U splitskoj Galeriji umjetnina može se razgledati zanimljiva samostalna izložba "Ornamentalni kontinuum/ Svinje" Lea Pavlovića, studenta diplomskog studija vizualne umjetnosti s Akademije za umjetnost i kulturu u Osijeku. Odrastanje uz narodne nošnje, folklor, selo i svinje ostavilo je kreativnoga traga na mladom umjetniku, rodom iz Novske u Slavoniji.
Pavlović je, uz pomoć mentora, doc. art. Mirana Blažeka, izradio i izložio vlastita viđenja tradicijskih slavonskih ornamenata.
"Rad postavlja pitanje čije se sve ruke kriju iza uzastopnih, ritmičkih uzoraka što su nam baštinom zapečaćene u sjećanje pleterima, vezovima i drugim rukotvorinama. Praktičnost uporabnih predmeta tradicijskog ornamenta zamjenjuje vizualnost modernih medija umjetnosti. Postav rada je fleksibilan i prilagođava se zahtjevima izlagačkoga prostora, reducirajući broj izložaka ili stvarajući potpuno nove", zapsala je o Pavlovićevom "Ornamentalnom kontinuumu" Ljubica Bilić.
Intrigantan je i Pavlovićev ciklus fotografija "Svinje". Autor je izložio nekoliko fotografija amlematičnih slavonskih domaćih životinja, poigravajući se svjetlom i sjenom, ali i značenjem čija se dodatna dimenzija dobiva i aktualnom svinjskom kugom.

"Umjetnik u fokus postavlja svinju, iznova se pozivajući na Slavoniju čije je pretke othranila upravo ta životinja. U mračnom, inače nepristupačnom i neugodnom mjestu – svinjcu, dočarava dramatični chiaroscuro, kontrast prikaza svinje koji izvire iz tamne pozadine. Ornamentu, kao već uspostavljenom simbolu Slavonije, umjetnik dodaje svinju čijoj zaboravljenoj žrtvi u mraku dostojanstveno odaje počast", objašnjava Ljubica Bilić, studentica Odsjeka za povijest umjetnosti Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu, čiji je mentor prof. Dalibor Prančević.
Izložba u Galeriji umjetnina Split dio je šestog nacionalnog natječaja za studente diplomskih studija umjetničkih akademija i studija povijesti umjetnosti "A4", a može se razgledati do 6. prosinca.

U splitskoj Galeriji umjetnina može se razgledati zanimljiva samostalna izložba "Ornamentalni kontinuum/ Svinje" Lea Pavlovića, studenta diplomskog studija vizualne umjetnosti s Akademije za umjetnost i kulturu u Osijeku. Odrastanje uz narodne nošnje, folklor, selo i svinje ostavilo je kreativnoga traga na mladom umjetniku, rodom iz Novske u Slavoniji.
Pavlović je, uz pomoć mentora, doc. art. Mirana Blažeka, izradio i izložio vlastita viđenja tradicijskih slavonskih ornamenata.
"Rad postavlja pitanje čije se sve ruke kriju iza uzastopnih, ritmičkih uzoraka što su nam baštinom zapečaćene u sjećanje pleterima, vezovima i drugim rukotvorinama. Praktičnost uporabnih predmeta tradicijskog ornamenta zamjenjuje vizualnost modernih medija umjetnosti. Postav rada je fleksibilan i prilagođava se zahtjevima izlagačkoga prostora, reducirajući broj izložaka ili stvarajući potpuno nove", zapsala je o Pavlovićevom "Ornamentalnom kontinuumu" Ljubica Bilić.
Intrigantan je i Pavlovićev ciklus fotografija "Svinje". Autor je izložio nekoliko fotografija amlematičnih slavonskih domaćih životinja, poigravajući se svjetlom i sjenom, ali i značenjem čija se dodatna dimenzija dobiva i aktualnom svinjskom kugom.

"Umjetnik u fokus postavlja svinju, iznova se pozivajući na Slavoniju čije je pretke othranila upravo ta životinja. U mračnom, inače nepristupačnom i neugodnom mjestu – svinjcu, dočarava dramatični chiaroscuro, kontrast prikaza svinje koji izvire iz tamne pozadine. Ornamentu, kao već uspostavljenom simbolu Slavonije, umjetnik dodaje svinju čijoj zaboravljenoj žrtvi u mraku dostojanstveno odaje počast", objašnjava Ljubica Bilić, studentica Odsjeka za povijest umjetnosti Filozofskog fakulteta u Splitu, čiji je mentor prof. Dalibor Prančević.
Izložba u Galeriji umjetnina Split dio je šestog nacionalnog natječaja za studente diplomskih studija umjetničkih akademija i studija povijesti umjetnosti "A4", a može se razgledati do 6. prosinca.
