[fulltext] => Broj žena koje su se odlučile na pretrage nakon što jeamerička glumica Angelina Jolie prošle godine objavila da se radispriječavanja raka dojke podvrgnula obostranoj mastektomiji udvostručiose, pokazalo je znanstveno istraživanje koje je provedeno u VelikojBritaniji, prenosi BBC.
Glumica je objavila prošlog svibnja kako se odlučila zaoperativni zahvat nakon što joj je rečeno da ima 87 posto izgleda zarazvoj bolesti zbog visoko rizičnih gena.
Znanstvenici procjenjuju da je oko pet posto karcinoma dojke nasljedno.
"Učinak Angeline Jolie dugotrajan je i globalan i čini se da se uskladu s tim povećao broj odlazaka u klinike", kazao je voditeljistraživanja profesor Gareth Evans sa sveučilišta u Manchesteru.
Znanstvenici su proučili broj posjeta genetskim centrima iklinikama u Britaniji nakon što je vijest o njezinim operacijama obišlasvijet i nakon što je ona pozvala žene da se testiraju na visoko rizičnegene.
U odnosu na 2012. u lipnju i srpnju 2013. broj odlazaka nagenetska savjetovanja i testiranja više se nego udvostručio, utvrdilisu znanstvenici.
Rezultati istraživanja objavljeni su u časopisu Breast CancerResearch i pokazuju da je udvostručeni broj zabilježen i u razdoblju odkolovoza do listopada 2013. u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2012.
"To što je Angelina Jolie objavila da ima BRCA 1 mutaciju i dase podvrgnula zahvatu je vjerojatno imalo snažniji učinak od objavadrugih zvijezda zbog njezina imidža snažne i glamurozne žene", kažeEvans.
"To je možda umanjilo strahove pacijentica od gubitka seksualnogidentiteta i ohrabrilo one koje prije toga nisu razmišljale o genetskomtestiranju".
Mali broj karcinoma dojke, oko pet posto, rezultat je nasljeđivanja visoko rizičnih gena BRCA 1, BRCA 2 i TP 53.

[text] => {OCMSplitter}Broj žena koje su se odlučile na pretrage nakon što jeamerička glumica Angelina Jolie prošle godine objavila da se radispriječavanja raka dojke podvrgnula obostranoj mastektomiji udvostručiose, pokazalo je znanstveno istraživanje koje je provedeno u VelikojBritaniji, prenosi BBC.
Glumica je objavila prošlog svibnja kako se odlučila zaoperativni zahvat nakon što joj je rečeno da ima 87 posto izgleda zarazvoj bolesti zbog visoko rizičnih gena.
Znanstvenici procjenjuju da je oko pet posto karcinoma dojke nasljedno.
"Učinak Angeline Jolie dugotrajan je i globalan i čini se da se uskladu s tim povećao broj odlazaka u klinike", kazao je voditeljistraživanja profesor Gareth Evans sa sveučilišta u Manchesteru.
Znanstvenici su proučili broj posjeta genetskim centrima iklinikama u Britaniji nakon što je vijest o njezinim operacijama obišlasvijet i nakon što je ona pozvala žene da se testiraju na visoko rizičnegene.
U odnosu na 2012. u lipnju i srpnju 2013. broj odlazaka nagenetska savjetovanja i testiranja više se nego udvostručio, utvrdilisu znanstvenici.
Rezultati istraživanja objavljeni su u časopisu Breast CancerResearch i pokazuju da je udvostručeni broj zabilježen i u razdoblju odkolovoza do listopada 2013. u odnosu na isto razdoblje 2012.
"To što je Angelina Jolie objavila da ima BRCA 1 mutaciju i dase podvrgnula zahvatu je vjerojatno imalo snažniji učinak od objavadrugih zvijezda zbog njezina imidža snažne i glamurozne žene", kažeEvans.
"To je možda umanjilo strahove pacijentica od gubitka seksualnogidentiteta i ohrabrilo one koje prije toga nisu razmišljale o genetskomtestiranju".
Mali broj karcinoma dojke, oko pet posto, rezultat je nasljeđivanja visoko rizičnih gena BRCA 1, BRCA 2 i TP 53.
