Opel se okreće struji premda treba istaknuti bogatu tradiciju testnih, sportskih i produkcijskih električnih vozila. Opel već više od pet desetljeća provodi istraživanja i razvija inovacije na području električnih pogonskih sustava. To čini ovog proizvođača automobila iz Rüsselsheima jednim od e-pionira u branši.

Najnoviji Opelovi elektrificirani automobili Corsa-e i Grandland X Plug-in hibrid upravo stižu na ceste. Posve električni Opel Vivaro i nasljednik Mokke X uslijedit će nešto kasnije ove godine, dok će se Opel Combo-e, Zafira Life-e i nasljednik Astre pridružiti gami u 2021. godini. Iz Opela najavljuju da će do 2024. svi modeli osobnih automobila i lakih gospodarskih vozila biti elektrificirani.

Još davne 1968. godine Kadett B Stir-Lec I nudio je princip “produživanja dosega”, koji će kasnije zaživjeti u produkcijskom obliku u Opel Amperi. Studiju Stir-Lec pogonilo je 14 olovno-kiselinskih akumulatora, a elektricitet koji je držao akumulatore stalno napunjenima generirao je Stirlingov motor s unutrašnjim izgaranjem smješten straga.

Samo tri godine kasnije Georg von Opel, unuk osnivača tvrtke, postavio je šest svjetskih rekorda za električna vozila za upravljačem modela Opel Electro GT, koji je postizao 188 km/h pogonjen dvama uparenim elektromotorima snage 88 kW/120 KS. To je vozilo napajao paket nikal-kadmijskih akumulatora mase 590 kilograma te je uz stalnu brzinu od 100 km/h imalo doseg od 44 kilometra.

Istraživanje je između 1990. i 1997. otišlo korak dalje programom Opel Impuls. Impuls I bio je vozilo utemeljeno na Kadettu koje je napajao istosmjerni elektromotor snage 16 kW uz upotrebu nikal-kadmijskih baterijskih ćelija s tekućim elektrolitom. Imao je doseg od oko 80 km i najveću brzinu od 100 km/h. Nakon godinu dana uslijedio je Impuls II utemeljen na karavanskoj izvedbi Astre. Koristio je 32 olovno-kiselinska akumulatora za napajanje dva trofazna asinkrona motora, dajući ukupno 45 kW/61 KS.

Od 1993. do 1997. godine Opel je proveo svoj prvi masovni testni program za električna vozila modelom Impuls III. Flota od deset automobila Impuls III testirana je na njemačkom otoku Rügenu, tijekom čega je prijeđeno više od 300.000 km. Pet vozila bilo je opremljeno nikal-kadmijskim baterijama (45 kW/61 KS), a drugih pet koristilo je natrij/nikal-kloridne visokoenergetske baterije (42 kW/57 KS). Svih deset vozila Impuls III bilo je opremljeno trofaznim asinkronim motorom.

U međuvremenu, 1992., predstavljen je hvaljeni konceptni automobil Opel Twin. Njegov 3-cilindarski benzinski motor zapremine 0,8 litara i snage 25 kW/34 KS mogao je voziti po autocestama, dok bi električni pogon s dva hub-motora snage 10 kW/14 KS ušao u igru prilikom gradske i prigradske vožnje.

Vozač je u Opel Twinu bio smješten u sredini naprijed, dok su straga bila tri putnička sjedala. Godine 1995. Opel je elektromobilnost doveo u segment komercijalnih vozila svojim konceptnim jednovolumenom Combo Plus, koji je imao dvije visokoenergetske baterije od natrij/nikal-klorida koje su radile u kombinaciji s trofaznim asinkronim motorom snage 45 kW.

Nakon toga Opel je razvijao vozila na baterijski pogon te je 2007. na sajmu IAA u Frankfurtu predstavio inovativni Flextreme Concept, koji je imao električni pogon Voltec s produženim dosegom. Flextreme GT/E Concept predstavljen 2010. na Ženevskom sajmu automobila pokazao je kako se taj konceptni pogon može ugraditi u jedan automobil srednje veličine.

Električni pogon s produženjem dosega ušao je 2011. u serijsku proizvodnju s Opel Amperom, prvim električnim automobilom za četvero putnika, posve prikladnim za svakodnevnu upotrebu i putovanja. Energiju za udaljenosti između 40 i 80 kilometara (ovisno o uvjetima vožnje) davala je litij-ionska baterija od 16 kWh koja je napajala elektromotor snage 111 kW/150 KS.

Kad bi razina napunjenosti baterije dosegnula zadani minimum, automatski bi se uključivao benzinski motor snage 63 kW/86 KS i pokretao generator koji je napajao elektromotor. Ta vrsta kontinuirane opskrbe energijom osiguravala je bezbrižnu vožnju bez postaje za punjenje i uz doseg od nekoliko stotina kilometara. Ampera je bila ispred svog vremena te je osvojila naslov Europskog automobila 2012. godine.

Godine 2016./2017. uslijedila je Opel Ampera-e. Uz čisti električni doseg od 423 kilometra, koji je bio vodeći u segmentu (WLTP), Ampera-e prvi je put predstavljena na Pariškom sajmu automobila kao istinska prvakinja dosega. Baterije su stajale posebno ravno ispod razine poda vozila, pa je u Amperi-e bilo dovoljno mjesta za pet putnika i prtljažnik koji je kapacitetom odgovarao prtljažniku pune veličine nekog modela s pet vrata iz kompaktne klase (381 litra).

Ampera-e pokazala je i kako električna mobilnost i uživanje u vožnji mogu ići ruku pod ruku jer je njezin vršni okretni moment od 360 Nm osiguravao impresivno ubrzanje i vrijednosti elastičnosti.

Izlazna snaga njegova elektromotora iznosila je 150 kW/204 KS. Taj kompaktni automobil ubrzava od 0 do 50 km/h za 3,2 sekunde i uz srednji sprint od 80 do 120 km/h prilikom pretjecanja za samo 4,5 sekundi.

Opel se okreće struji premda treba istaknuti bogatu tradiciju testnih, sportskih i produkcijskih električnih vozila. Opel već više od pet desetljeća provodi istraživanja i razvija inovacije na području električnih pogonskih sustava. To čini ovog proizvođača automobila iz Rüsselsheima jednim od e-pionira u branši.

Najnoviji Opelovi elektrificirani automobili Corsa-e i Grandland X Plug-in hibrid upravo stižu na ceste. Posve električni Opel Vivaro i nasljednik Mokke X uslijedit će nešto kasnije ove godine, dok će se Opel Combo-e, Zafira Life-e i nasljednik Astre pridružiti gami u 2021. godini. Iz Opela najavljuju da će do 2024. svi modeli osobnih automobila i lakih gospodarskih vozila biti elektrificirani.

Još davne 1968. godine Kadett B Stir-Lec I nudio je princip “produživanja dosega”, koji će kasnije zaživjeti u produkcijskom obliku u Opel Amperi. Studiju Stir-Lec pogonilo je 14 olovno-kiselinskih akumulatora, a elektricitet koji je držao akumulatore stalno napunjenima generirao je Stirlingov motor s unutrašnjim izgaranjem smješten straga.

Samo tri godine kasnije Georg von Opel, unuk osnivača tvrtke, postavio je šest svjetskih rekorda za električna vozila za upravljačem modela Opel Electro GT, koji je postizao 188 km/h pogonjen dvama uparenim elektromotorima snage 88 kW/120 KS. To je vozilo napajao paket nikal-kadmijskih akumulatora mase 590 kilograma te je uz stalnu brzinu od 100 km/h imalo doseg od 44 kilometra.

Istraživanje je između 1990. i 1997. otišlo korak dalje programom Opel Impuls. Impuls I bio je vozilo utemeljeno na Kadettu koje je napajao istosmjerni elektromotor snage 16 kW uz upotrebu nikal-kadmijskih baterijskih ćelija s tekućim elektrolitom. Imao je doseg od oko 80 km i najveću brzinu od 100 km/h. Nakon godinu dana uslijedio je Impuls II utemeljen na karavanskoj izvedbi Astre. Koristio je 32 olovno-kiselinska akumulatora za napajanje dva trofazna asinkrona motora, dajući ukupno 45 kW/61 KS.

Od 1993. do 1997. godine Opel je proveo svoj prvi masovni testni program za električna vozila modelom Impuls III. Flota od deset automobila Impuls III testirana je na njemačkom otoku Rügenu, tijekom čega je prijeđeno više od 300.000 km. Pet vozila bilo je opremljeno nikal-kadmijskim baterijama (45 kW/61 KS), a drugih pet koristilo je natrij/nikal-kloridne visokoenergetske baterije (42 kW/57 KS). Svih deset vozila Impuls III bilo je opremljeno trofaznim asinkronim motorom.

U međuvremenu, 1992., predstavljen je hvaljeni konceptni automobil Opel Twin. Njegov 3-cilindarski benzinski motor zapremine 0,8 litara i snage 25 kW/34 KS mogao je voziti po autocestama, dok bi električni pogon s dva hub-motora snage 10 kW/14 KS ušao u igru prilikom gradske i prigradske vožnje.

Vozač je u Opel Twinu bio smješten u sredini naprijed, dok su straga bila tri putnička sjedala. Godine 1995. Opel je elektromobilnost doveo u segment komercijalnih vozila svojim konceptnim jednovolumenom Combo Plus, koji je imao dvije visokoenergetske baterije od natrij/nikal-klorida koje su radile u kombinaciji s trofaznim asinkronim motorom snage 45 kW.

Nakon toga Opel je razvijao vozila na baterijski pogon te je 2007. na sajmu IAA u Frankfurtu predstavio inovativni Flextreme Concept, koji je imao električni pogon Voltec s produženim dosegom. Flextreme GT/E Concept predstavljen 2010. na Ženevskom sajmu automobila pokazao je kako se taj konceptni pogon može ugraditi u jedan automobil srednje veličine.

Električni pogon s produženjem dosega ušao je 2011. u serijsku proizvodnju s Opel Amperom, prvim električnim automobilom za četvero putnika, posve prikladnim za svakodnevnu upotrebu i putovanja. Energiju za udaljenosti između 40 i 80 kilometara (ovisno o uvjetima vožnje) davala je litij-ionska baterija od 16 kWh koja je napajala elektromotor snage 111 kW/150 KS.

Kad bi razina napunjenosti baterije dosegnula zadani minimum, automatski bi se uključivao benzinski motor snage 63 kW/86 KS i pokretao generator koji je napajao elektromotor. Ta vrsta kontinuirane opskrbe energijom osiguravala je bezbrižnu vožnju bez postaje za punjenje i uz doseg od nekoliko stotina kilometara. Ampera je bila ispred svog vremena te je osvojila naslov Europskog automobila 2012. godine.

Godine 2016./2017. uslijedila je Opel Ampera-e. Uz čisti električni doseg od 423 kilometra, koji je bio vodeći u segmentu (WLTP), Ampera-e prvi je put predstavljena na Pariškom sajmu automobila kao istinska prvakinja dosega. Baterije su stajale posebno ravno ispod razine poda vozila, pa je u Amperi-e bilo dovoljno mjesta za pet putnika i prtljažnik koji je kapacitetom odgovarao prtljažniku pune veličine nekog modela s pet vrata iz kompaktne klase (381 litra).

Ampera-e pokazala je i kako električna mobilnost i uživanje u vožnji mogu ići ruku pod ruku jer je njezin vršni okretni moment od 360 Nm osiguravao impresivno ubrzanje i vrijednosti elastičnosti.

Izlazna snaga njegova elektromotora iznosila je 150 kW/204 KS. Taj kompaktni automobil ubrzava od 0 do 50 km/h za 3,2 sekunde i uz srednji sprint od 80 do 120 km/h prilikom pretjecanja za samo 4,5 sekundi.

Opel se okreće struji premda treba istaknuti bogatu tradiciju testnih, sportskih i produkcijskih električnih vozila. Opel već više od pet desetljeća provodi istraživanja i razvija inovacije na području električnih pogonskih sustava. To čini ovog proizvođača automobila iz Rüsselsheima jednim od e-pionira u branši.

Najnoviji Opelovi elektrificirani automobili Corsa-e i Grandland X Plug-in hibrid upravo stižu na ceste. Posve električni Opel Vivaro i nasljednik Mokke X uslijedit će nešto kasnije ove godine, dok će se Opel Combo-e, Zafira Life-e i nasljednik Astre pridružiti gami u 2021. godini. Iz Opela najavljuju da će do 2024. svi modeli osobnih automobila i lakih gospodarskih vozila biti elektrificirani.
