio je vodom iz slavine i stavio je na eBay po cijeni od 25.000 dolara.

Gotovo 10.000 ljudi pogledalo je njegov oglas prije nego što ga je eBay uklonio, rekao je Halfacre. Unatoč tome što je njegova šala bila očita, Halfacre je rekao da je ipak dobio dvije-tri ozbiljne ponude u kojima se od njega tražilo da na neki način garantira da je voda doista sa Splash Mountaina. “Disney je svakome od nas čaroban na svoj način”, rekao je. "Ta voda nekome može značiti više nego nekome drugome, čak i ako je u stvarnosti to ista ona koju će dobiti iz slavine."

Nakon što su mnogi obožavatelji satima stajali u redu da bi prošlog vikenda u zabavnom parku blizu Orlanda na Floridi iskoristili posljednju prigodu da se u balvanu sjure niz pet katova visoku "planinu", prodavači na eBayu počeli su nuditi ono za što su tvrdili da su manje količine zapakirane vode od tristotinjak hektolitara koji su se koristili za vožnju u Disney Worldu. Cijene se kreću već od od 8,50 do 25 dolara za plastičnu vrećicu s natpisom "Splash Mountain water" ispisanim debelim crnim flomasterom i ručno nacrtanim kapljicama.

Jedan oglas nudi bocu koja navodno sadrži tri decilitra vode od zadnjeg dana vožnje, i to za 7,99 dolara. Drugi prodavač reklamirao je jedan decilitar u staklenci za čak 149,95 dolara.

Kada slična vožnja ponovno bude moguća iduće godine, likova povezanih s ovom atrakcijom, a koji potječu iz Disneyjevog filma "Pjesme juga", više neće biti zbog rasno osjetljivih detalja koje ovaj po novim uzusima sadrži, a zamijenit će ih likovi i teme iz filma "Princeza i žabac" iz 2009., s crnačkim likom princezom. Vodena atrakcija bit će preimenovana u Tianin Bayou Adventure.

Jedan 28-godišnjak, koji se spuštao niz Splash Mountain više od 200 puta, rekao je da nije bio nimalo iznenađen kada je vidio ponude na eBayu. “Disneyjevi fanovi znaju biti vrlo čudni”, rekao je i dodao da osobno nije uzeo nikakve uspomene nakon svoje posljednje vožnje u nedjelju navečer. Disney je ovu promjenu najavio 2020. nakon što su policajci ubili Georgea Floyda. Izvršni direktor Disneyja rekao je tada da se film "Pjesma juga", koji kombinira glumce i animirane likove, nikad neće pojaviti na streaming platformi Disney+ jer "jednostavno nije prikladan za prikazivanje u današnjem svijetu".

Kad je krenula ponuda tobožnje vode sa Splash Mountaina, Amerikanac Phillip Halfacre (42) vidio je postove o tome na društvenim mrežama i odlučio se našaliti. Uzeo je plastičnu vrećicu s logom Splash Mountain koju je sačuvao nakon jednog od svojih posjeta Disney Worldu prije nekoliko godina (dijele se kako bi vam stvari koje pohranite u njima za vožnje ostale suhe), napunio je vodom iz slavine i stavio je na eBay po cijeni od 25.000 dolara.

Gotovo 10.000 ljudi pogledalo je njegov oglas prije nego što ga je eBay uklonio, rekao je Halfacre. Unatoč tome što je njegova šala bila očita, Halfacre je rekao da je ipak dobio dvije-tri ozbiljne ponude u kojima se od njega tražilo da na neki način garantira da je voda doista sa Splash Mountaina. “Disney je svakome od nas čaroban na svoj način”, rekao je. "Ta voda nekome može značiti više nego nekome drugome, čak i ako je u stvarnosti to ista ona koju će dobiti iz slavine."
