Bilo je to prije ravno deset godina kad je Luc Besson izbacio svoj prvi “Taxi”, naslov tako simptomatičan za Francuzovu producenturu. Nakon njega je uslijedio oduži niz francuskih akcijskih filmova, više-manje očito nadahnutih sličnim blockbusterima s druge strane Atlantika.
Istina, možda bi potjere i pucnjave bilo ranije i u europskom filmu da se ovaj mogao proračunski bilo kako mjeriti s Hollywoodom.
Luc Besson je tu bio prijelomna figura. S nešto vlastita kapitala i puno sponzora, te partnerskim odnosima s velikim producentskim grupacijama kao što je Canal plus, Besson u posljednjih desetak godina provlači licenciranu ideju kinematografije koja po svemu konkurira američkim varijantama akcije.
Pod njegovim mentorstvom neki su redatelji postali i prilično afirmirani na terenu. Od svježijih primjera navedimo samo Louisa Leterriera, koji se nakon uspjeha s “Vjernim Dannyjem” (Danny the Dog) upravo potvrdio režijom “Nevjerojatnog Hulka”.
I “96 sati” (Taken) je film tog tipa.
Ovdje jednom bivšem američkom agentu tajnih službi (Liam Neeson) u Parizu otmu maloljetnu kćer. Svi dotadašnji odnosi, između agenta i njegove bivše žene, njega i kćeri, odnosno njegov odnos s bivšim kolegama... sve to stane u desetak šturih i nezanimljivih minuta.
Međutim, odavde postaje bessonovski zanimljivo. Kako je agentu bitno pronaći malu prije negoli joj otmičari naude, to mora napraviti u naslovnom vremenskom okviru.
Musavi Albanci i Arapi
Liam Neeson je imao puno zahtjevnijih uloga, ali u tjelesnom smislu – ne. Njegov lik upada među albansku mafiju kao vuk među ovce i iza sebe ostavlja samo žrtve i mrtve. U njegovu napredovanju ima nešto od spaghetti ironije, ali akcija “šljaka”.
Režija (Pierre Morel) sintetički je svedena na bitno i efektno, a različite sekvencije borbe i potjere osvježavajuće su jasne. S time nema nikakvog problema; tu je sve kao i u drugih ažuriranih filmskih akcija.
Međutim, ideološki, film je pomalo zabrinjavajuće klišejiziran. Djevičanstvo je vrlina, Europa je korumpirana i opasna, a negativci su mahom musavi Albanci i Arapi. Ne vjerujemo da Besson ima nekih predrasuda, i najvjerojatnije je film samo nekritički konformiran jednom određenom tipu američkog žanrovskog filma, koji je do danas uglavnom prevladan.

Bilo je to prije ravno deset godina kad je Luc Besson izbacio svoj prvi “Taxi”, naslov tako simptomatičan za Francuzovu producenturu. Nakon njega je uslijedio oduži niz francuskih akcijskih filmova, više-manje očito nadahnutih sličnim blockbusterima s druge strane Atlantika.
Istina, možda bi potjere i pucnjave bilo ranije i u europskom filmu da se ovaj mogao proračunski bilo kako mjeriti s Hollywoodom.
Luc Besson je tu bio prijelomna figura. S nešto vlastita kapitala i puno sponzora, te partnerskim odnosima s velikim producentskim grupacijama kao što je Canal plus, Besson u posljednjih desetak godina provlači licenciranu ideju kinematografije koja po svemu konkurira američkim varijantama akcije.
Pod njegovim mentorstvom neki su redatelji postali i prilično afirmirani na terenu. Od svježijih primjera navedimo samo Louisa Leterriera, koji se nakon uspjeha s “Vjernim Dannyjem” (Danny the Dog) upravo potvrdio režijom “Nevjerojatnog Hulka”.
I “96 sati” (Taken) je film tog tipa.
Ovdje jednom bivšem američkom agentu tajnih službi (Liam Neeson) u Parizu otmu maloljetnu kćer. Svi dotadašnji odnosi, između agenta i njegove bivše žene, njega i kćeri, odnosno njegov odnos s bivšim kolegama... sve to stane u desetak šturih i nezanimljivih minuta.
Međutim, odavde postaje bessonovski zanimljivo. Kako je agentu bitno pronaći malu prije negoli joj otmičari naude, to mora napraviti u naslovnom vremenskom okviru.
Musavi Albanci i Arapi
Liam Neeson je imao puno zahtjevnijih uloga, ali u tjelesnom smislu – ne. Njegov lik upada među albansku mafiju kao vuk među ovce i iza sebe ostavlja samo žrtve i mrtve. U njegovu napredovanju ima nešto od spaghetti ironije, ali akcija “šljaka”.
Režija (Pierre Morel) sintetički je svedena na bitno i efektno, a različite sekvencije borbe i potjere osvježavajuće su jasne. S time nema nikakvog problema; tu je sve kao i u drugih ažuriranih filmskih akcija.
Međutim, ideološki, film je pomalo zabrinjavajuće klišejiziran. Djevičanstvo je vrlina, Europa je korumpirana i opasna, a negativci su mahom musavi Albanci i Arapi. Ne vjerujemo da Besson ima nekih predrasuda, i najvjerojatnije je film samo nekritički konformiran jednom određenom tipu američkog žanrovskog filma, koji je do danas uglavnom prevladan.
