U bivšoj državi štošta je bilo teško izvedivo ili nemoguće – kupovina više nekretnina, privatno vlasništvo nad hotelima ili čak cijelim hotelskim lancima, posjedovanje vlastitog otoka... No, sve se to moglo u igri Monopoli, na kartonskoj ploči i s fiktivnim novcem. Jugoslavija je igračima ponudila vlastitu verziju legendarne društvene igre, u njoj se moglo samo za sebe (dinarima) kupiti dragulje poput Ohridskog jezera ili nekog otoka splitskog arhipelaga. Ujedno, bila je to igra koja je osim zabave ujedinjavala sve ljepote bivše republike – a nije da ih je nedostajalo.

Domaću verziju Monopolija je proizvela kompanija Hribar Jože iz Ljubljane, a pojavila se tek 1986. godine, dakle pola stoljeća nakon nastanka igre uopće. Upitno je, međutim, je li – za one prilike kontroverzna – društvena igra poput Monopolija bila čak zabranjena ranijih desetljeća. Jedna od svjedokinja toga vremena, Olivera Tasić iz iša, sjeća se sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kad se originalna verzija Monopolija igrala kradomice. Tasić je 1977. godine bila studentica Pravnog fakulteta, kad je njezin prijatelj iz Pariza u Niš donio originalnu verziju Parker Brothers Monopolija, prenosi srpski BBC.

Aleksandar Milošević iz Kluba društvenih igara C22 kaže da se ne sjeća da je ranije Monopoli bio zabranjen.

- Sjećam se verzije igre iz osamdesetih i, ukoliko se ne varam, polja jezera Bled i Bohinj su bila najskuplja – kazao je Milošević.

- Nije ga se ranije moglo nabaviti igru u Jugoslaviji, a tada još nije bilo ni naznaka da će se pojaviti domaća verzija – prisjeća se Tasić, kaže i da su svi u društvu bili toliko oduševljeni igrom da su igrali po cijele noći. Bilo ju je teško nabaviti, postala je kao neki mit, veli. Skoro kao neko slasno "zabranjeno voće". Doduše, nije bila službeno zabranjena i zbog nje se nije robijalo na Golom otoku, ali je ocijenjena nepoželjnom, suprotna vrijednostima koje promovira socijalizam.

Puno bezbolnije bilo je, recimo, zaigrati na dobri stari Čovječe, ne ljuti se.

Još radikalnija slika po pitanju Monopilija bila je – u zemljama strožeg komunističkog režima. Mit kaže da je iza željezne zavjese SSSR-a Monopoli je bio zabranjen, kao i u Kini te Kastrovoj Kubi, gdje je diktator Fidel naložio uništavanje svih paketa Monopolija koji se zaplijene. Zabrana na Kubi vrijedi i danas, kao i u – očekivano - Sjevernoj Koreji.

A sada – istina: Monopoli je doista kontroverzna igra za socijalističke/komunističke prilike, ali čak je i na Kubi imao svoju inačicu, prilagođeni Capitolio. Rečenu verziju je proizvodila lokalna kubanska firma kako ne bi plaćala autorska prava kompaniji Parker Brothers.

Nakon revolucije 1959. godine i nacionalizacije privatnog vlasništva, igra nije ni zabranjena, ni spaljivana, nego je Capitolio postao Deuda Eterna iliti Vječni dug, a glavni cilj igre je pobijediti Međunarodni monetarni fond, a umjesto biznismena igrači se nalaze u ulogama zemalja Trećeg svijeta. Umjesto Monopolovog zatvora, u Vječnom dugu može se završiti u - kutiji za vojni puč.

Mit u zabrani u Rusiji također je – samo mit. Monopol nikada nije bio službeno zabranjen ni u Rusiji. Doduše, igru je bilo izuzetno teško nabaviti.

Irina Kibkalo, predstavnica kompanije Mosigra koja drži lanac prodavnica društvenih igara u 28 najvećih gradova u Rusiji, navodi da nikakva zabrana nije bila na snazi, niti je ikada bila službena.

- Kad sam bila dijete, krajem osamdesetih sam imala originalnu englesku verziju – pohvalila se Kibkalo za BBC.

Kompanija Petropan iz Sankt Peterburga je 1988. godine napravila rusku verziju Monopola pod nazivom Menadžer.

U bivšoj državi štošta je bilo teško izvedivo ili nemoguće – kupovina više nekretnina, privatno vlasništvo nad hotelima ili čak cijelim hotelskim lancima, posjedovanje vlastitog otoka... No, sve se to moglo u igri Monopoli, na kartonskoj ploči i s fiktivnim novcem. Jugoslavija je igračima ponudila vlastitu verziju legendarne društvene igre, u njoj se moglo samo za sebe (dinarima) kupiti dragulje poput Ohridskog jezera ili nekog otoka splitskog arhipelaga. Ujedno, bila je to igra koja je osim zabave ujedinjavala sve ljepote bivše republike – a nije da ih je nedostajalo.

Domaću verziju Monopolija je proizvela kompanija Hribar Jože iz Ljubljane, a pojavila se tek 1986. godine, dakle pola stoljeća nakon nastanka igre uopće. Upitno je, međutim, je li – za one prilike kontroverzna – društvena igra poput Monopolija bila čak zabranjena ranijih desetljeća. Jedna od svjedokinja toga vremena, Olivera Tasić iz iša, sjeća se sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, kad se originalna verzija Monopolija igrala kradomice. Tasić je 1977. godine bila studentica Pravnog fakulteta, kad je njezin prijatelj iz Pariza u Niš donio originalnu verziju Parker Brothers Monopolija, prenosi srpski BBC.

Aleksandar Milošević iz Kluba društvenih igara C22 kaže da se ne sjeća da je ranije Monopoli bio zabranjen.

- Sjećam se verzije igre iz osamdesetih i, ukoliko se ne varam, polja jezera Bled i Bohinj su bila najskuplja – kazao je Milošević.

- Nije ga se ranije moglo nabaviti igru u Jugoslaviji, a tada još nije bilo ni naznaka da će se pojaviti domaća verzija – prisjeća se Tasić, kaže i da su svi u društvu bili toliko oduševljeni igrom da su igrali po cijele noći. Bilo ju je teško nabaviti, postala je kao neki mit, veli. Skoro kao neko slasno "zabranjeno voće". Doduše, nije bila službeno zabranjena i zbog nje se nije robijalo na Golom otoku, ali je ocijenjena nepoželjnom, suprotna vrijednostima koje promovira socijalizam.

Puno bezbolnije bilo je, recimo, zaigrati na dobri stari Čovječe, ne ljuti se.

Još radikalnija slika po pitanju Monopilija bila je – u zemljama strožeg komunističkog režima. Mit kaže da je iza željezne zavjese SSSR-a Monopoli je bio zabranjen, kao i u Kini te Kastrovoj Kubi, gdje je diktator Fidel naložio uništavanje svih paketa Monopolija koji se zaplijene. Zabrana na Kubi vrijedi i danas, kao i u – očekivano - Sjevernoj Koreji.

A sada – istina: Monopoli je doista kontroverzna igra za socijalističke/komunističke prilike, ali čak je i na Kubi imao svoju inačicu, prilagođeni Capitolio. Rečenu verziju je proizvodila lokalna kubanska firma kako ne bi plaćala autorska prava kompaniji Parker Brothers.

Nakon revolucije 1959. godine i nacionalizacije privatnog vlasništva, igra nije ni zabranjena, ni spaljivana, nego je Capitolio postao Deuda Eterna iliti Vječni dug, a glavni cilj igre je pobijediti Međunarodni monetarni fond, a umjesto biznismena igrači se nalaze u ulogama zemalja Trećeg svijeta. Umjesto Monopolovog zatvora, u Vječnom dugu može se završiti u - kutiji za vojni puč.

Mit u zabrani u Rusiji također je – samo mit. Monopol nikada nije bio službeno zabranjen ni u Rusiji. Doduše, igru je bilo izuzetno teško nabaviti.

Irina Kibkalo, predstavnica kompanije Mosigra koja drži lanac prodavnica društvenih igara u 28 najvećih gradova u Rusiji, navodi da nikakva zabrana nije bila na snazi, niti je ikada bila službena.

- Kad sam bila dijete, krajem osamdesetih sam imala originalnu englesku verziju – pohvalila se Kibkalo za BBC.

Kompanija Petropan iz Sankt Peterburga je 1988. godine napravila rusku verziju Monopola pod nazivom Menadžer.
