Dvostruki oskarovac Waltz će 12. prosinca u Berlinu, na 28. dodjeli EFA-inih nagrada, preuzeti europskog Oscara za izvanredan doprinos svjetskoj kinematografiji, a Rampling za životno djelo.

Članovi EFA-e ponosni su što će nagraditi Waltzov sjajni glumački obol na međunarodnoj razini. Posljednjih šest godina, od Tarantinovih “Nemilosrdnih gadova“, Waltz je jedan od najzaposlenijih glumaca na svijetu (“Bračne svađe“, “Nulti teorem“, “Velike oči“...). Rođen u Austriji, Waltz je studirao glumu u Beču i New Yorku. Započeo je karijeru kao kazališni i TV glumac da bi se 2009. probio na film zahvaljujući nezaboravnoj ulozi naci-pukovnika Hansa Lande u “Inglorious Basterds“.


Za tu ulogu Waltz je osvojio prvog Oscara, Zlatni globus, BAFTA-u i ovjenčan je kao naj-glumac u Cannesu, a sve te nagrade, osim potonje, reprizirao je i izvedbom doktora Kinga Schultza u Tarantinovom “Odbjeglom Djangu“ (2012.). Waltzov europski Oscar za “European achievement in world cinema“ bit će još jedna dobra reklama za nadolazeći Bond-film “Spectre“ u kojem on igra glavnog negativca.

S druge strane, 69-godišnja Rampling prima “lifetime achievement“ za izniman glumački opus od sredine šezdesetih naovamo. Iako rodom iz Engleske, Rampling je odrastajući u Francuskoj, Italiji i Španjolskoj postala bilingualna europska glumica. Tijekom karijere surađivala je s nekim od najvećih europskih filmaša, od Liliane Cavani (”The Night Porter”) i Francoisa Ozona (”Swimming Pool”) do Laurenta Canteta (”Heading South”) i Larsa von Triera (”Melancholia”), ali i glumila u filmovima Woodyja Allena (”Stardust Memories”), Sydneyja Lumeta (”The Verdict”) i Nagise Oshime (”Max My Love”).


Za europskog Oscara dosad je bila nominirana pet puta, a jednom ga je i osvojila, i to za ulogu u ”Bazenu” Francoisa Ozona, redatelja kojemu je postala kućna glumica (”Mlada i lijepa”). Nagradu za životno djelo Charlotte dobiva u godini u kojoj je, na Berlinaleu, bila proglašena naj-glumicom za izvedbu u filmu ”45 godina”.

Članovi EFA-e ponosni su što će nagraditi Waltzov sjajni glumački obol na međunarodnoj razini. Posljednjih šest godina, od Tarantinovih “Nemilosrdnih gadova“, Waltz je jedan od najzaposlenijih glumaca na svijetu (“Bračne svađe“, “Nulti teorem“, “Velike oči“...). Rođen u Austriji, Waltz je studirao glumu u Beču i New Yorku. Započeo je karijeru kao kazališni i TV glumac da bi se 2009. probio na film zahvaljujući nezaboravnoj ulozi naci-pukovnika Hansa Lande u “Inglorious Basterds“.


Za tu ulogu Waltz je osvojio prvog Oscara, Zlatni globus, BAFTA-u i ovjenčan je kao naj-glumac u Cannesu, a sve te nagrade, osim potonje, reprizirao je i izvedbom doktora Kinga Schultza u Tarantinovom “Odbjeglom Djangu“ (2012.). Waltzov europski Oscar za “European achievement in world cinema“ bit će još jedna dobra reklama za nadolazeći Bond-film “Spectre“ u kojem on igra glavnog negativca.

S druge strane, 69-godišnja Rampling prima “lifetime achievement“ za izniman glumački opus od sredine šezdesetih naovamo. Iako rodom iz Engleske, Rampling je odrastajući u Francuskoj, Italiji i Španjolskoj postala bilingualna europska glumica. Tijekom karijere surađivala je s nekim od najvećih europskih filmaša, od Liliane Cavani (”The Night Porter”) i Francoisa Ozona (”Swimming Pool”) do Laurenta Canteta (”Heading South”) i Larsa von Triera (”Melancholia”), ali i glumila u filmovima Woodyja Allena (”Stardust Memories”), Sydneyja Lumeta (”The Verdict”) i Nagise Oshime (”Max My Love”).


Za europskog Oscara dosad je bila nominirana pet puta, a jednom ga je i osvojila, i to za ulogu u ”Bazenu” Francoisa Ozona, redatelja kojemu je postala kućna glumica (”Mlada i lijepa”). Nagradu za životno djelo Charlotte dobiva u godini u kojoj je, na Berlinaleu, bila proglašena naj-glumicom za izvedbu u filmu ”45 godina”.
